We were a little unsure about staying, as there are some negative reviews. We had no reason to be anxious. Some say the rooms are small, that's true, but they are lovely cost rooms with lots of charm. Some say the bare floorboards creak; they do, but again it's part of the charm of the place and it's hardly at a level to cause a problem. There are ear defenders in the room if you are especially sensitive. Some say the staff are rude; in our experience they were wonderful. Overall we loved the place, it's charming, the restaurant is great and the staff were lovely. It's a cosy, beautiful, great place.

The room was spacious for a single traveler, I almost didn’t hear people around me (sometimes the toilet flushing), all the toiletries were provided, as well as very nice and clean fluffy towels. You can control the heating in the shower and in the room, it heats up quickly. The area around the hotel is really cozy too, sadly I didn’t have time to walk around more. I’d love to come here more, and would recommend it.

The lights in the room a bit dim (but great for sleeping anyway). The big bed made up of two smaller ones, felt weird sometimes, but the bed was itself comfy.

Stylish hotel in a picturesque fortified town located on the banks of the Maas. Spacious soundproof rooms with great comfort. A nice breakfast and delicious coffee. In the evening I enjoyed various regional products in the restaurant.

Our room was a nice size and very comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was wonderful. Breakfast was also excellent. The staff was very friendly. They had a nice courtyard area to store our bicycles.

Located in the historical center of the old town of Ravenstein, the Keurvorst is a wonderful little hotel in a beautiful area, while still conveniently close to public transport options.

Friendly welcoming staff who were helpful without being obtrusive. The bedroom was well appointed, relaxing and with a good view over the local area. The meals were excellent with a good selection of local beers.

Parking instructions could be clearer but not problematic

The place to be in Ravenstein… Great restaurant with awesome waitstaff the were so helpful it was a pleasure to dine in the restaurant. The room was cute with exposed rafters very historic but definitely a modern vibe. It was clean, smelt great and the bed was comfortable. There was a safe place to leave our bikes.

Very cosy hotel in an old building with a good combination of old-time ambiance and modern facilities. Very good bed. Very clean. Smart automatic night lights. I would have appreciated a power outlet next to the bed, for charging the phone, but it was too far away. Breakfast was great - a small buffet but with all the essentials, and high quality on the food. Good selection of bread, lovely croissant, scrambled and boiled eggs. Individually packed yoghurt, musli, fruit (covid-safe and cute). Welcoming owner and staff. Also a lovely old village, perfect for a short evening stroll. All in all - yes, I will return and I recommend this.
