The check in process was easy through the bar. The gentleman (Sanjay?) was very kind, helpful, and efficient in the check in process. Our room was equipped with a Keurig type coffee maker and a pot to heat water. The room had two glasses and two coffee cups with spoons. The room was spacious with many shelves to store items. There were windows that blocked out the sound and also created a cross draft. The shower was very good, easy to get in and out of and a nice shower head that had some pressure.

I would have liked to have a fan in the room, soap for the shower, and shampoo and hair conditioner. The soap came in a very small packet that would not allow for more than a face wash. A dispenser on the shower wall would have been helpful. There was not a breakfast provided.

The hotel is in a great location. Walk distance from all of main attractions. The room was basic at is it named but had all the neccesities. The room had an espresso machine, and the coffee was really qualitative. The room was clean and ready to check-in ahead of the appointed check-in time. The check-in was made at the bar next to the hotel, which is managed by the same guy who manages the hotel. He was the most multitasking person I have seen :) and was always available to help. The bar was very popular as we noticed and had great cocktails

Overall, I liked it, but I would suggest maybe adding a second nightstand next to the bed.

The price is absolutelly incredible, night for 3 people was at the same price in other hotels just for one person, beds were so comfortable and the appartment was bigger than we expected. The terrace is very great, I think it would be great much light there and also some cushions for the furniture, I can imagine that terrace would be a dream on summer days. They also offer a café machine for free with sugar, tea, etc. The neighborhood is so alive alive, I stayed on monday, and I saw many restaurants, bars & convenience stores opened until midnight. Consider on 2025 all the Zurich centre is on maintenance works, so is probably some noise very early, this is not a hotel problem, my comment is just to consider if you’re not a morning person.

The electrical outlets were on a very weird places on my opinion, but not too bad, maybe offer some USB or European conections would be great

Oh my godddd! This is the cutest hotel ever.. it’s so cosy, clean, comfortable and amaazinggg! The location is top! Super central! Tram station right there. Main train station 9 mins away walking. Two coops right around the corner if you get snacky.. it’s right by the river. And there’s an elevator incase you’re worried about lugging yr luggage up flights of stairs. Pipping hot water! Complimentary coffee with a whole selection of coffee pods The host was a gem! The checkin process smooth. 10/10 I’ll be staying here when we come back to Zurich! Thanks a bunch StattHotel!

We loved the location as it was central to everything and not a far walk from the parking garage. It also has an elevator that was small but great to have as we stayed on a higher floor. It was also very quiet. My husband who is 6ft tall could stand and shower pretty comfortably.

If I had to choose one thing it would have been the laundry bags in the staircase because it’s tight without that being there but it was not a big deal for us at all and we didn’t really mind it.

Excellent central location and short walk from train station. Small room but with coffee maker and nice bathroom. Comfy bed. Earplugs were a good addition (there were roadworks right outside the hotel next morning first thing - beyond the hotel’s control)

When I came in at 8:30pm I had to scramble around and over very large bags of dirty linen that were waiting in the small entrance passage to the lift. Glad I wasn’t a late check-in as I would never have been able to do that with my luggage. Would have been good to have had a heads up about the roadworks outside (especially as I only booked less than two days before)

Hotel location is very central, very easy to reach from the train station, almost too good to be true for Zürich. The welcome was very pleasant, instructions were clear, check-out time was generous, room quiet and clean, equipped with everything needed, including a table, a coffee machine, a kettle and a fridge!

The bath towels were rather poor quality made of synthetic fibers - unpleasant to use after shower and not drying the skin well. Mattress was a bit too soft. Housekeeping tried to come in and open the door with their key at 9AM while we were sleeping.

The price and the location were great. The room was newly decorated and there was a small kitchenette so we could have prepared our own meals if we wanted to. Checkin was simple and easy at the cocktail bar next door and the location felt very secure. Despite being surrounded by restaurants and bars in the centre of town, the room was very quiet at night.

The only washing materials provided were tiny and hard to open sachets of a combination shower gel and shampoo. There was only one large cup and one small espresso cup for a double room so we struggled with our morning cup of tea!

The property and staff was great! Location was great! Nice bar with a great atmosphere downstairs. Right in the heart of old town. Would definitely stay here again! Family loved the unique layout and the coffee machine was a major bonus!

If I had to say anything negative. It would be the fact that they don’t offer any luggage drop for early arrivals as we arrived at 8am by air and checkin was at 2. Although the nice gentleman opening the bar let us drop bags in the room at 11 even before room was clean so we could go explore without dragging our bags around. With that said I wouldn’t change a thing about our one night in Zurich at the Statt!

The space was open, airy and clean. The AC unit worked well to cool off the entire space but it was having a leaking issue which I was assured would be resolved and did not prevent the system from working. I just used towels to catch the excess water which was not a big deal.

No complaints. The hotel was easy to find, in a great location, staff was friendly and available when I needed them. There is not a traditional front desk - there is a key card reader on the door to the exterior and a key card reader on the room itself. I felt safe with this system in place.
