Excellent breakfast - Little gluten free bread loaves were provide on request and were very tasty. Location is very good for sightseeing Old Town with access to lots of good restaurants. Good access to walk along the river and to lake and pretty close to the designer shopping and FIFA Museum. Close to most transit options. Note, the hotel is in a 'pedestrian only' zone so you have to walk with luggage to/from transit, but it is not far - about 10 minutes.

Although room was very clean overall, the makeup mirror and extension bars were forgotten in the cleaning process. Room was a bit warm even after adjusting the temp, so we opened windows, which means you get some noise from people in the street. There is construction throughout much of the old town area, sections of streets are ripped up, perhaps replacing underground pipes. During the weekend they were not working, but on Monday morning they were hard at it, so expect noise.

From the moment we entered, we were greeted by Tico, who was friendly and very helpful. Our room was not ready as we were very early, but he took some time to give us information on what we could see and do in Zurich. We were told we could wait in the lobby, which was on the 1st floor, and could have some coffee/tea while we waited. We were quite surprised at the entertainment available while you wait. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you visit Zurich. It is within close proximity to restaurants, bars, shopping precincts, and train stations(10 to 15-min walk from the train station in the old town. Our room overlooked the square, and we enjoyed standing at the window, watching people walk past. Music started around 8 pm from a restaurant outside, and we thought it would go all night and were scared we were not going to get sleep, but to our surprise, everything was quiet before 10 pm.

Outstanding hotel staff giving top notch service. Our room was sparkly clean everyday, cleaning services is 5 stars. Our room was spacious with beautiful lighting and blackout curtains. We had a wonderful view of the courtyard where you can see the bustling of people enjoying their surrounding restaurants, and shopping. Breakfast buffet was generous with very delicious selections. Hotel is very close to trams and main station for travel, an array of restaurants, shops, cafés, and banks for currency exchange. Enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Zurich and sights!

Location is nice,and the clerks are very friendly. I stayed here for two days everything is great.

Perfect location in historic old town Zurich. Room was so nice and clean, front desk so helpful, breakfast especially delicious. My kids loved the common area which had video games and snacks. I would stay here again. Best restaurant in Zurich across the street--Trattoria Sempre. Get reservations, which the front desk kindly did for me. They also arranged for my ride to the airport. I think this is a gem of a hotel. Kudos to Booking.com for recommending it.

My only complaint is that the bathrooms could use updating. But, the shower was fantastic, so really no complaints.

1. You have to fix AIR FLOW (hall in windwos are not finished). 2. And fix some black mold in shower, because its not good for health. 3. One of the girl on reception maybe because of politic situation deside not to speak with me in russian language (by the way i'm not from Russia , but i can speak luently and it easier for her too) and try to explain everything in english and by mistake or not send us to the first floor instead for 4rd floor. My opinion if you work with people , your own opinion have to keep on the side. The rest personal was friendly

Fabulous lounge and communal family room. Comfortable beds. Staff were all lovely and very welcoming.

We were a bit confused about the ‘bar’ cited under the booking.com facilities. When we arrived we were told the bar was closed on a Monday. On the Tuesday we were told the bar was actually not in the same building but just down the next street and we weren’t allowed to bring drinks to our room but we could have water on room service, which wasn’t really what we were after! A glass of wine in the lounge would have made all the difference. The ‘breakfast included’ was basic but came with a price list of foods you could order to pay for, such as soft boiled eggs and cappuccinos. I’ve never come across this before, either breakfast is included or it isn’t. Our suite was great but the bathroom was in need of a refurb.

Location perfect..

The location was excellent just in the middle of everything, near the zurich hb main station and 15 minutes by train from the airport . The hotel was very beautiful , clean and with excellent staff:)

The third bad was doing noises when a sleeping person turned from side to side on the night

Location, actual room, staff were friendly easy to walk to from station.

Bed side lights could not turn off due to hotel's new lighting system. Lights remained dim even at night time and had no choice but to sleep with on. Bathroom fan did not come on, sink plug lever malfunction. More variety with meat option fot breakfast - mainly pork and 1 day chicken. Would be better with labels on what is there, cross contaimination of utensils used to take pork, potatoe, eggs. Just 1 type of milk ' full fat, no semi skimmed, skimmed, soya etc. There seem to be drilling on the Wednesday and Thursday of our stay, which was not helpful.
