Breakfast really good, really fast service too definitely a 9/10 at least! Location lovely & quiet Free upgrade to a small double was a fantastic start!

Wi-fi wasn't great not a lot of forthcoming info re the wi-fi and the tv channels(maybe my lack of techno nous to blame in fairness though! Although both sorted eventually - had all the tv channels I needed! However all in all a most magnificent stay and I cant really fault anything much

Our hosts were really good. They did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We ate in the bar on two evenings and food was excellent.

One of us was given a room upgrade from a single to a double. However, the double room was dark, tired and overlooked the back of the hotel, which wasn't the best of views. When we raised this with our host they were very quick to respond and provided an excellent apartment room to stay in instead. Thank you very much for that.

Very good accomodation, we really loved it there. Just a fee minutes walk to the beach which was amazing. Good options for breakfast, extra points for bowling on site and dinner options! Great accomodating staff, very kind and helpful. The only downside was the water pressure in the shower. Other than that, wonderful! Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. Me, my husband and our two children enjoyed our stay. Big thank you and we hope to come back one day!

The apartments are fantastic. Spacious and spotless. Modern and a great size. Beds and linen are fantastic. Breakfast is cooked to order and excellent quality. Excellent value for money. The bar on site and the bowling is fantastic too. Free parking. The main building is quaint and characterful. It's great it's not ultra modern, makes it even better !

The coffee at breakfast was a little weak. That's it really.

We had an amazing stay from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Staff were very helpul accomadation was spotless very warm welcoming establishment. Breakfast was outstanding choices for everyone and had the sunday lunch it was a real home cooked meal absolutely gorgeous. David and Carol are salt of the earth people who have created an enviroment thatt makes you feel at home and longing to return and we definitely will . They went far and beyond.

Great location with easy access to Porth Beach & Newquay town. A lovely and very quiet room. The double bed the most comfortable of anywhere I’ve stayed! Highly recommend to others either on a working trip or holiday. Pub on site which is a sun trap. Thank you Carol & staff. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try the breakfast due to own schedule but it is highly recommended.

Lovely place. I rolled in after a long, annoying day, and settled in nicely. The beds are wonderful, and the staff was very helpful (I needed to book a taxi to the airport, and they provided me all the info I needed). I sadly didn't get to try the breakfast, as I was leaving too early, but I'd love to try it in the future!

The lights were a bit harsh, very clinical white in the room. The shower was very low-pressure, even on the strongest settings.

Lovely building, comfortable bed, excellent food and exceptional location with just a short walk from Porth beach and Lusty Glaze. Fantastic coastline - beautiful. Friendly staff.

Very small room and needs updating. Wall paper peeling off and some areas of the building smelt musty- partly to be expected from an old building.. toilet seat was cracked but this was changed very shortly after we complained

everything about porth lodge exceeded my expectations. lovely hosts dave and carol. and their staff. comfortable and clean throughout. more than value for money. a lovely quiet beach down the hill, approx 200 yards.

A Hidden Gem ***** Unfortunately we were only able to stay 1 night but we will definitely return for a longer stay as soon as we can!! We loved everything about our stay and would highly recommend. Next time we will definitely explore Porth Beach which is just minutes away. Thank you for making us so welcome.
