I stayed here for 6 nights and really enjoyed it. The room was small, but since it was just me, it was perfect. The bathroom looked newly renovated and was very clean. The bed was comfy. I will mention that the ceiling was pretty low, but I'm short so it wasn't an issue. If you're above 6 feet, you might struggle a bit in the room (or at least the room I stayed in). The location was amazing. Right by the river and by shopping, food, etc. The noise level was pretty low as well which was nice. The room also had a mini fridge which was a huge bonus for groceries since I stayed so long. Everything is walkable. The train station is a gorgeous 15 minute walk away. The lake is a 12 minute walk. Check in was easy. I got in late, and the guy who checked me in stayed up for me and was very friendly and got me settled in. I would stay there again if I go back. It was more affordable than other hotels in the area, and had no issues.

I can't find anything I didn't like unless I was trying to nitpick about things. It was a very enjoyable stay.

The location is perfect. In the city center, close to cafes, restaurants and in a small street. It was quiet. It is 10 mn walk to the main train station. The room is fine even if a bit small. The shower is great: strong water pressure even on the 4th floor! Coffee is available in the room. The check in and check out (keys in a box) were really easy. A good place to stay for a short break in the city center.

The bed is too soft (our opinion) and the room has a minimum size (normal in city center like this!). We faced troubles with the Nespresso machine which did not stop (not normal) and water was overflowing as we did not pay attention. We cleaned all but could not tell the owner as the reception ( in the bar) was closed. We will send a separate message directly to the property to tell the room number.

The check in process was easy through the bar. The gentleman (Sanjay?) was very kind, helpful, and efficient in the check in process. Our room was equipped with a Keurig type coffee maker and a pot to heat water. The room had two glasses and two coffee cups with spoons. The room was spacious with many shelves to store items. There were windows that blocked out the sound and also created a cross draft. The shower was very good, easy to get in and out of and a nice shower head that had some pressure.

I would have liked to have a fan in the room, soap for the shower, and shampoo and hair conditioner. The soap came in a very small packet that would not allow for more than a face wash. A dispenser on the shower wall would have been helpful. There was not a breakfast provided.

The hotel is in a great location. Walk distance from all of main attractions. The room was basic at is it named but had all the neccesities. The room had an espresso machine, and the coffee was really qualitative. The room was clean and ready to check-in ahead of the appointed check-in time. The check-in was made at the bar next to the hotel, which is managed by the same guy who manages the hotel. He was the most multitasking person I have seen :) and was always available to help. The bar was very popular as we noticed and had great cocktails

Overall, I liked it, but I would suggest maybe adding a second nightstand next to the bed.

The price is absolutelly incredible, night for 3 people was at the same price in other hotels just for one person, beds were so comfortable and the appartment was bigger than we expected. The terrace is very great, I think it would be great much light there and also some cushions for the furniture, I can imagine that terrace would be a dream on summer days. They also offer a café machine for free with sugar, tea, etc. The neighborhood is so alive alive, I stayed on monday, and I saw many restaurants, bars & convenience stores opened until midnight. Consider on 2025 all the Zurich centre is on maintenance works, so is probably some noise very early, this is not a hotel problem, my comment is just to consider if you’re not a morning person.

The electrical outlets were on a very weird places on my opinion, but not too bad, maybe offer some USB or European conections would be great

The room had a nice, modern vibe. Some good storage space. Fridge was great to have. Bathroom had space and was modern. Good for short term stay.

Only got one set of 2 tiny shower gel/ shampoo sachets - not enough for two people. Glasses on the bathroom sink looked dirty. Bin was very tiny, not enough space for trash. Pillows were flat and not comfortable. Visitors be aware of the tourist tax, as this will come on top of the advertised room rate.

Oh my godddd! This is the cutest hotel ever.. it’s so cosy, clean, comfortable and amaazinggg! The location is top! Super central! Tram station right there. Main train station 9 mins away walking. Two coops right around the corner if you get snacky.. it’s right by the river. And there’s an elevator incase you’re worried about lugging yr luggage up flights of stairs. Pipping hot water! Complimentary coffee with a whole selection of coffee pods The host was a gem! The checkin process smooth. 10/10 I’ll be staying here when we come back to Zurich! Thanks a bunch StattHotel!

Fantastic location in the old part of town steps from excellent restaurants and shopping in a secure building. The person who checked us in was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had a fridge and coffee maker. Very clean bathroom with nice towels. It was perfect for an overnight stay in Zurich.

Although it was a "quiet room" it's still pretty noisy until after midnight due to there being a bar on the street level. With the windows closed the sound level really wasn't too bad though and earplugs were also provided.

We loved the location as it was central to everything and not a far walk from the parking garage. It also has an elevator that was small but great to have as we stayed on a higher floor. It was also very quiet. My husband who is 6ft tall could stand and shower pretty comfortably.

If I had to choose one thing it would have been the laundry bags in the staircase because it’s tight without that being there but it was not a big deal for us at all and we didn’t really mind it.

Excellent central location and short walk from train station. Small room but with coffee maker and nice bathroom. Comfy bed. Earplugs were a good addition (there were roadworks right outside the hotel next morning first thing - beyond the hotel’s control)

When I came in at 8:30pm I had to scramble around and over very large bags of dirty linen that were waiting in the small entrance passage to the lift. Glad I wasn’t a late check-in as I would never have been able to do that with my luggage. Would have been good to have had a heads up about the roadworks outside (especially as I only booked less than two days before)
