Monique and her husband were excellent hostes. She made us feel welcomed and was attentive throughout our stay. Due the the storm our flight were delayed and they still waited for us way past our check in time. Monique's husband is an exceptional baker and every day he made us fresh bread. Monique also suggested great places for us to eat and what places to visit while staying in Quebec. Another major plus was the comfortable beds. Next time I will for sure stay here again.

I am so thankful to Monique and her family for their exceptional hospitality and kind hearts. I felt at home. Breakfast was yummy with fresh home-made bread of different kinds. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so attentive and cordial. I relaxed very well. And looking forward to come back to you in the summer. :) The B&B is located in a picturesque village Boischatel very close to the gorgeous Montmorency waterfalls and the park. The final stop of city bus 800 is just in 10 minutes of walk from the facility. A modern supermarket with decent and affordable lunch boxes is just across the road.

We stayed there for three Nights during a road trip. Everything was as described and expected. We loved the location close to the falls. But what really made it Special was the spotless clean room and the breakfast with homemade bread and marmelade. Thanks a lot for the local tips you gave us during the breakfast. We would come back. And we can recommend the B&B.

Breakfast was lovely. Monique is a wonderful hostess. The property is in a wonderful spot. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Boischatel is a great little town. It was perfect for our stay.

I wish the air conditioning had been working properly. Nevertheless, Monique was brilliant and made us as comfortable as possible. It wasn’t her fault. I’m sure things are back to normal now.

Great location! Directly across the street from an IGA in a smaller town feel area. Enough restaurants in the area for food as well. The hosts were absolutely wonderful! Breakfast was very good! Home made bread, croissants, scrambled eggs (best I’ve ever had), some fruit and orange juice. The room had everything we needed. Short walking distance to some nice trails.

We shared a bathroom with the room beside us which I was aware of and it worked out fine. We got it to ourselves the next night. The other couple was quite noisy which you could hear right through the walls between the rooms. Thankfully I fell asleep really quickly. The bed was a lot comfier than some we have stayed in however I have found the beds in Quebec to all be not to my level of comfort at all. The sheets almost feel water proof. That being said this might be what everyone is used to here, so probably not an issue for most.

The host was very accommodating. I had food restrictions where essentially all I could eat is vegan diet gluten free. The host provided fruits for me at breakfast, and there is a grocery store right across the street that has all food intolerance/ restriction foods available. There was a microwave and toaster available at the bed and breakfast. The Montmorecy falls were a 5 minute walk, and you could catch a 45 minute bus ride into the city with 10 minute walk from Au gite de la chute. The host helped us with a taxi to the airport as my French was basic. If going into Old Quebec City public transit is very available. If wanting to explore outside of that then a car would be required. The city and airport were only a 25 minute drive by car from the bed and breakfast, and the Montmorecy falls was a beautiful area full of hiking options for a good half day minimum. Excellent place to stay if you enjoy exploring!

Wasn't an issue as the grocery store was available to 9pm, but many of the restaurants were closed by 7pm local to the bed and breakfast, so if one didn't have a car, you had to be cognizant of that when looking for food :)

We were warmly greeted and asked what beverage we would like. Our table was set with an assortment of fresh fruits. Our hostess brought a basket of fresh homemade breads and asked how we liked our eggs. The conversation was great with info on interesting places to see and tips on how to get back on the right road to continue on our journey. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Monique's place is lovely, and she is an expert at making people feel at home and comfortable. She also served us a wonderful breakfast! The homemade croissants and bread were delicious, and the farm-fresh eggs were amazing! The spectacular Montmorency Falls is a short walk away, and we visited them in the evening (which was free)!

Room was good size. We had the one room with the private bathroom. Breakfast is included but small. We had toast, croissants, little fruit, orange juice and coffee. Some little protein would have been nice, boiled eggs or cretons

It was very close to the Falls and across the street from IGA. The house was lovely and we had access to the open area outside that allowed us to relax after a day of driving. The room was comfortable and had individual air conditioning control. The bed was lovely and we had a great sleep. In the morning Monique met us and she prepared a delicious breakfast including homemade croissants and bread.
