Great location - only about 5mins walk from Zurich HB, and great location within the city to see all the sights. My room was lovely, nice view, bathroom and everything else was perfect. There’s a safe and minibar, water in the minibar was definitely free, although possibly everything in it was. Mini toblerones left on the pillow was a lovely touch. International power sockets in case you don’t have a Swiss plug. The woman who checked me in and worked on reception (I didn’t catch her name) was so kind, welcoming and ready to help with anything, thank you to her! You can leave your bags after checking in. Breakfast included and has a good selection - yoghurt, hot eggs, bacon etc. and more. Really would recommend staying here, lovely place!

Nothing - everything was great!

This is a very nice place to stay. The location is central old town with many sights, bars and restaurants nearby and Lake Zurich an easy walk away. Public transport (central train station, tram stops and Polybahn cable car) are also very close by. All the staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi worked perfectly and I was offered the use of a free mobile hotspot device as mobile data roaming was problematic, given that Switzerland is not in the EU. The breakfast offered was tasty and more than adequate, and because I had to leave the hotel too early to be able to have breakfast on several mornings, the staff put together a "lunchbox" that was delivered to the fridge in my room every day. Coffee, tea and water were available free of charge 24/7 in the lobby. My room was compact but very well designed with attention to detail; plenty of clothes hangers (and not the mean variety without a hook either : ), towel rails and heaters, a magnifying mirror in the bathroom, plenty of sockets (some with permanent power and adaptors for various different plugs) and of course a comfortable bed. If/when I return to Zurich, I won't hesitate to stay here again!

The location is great - right in the old town of Zurich - so you are close to all the main attractions, hip locations and the main train station. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, and this mindset applies to all of the facilities of the hotel - from the free tea, coffee, and fruit, to power adapters and kettle that you can borrow to the first refill of the minibar. Last but not least, the rooms are lovely as well, as they are neat and cleaned daily. Overall a great stay!

The hotel is a family owned small hotel. The staff at the reception welcomed us warmly. The room was modernly decorated and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. They offer free drinks at the minibar. Coffee machine is available at the entrance for free tea and coffee. The apples served at the reception were delicious. The breakfast was reasonable. The staff was always nice to everyone. The location is close to many places. There are cafes and restaurants at every corner. It was a very pleasant stay for us. Could not find anything to criticize.

Room was small but was enough for 2 people. There were 2 separate twin beds which I requested and room was very clean. Room was available before check-in time which allowed us to relax after a long train ride. Great location as walking distance from train station and city center. 2 gentlemen at the reception desks were very helpful when we asked directions. They were patient and cheerful every time we asked for directions to different places we would like to go. Breakfast was delicious with lot of options. Ladies who were manning the breakfast area were so nice and efficient in maintaining the tables clean and food well supplied. One lady who was cleaning the breakfast area in the afternoon lent us some utensils so we can eat our take-away restaurant food. She just asked us to return them in the morning or leave them in our room.

The lady who was at the reception desk was rude when I asked her directions to the Bachmann confectionery. I asked her nicely to write down the name of the street and the famous Swedish torte. She looked at me with exasperation and uttered some words that I did not understand. What a stark contrast with the 2 gentlemen who also work at the reception desk.

In the heart of Zurich's atmospheric Old Town. A smallish and simply furnished room, but with many thoughtful details that made it a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Although a single room, the bed was comfortable and a very generous size. Plug sockets for various countrys' plug types are built in (including UK). I had requested a kettle in the room, and found it waiting for me there. Some complementary drinks are provided in the mini-fridge, and free self-service tea/coffee is provided in the entrance foyer at any time. Inclusive breakfast was standard fare and of very decent quality. Would be very happy to return and recommend.

Staff are great! Special Thanks to a young lady who is working on front desk, and she is kind, patient and professional! I saw her answering customers questions with big smile on her face and she explained which is a good bar and which is a good restaurant might suit the customer patiently. I didn’t have chance to learn her name, and I was not able to say goodbye and thanks to her when I checked out. She saw me to go downstairs to get hot water over and over so that she gave me a electric water kettle which helped me A LOT! Thank you! The location is fabulous! It is very easy to go anywhere I need! Breakfast is good too!

Excellent location - right in the heart of the tourist area for dining etc. Despite that, our room was exceptionally quiet! The hotel staff was excellent, especially the woman (Ronah?) who checked us in and helped us as we were departing and looking for a lost wallet… I also liked the few small perks: coffee 24/7, apples, a beer or water in the room upon your arrival. Breakfast was excellent!!

The room was small. Clean efficient but small. I banged my shin into the bed and it still hurts.!?!

I enjoyed very much during my stay at this hotel. The location is not really near the main station but it is easy to walk without luggage about 10-15 mins. We reached Zurich by train and took a tram no4 to hotel. The check-in is easy and the lady at counter is the one of the friendliest service staff I met during this 2 weeks. She also help us to book a shuttle service to airport on the last day. The room is spacious good for 3 persons and bed is comfy and look exactly the same from the pic The breakfast is good enough for us, coffee, eggs bacon and yogurt and cheese.

It would be prefect to provide in room slipper.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, everything we needed. We particularly liked the position which meant we went out in the evening, we were amongst great restaurants, and enjoyed a lovely wander round the old town. We did hear people outside, but ear plugs were provided, which we didn't need to use, as the noise did not reach a level to bother us, just made us feel happily on holiday, and hey! It was England v Switzerland! We were also easily able to walk to and frm the station in 5 mins. Good information provided as well, thank you!
