very clean, staff was exceptionally helpful and polite. the quality of the items in the room was quite high including mattresses, pillows, and comforters. we appreciated extra chairs and a folding stand for suitcases. they also provided a fold-out bed for my son (in the "design plus room size" which I ended up sleeping on instead). we also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, which included different freshly baked breads, jams, cheeses, cereals, juices, eggs you can hard boil, cured meat slices, and as much coffee as you need. breakfast was not automatically included but for the additional cost it was worth it.

the shower was a little weird because it was not fully enclosed. water would spray out of the gaps between the panels too. we were able to see another room that did not have occupants and neither problem seemed to apply. we could have asked about it but i'm unsure they would have been able to "fix" the shower in time for us to enjoy our stay.

I liked the location in the historical area. It was easy to walk to attractions and had many restaurants nearby. Also very close to the river. Good breakfast variety. Nice ammenities in the room. We had several outlets to use. The bathroom was large. The glass did not wrap all the way around the tub but it wasn't a problem. I would stay here again! Our room was for 3 and we had room to open all our luggage and still walk around.

Breakfast & construction. Coffee........ in one of the world's biggest milk coffee drinkers like German Switzerland? The good coffee was on the ground floor. Professionally made! But in the breakfast on Floor 1 - the machine coffee was "ordinary" at best! Also the room filled fast - and really it felt like being in a sardine can! I'd recommend opening the downstairs for breakfast! You are either good at supplying breakfast - or you want to be a bar / cafe. But you don't have the room for both. CONSTRUCTION. Right below our room. And no advance warning. Poor - very poor!

Location is fantastic! In old town, perfect for walking around and exploring. Safe area, friendly staff. Access to a bar/cafe on main floor of hotel. Quiet at night. Bed was comfortable. Provided discount for us to keep our car parked overnight at a nearby garage (7 min walk from hotel). Close to many food/coffee options. Close to public transportation. Shower pressure was great!

Thought we had access to AC but did not. They provided a bedside fan in our room. Didn’t bother us tremendously bc we kept windows open and used the fan but could see this being more bothersome if it was hotter. Key system for hotel kind of confusing but not a dealbreaker. Bathroom is awkward/compact and its door is a bit heavy to slide back and forth.

The staff very professional and friendly. They carried all our luggage up several flights of stairs for us, as the lift was not working. The breakfast buffet offered many options, such as soft or hard-boiled eggs, bread, pastries, several types of meats and cheeses. You can purchase breakfast in advance, or choose to purchase it each morning. The location could not be better if you're planning to see sights in historic Zurich. The beds were comfortable and I appreciated the feather pillows. The rooms were spacious, especially in an older building. Would definitely stay here again, but book on lower floor.

The one lift was out of service for the three days we were there, although to the hotel 's credit, workers were working on it each day. Also, it isn't easy (or maybe even possible) to adjust the room temperature. We opened windows to be able to cool down the room. But, keep in mind this is an old building, which is the charm. If you want all the modern amenities, look for a new building.

Fantastic location in the heart of Zurich. The place is cozy, comfortable, and offers excellent value for money—especially considering how expensive accommodations can be in the city. Highly recommended for travelers looking for convenience and comfort without breaking the bank. I also appreciated the safe parking near by with a guest discount and the cozy lounge bar, which added a nice touch to the overall experience

I thought people were being over sensitive about the pillows (when I read the reviews) but they are really flat! The property claims they have AC. But that is only in the highest category rooms. When I said this is misleading, Larson told me this happens often with Property.com bookings. I would ask you to look into this so that customers are not mis-led. My kids room had a ceiling fan but my room - we were only given some portable table fans. It was very hot in the room.

Great location and the very center of the Old Town (Altstadt) of Zúrich. The hotel is boutique (small) however, you get a good feeling of there and the ambiance is impressive. Everything is clean and cool. Staff was very helpful and professional. Also, storing the luggage until your next flight/train is a great convenience, and very highly appreciated!

The one-person room was too small. It is a bit hard to move and maneuver around the room and washroom, way too tight.

Staff were super helpful. Lovely bar in the hotel. Location was amazing - a 2 min walk from the river and right by a tram stop to the main station. Breakfast was a continental spread, but was tasty and had various cheeses, meats, cereals and croissants available. Room was very clean and our bed was made every day.

The pillows were so soft it felt like we were laying on the mattress. Didn't replenish the tea bags in the room, but reception were happy to give us some more when asked. No milk provided for tea. No aircon, not necessarily a bad thing just something to keep in mind during summer / when it's very humid. A fan was provided in the room.
