The hotel is in a “picture postcard” setting. The village is stunning. The photo that is shown, isn’t the actual hotel, it’s about 100 meters across the away. The room was ok, had a view of the yard! Could do with a little updating, But it had the most comfortable bed. Bus stop right outside the hotel, every 10 minutes or so

This hotel is absolutely wonderful in every way. It is super clean and exactly meets my needs. The bus stop is right at the door step with easy access to Baden. Also the Restaurant is a real treat! Absolutely amazing food. The breakfast is also wonderful with enough variety of fresh and local food. Most importantly, the staff, especially the owner is absolutely the nicest person EVER! I once booked another hotel, which has a similar name...thinking that it was this one. I showed up here after 11 PM and the owner got out of bed to meet me and when we figured out the mistake she insisted on driving me to the other hotel because she knew that it is difficult to get to! Incredibly lovely and kind. I will keep coming back.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel due to early flight out of Zurich. The hotel had two reservations for my stay, one I tried to make in Feb. and one in March. In March I contacted booking,com to make assure I had a reservation but my contact at Booking could not find it, so I made another. The hotel was kind enough to let the double booking pass and did not charge us. Bookings.com failed us and created an uncomfortable position for us. Thankfully the hotel not full and turned no one away due to the double booking. I'm not sure I will use booking.com again due to this egregious error.

Booking.com needs a better tracking system for reservations. When I contacted them, they said they needed a confirmation number which I did not receive for the first booking and could not find that reservation by my name, hotel name and date of arrival and departure. That is a major fail.

Staff are lovely and treat you more like an extended family than as guests. Food is not standard hotel food, it is made with love and freshly prepared. You are located 200 yards from your room, you have the choice to eat in two outside locations, it feels special. There is a bus stop right in your accommodation car park, it is so convenient! Really memorable.

The rooms do not have air conditioning, so get very hot in the summer. But we discovered that the patio doors swing open and greatly help during the night.

Excellent family-run hotel in 350 year old building. Small village location but within 15 minutes bus ride of Baden. The bus stop is just behind the hotel and buses run every 15 minutes throughout the day. My room was large and comfortable with the thick walls and beams you might expect in a building of this age. The breakfast buffet was excellent - very good selection of bread, cheese, cold meats, home-made jams, etc. There were even facilities to boil your own egg! Meals in the restaurant were also excellent. The staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The WiFi was also excellent.

Wonderful quiet hotel in a charming Swiss village. Room was more than spacious for 3 adults, clean, tidy and with nice wooden structures. Staff was nice and even arranged a special request. The breakfast was delightful, with local and home-made products. Although we arrived in the evening, the hotel restaurant went the extra-mile serving dinner close to kitchen closing hours. I warmly recommend

The hotel was very authentic. The room was big, which is very rare to find nowadays. Also the breakfast had almost everything, of course it was not with waffles or crepes or anything special, but very normal and the space was pretty big. The view from the room is fantastic with church of Kirchdorf right on the corner. The bus station is right at the steps of the hotel, in case you dont have a car or you dont want to use the car. The bus stops at Baden Banhof and center city. Also the stuff very friendly and helpful.

Almost everything perfect, minor details which dont affect anything in a tourist stay, so there is no need to mention here. For example I was there during extreme heat wave which is rare in Switzerland, because I have been in Baden several times and this heat is not at all common and the house infrastructure in Switzerland are not adapt for such heat(as in Italy or in Albania or Spain)

The room was clean and comfortable. Also the bathroom was very spacious and breakfast was really Nice.

There is no real AC and it was a bit hot in the room. Right behind the hotel ís a church and the bell rings 4 times every hour. Front our point of view, the room was fine, but the price od stay as well as prices in the restaurant where too exagerated.

I was not able to have breakfast as I had to leave early in the morning. As breakfast was included in the price, I asked for a packed breakfast instead, and they gladly provided it , which was very useful for me. The staff were friendly. The hotel is very nice. And in a quiet location. The food served in their restaurant is excellent.

The scent diffuser they put in the room. I have high sensitivity to smells, and I much rather have a room that is simply clean and odour free, it doesn't have to smell good. So upon arrival I had burning eyes and throat because of that. Luckily I could open the windows wide and put the pot-pourri smelly thing outside.

The location was in a quiet lovely town. The family room was big enough for us and our 2 kids. The breakfast buffet had so many options and even had local products. Everything was delicious! The owners were friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back.
