Really helpful, informative staff as a family-run hotel. Even in the middle of a major music festival in Newquay: they could talk and explain and give hot tips on places to go. The hotel was busy with lots of guests staying and building works were going on - but we still got enough rest. The location was perfect for us and parking easy in front of the hotel and nearby in the back streets for free. Tescos, the bakery and Pizza Express were all near. The hotel bar was a perfect quiet spot to end our first evening with a glass of nice fresh white wine.

The fact that they have cut back on what they offer by way of facilities. Fully functional kitchen but no kitchen staff so no breakfast or meal’s offered.But self catering small kitchen available for all year guests .Same thing with lovely bar and function suite. Only used for private functions.

We were given a very large, clean and comfortable family room. There was a super king size double bed and then two bunk beds in a separate room, offering both parties some privacy.

There was a problem with the temperature of the water in the bathroom, as it had a huge corner jacuzzi bath with it's own heater. The hotel kindly offered a shower in an alternative bedroom.

We had two rooms, clean, spacious, comfortable rooms with a double and a single bed. The rooms were next door , was very easy for my child to go over to the “neighbours “. There was a mini fridge in the room which was lovely because was quite hot outside. Tesco extra 2 minutes walk and the beach was about 5-10 minutes. Helpful, efficient, friendly staff. I really enjoyed staying there.

My husband didn’t sleep well, he said the mattress wasn’t comfortable. Personal preferences.

The bedding was so clean and the bed was comfortable best nights sleep I’ve had in awhile

The floor of the shower didn’t feel safe following an accident I had I’m not safe on my legs and couldn’t use the shower in the room as floor of actual shower felt like an ice rink. A shower mat that could be put in bottom if people prefer would be a brilliant asset. It’s not a Croatian at all as faculties we’re great I just feel as a safety precaution for less abled people it would really benefit

The staff were brilliant, especially the night porters I met. Really friendly and helpful. All the staff I met were very nice.

I stayed in a single room which was a bit small. And absolutely roasting hot at night ,it was very hot the whole week I was there so understandable. I would stay again in a single for a few nights, but any longer would recommend a double. But I can recommend the Lodge. Nice breakfast too.

Room was very pleasant and comfortable had tea making facilities which is great for your morning cuppa.....didnt have breakfast as we prefer to go out for breakfast then under no time scale.....Blackout curtains total bonus too

Shower was shocking very slow water flow and no power to it at all but wouldnt put us off staying in the future

The staff at this property were fantastic especially Alex at reception who always tried his best to accommodate our needs (very polite & helpful) & Manday who cleaned the rooms & tried her best to sort out any technical issues with the rooms eg plumbing & other minor issues, I always found her really helpful & pleasant to chat to.

The kettle in my room wasn't clean, I had to spend significant time attempting to clean it before deciding to use it, it did put me off from boiling water in it for a cuppa.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Couldn’t do enough for you. As the weather was really bad on the morning that we left we asked if they could phone for a taxi. There were no taxis available at that time that the manager took us to the station and would not take any money and even took our cases into the station itself. Breakfast was very good as well. Would go there again

There was absolutely nothing to complain about. It was certainly good value for money. It would have been nice if they did evening meals as well. That would be the icing on the cake

Very kind and supportive staff. My late arrival was welcomed, all the info explained clearly. Tea/coffee maker, water provided in the room. Receptionist Catia was fantastic. She explained how to find the best way to the bus station, printed out the directions map and helped to book a ticket to my next destination.

The shower was tiny, though all clean and nice.
