Originally, my friend and I had booked a room with a double bed and a murray bed in error. The lovely girl at reception (I wish I could remember her name but she was from Quebec province) spoke with her manager and arranged for us to move to a room with a bed each and more room to move around. It was a little extra but worth it. Location is fabulous right beside the Frontenac and easy exploration for the old city. Entry at the front door is up a number of steps, but there is entry around the back for those like us with big suitcases! Would recoomend.

We didn't have a view from the room but the view from the roof terrace is spectacular.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, walking distance to everything. The concierge was so nice to us, even accommodated a very late check in due to a delayed flight! They gave specific directions for us to follow and our arrival (at midnight) was easy and seamless. The king size bed was comfortable and we both slept well - the block outside is very quiet. We enjoyed the spa and Jacuzzi after long days of walking around in the snow. We were grateful for the breakfast as well which kept us satiated while we walked and searched for a place for lunch. Thanks to the hotel staff for a great stay!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was extremely proximal to all of the restaurants and sites we were hoping to see on our 3 days trip to Quebec! The highlights were comfortable beds (even the one that folded out of the wall in the Quad room!) and soft pillows, the self serving wine and espresso machines in the quaint lounge, the location and the front desk attendants could not be nicer or more helpful. The rooms were simply appointed and spacious. We will be back, so happy we stayed here!!

The only thing was that it was extremely dry! We woke up quite parched and water bottles would have been a nice touch!

We stayed for 3 nights recently at this hotel. It is a great location and the rooms are well laid out but small. The rooms do have everything you need. The location is awesome. The entrance to the hotel has steps that are very steep. The hotel should mention this on the website and indicate what customers can do to avoid the steep steps. Is there a different entrance? It needs to be mentioned on the hotel website and also a sign by the main door. It is a huge challenge trying to enter the building with big suitcases. They have free coffee that you can make using the coffee machine in the dining area in the basement. However, the coffee beans that are used aren’t that great because the coffee lacks flavor and tastes like hot water with a hint of flavor. The management should look into getting new variety of coffee beans that can make a robust and flavorful coffee. The coffee machine was used a lot by customers but when you enter the dining area there was no aroma of the coffee, which is kinda weird. I would also recommend they display the name of the coffee beans that’s used and brand. If people like the coffee they might buy the coffee beans later. It will be a good marketing strategy. Also put a sign about non-dairy milk. Are they available? How can customers get non-dairy milk if they need it. If you decide to not offer non-dairy milk that’s fine but must have a sign about it. All the food should have labels with the name in French and English. We enjoyed our stay but the hotel could work on things that I mentioned and it will really help in better customer service. I teach hotel and restaurant management and handle have background in this field, thus I am providing these recommendations 😀

The coffee needs to change to a robust one.

Can't beat this location. It is at the heart of Old Quebec. Right next to the castle and the boardwalk. Little walk away from all the restraunts you need

We had trouble getting our stroller to the room and taking it out because there is no accessible enterance.

Great location by Chateau Frontenac, close to Le Petit Champlain, everything i needed within walking distance (it is on top of a hill though). Amazing staff, so nice, very accommodating, speak both French and English. Clean room, dining room. Loved the lounge/dining area, very stylish and comfortable. It was very quiet which was great, not a lot of guests but maybe it was just low season. Love the free coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Nice big fridge in the room. The room was very stylish and a good size.

Short staffed/not many guests so they didn’t have house-keeping to clean the rooms every day, you had to request the service. Breakfast could definitely be better. It was just plain pancakes, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, bread, fruit, and cereal. The entrance to the hotel is tricky as the steps are quite steep and the door opens outwards, it was a struggle with luggage or shopping bags in the cold weather. Also the front door could use a door mat right in front of it on the inside as the floor is very slippery in the winter when walking in.

The proximity of the property to the Chateau and the Promenade and Funicula. The friendliness of the front desk staff. We didn't expect an elevators in a 4 story building. My wife was delighted with that. Expectation exceeded. The terrace view is great and the seating where one can chill out. I also want to compliment the Booking.com representative Samuel MVQ for going out of his way to send me instructions on how to get into the hotel after 10 PM. Without those we would have had a bad experience since our train was delayed.

I liked everything. One suggestion is to add scrambled eggs to the breakfast buffet instead of boiled eggs :)

The staff were friendly and helped with traveling ideas. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a wonderful rooftop terrace with views and sitting areas, a perfect place to relax and visit. They also have a large room downstairs to gather, play games, or have a glass of wine. In addition, there is a spa, another place to relax. The location was close to everything!!

The staircase up the front door was steep, but there was another flat entrance around the back of the property, which was helpful.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hôtel Manoir Vieux-Québec. The location was prefect, just right behind hotel Fairmont Le Château Frontenac and was walking distance to everywhere! It's also sitting on the top of the mountain so we really loved it. The hotel is very well maintained. All the appliances are new and bedsheet was clean. The staff was great and honestly we did not run into many other guests during our stay. Because of my work, I also remote worked and I had no issue with WiFi. Overall, great experience and we would absolutely come back here!

Although the room had all the amenities, it was a bit compact.

The hotel is easy to find and very accommodating. We dropped off our luggage in the morning and it was securely stored until we checked in at 4:00. Staff was great! Elevators were quick. The rooftop terrace was an unexpected treat. Breakfast was good. Coffee was available all day with their fancy machine. The hotel is in a great location in old Quebec. Short walking distance to many sights.

Our room was small and the window faced a small parking lot. That was disappointing.
