Great location 5 minutes walk from Zurich HB station and in old town. (We used it for a one night layover/visit). Room for 3 was a good size and staff friendly & helpful. Continental breakfast was included and had a good range - this made it good value for money. Also had a drink station in reception so we could make a cup of tea anytime.

Room was next to a road and a bit noisy on the Saturday night we stayed (but they had ear plugs in the room). Double bed was firm but okay but single was like a camp bed and disappointing.

The location is fantastic—very close to public transportation and major attractions. For Zurich, the price is incredibly fair considering the level of hospitality provided and it includes breakfast. I stayed in single room #704, which was quite small and basic, but it had the advantage of a private bathroom. It was very quite during my stay. The breakfast was very good—while it doesn’t include meat, there’s a wide variety of options like delicious bread, fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and more. However, the selection is the same each day. I also appreciated the nice complimentary hot drinks and water, including sparkling water, available throughout the day. The hotel didn’t have an electricity adapter for my devices, and the plugs in the rooms are designed only for Swiss standards. That is why I am giving 9/10. Additionally, the elevator can take quite some time, especially during busy periods.

This hotel caters amazingly for families. There were so many thoughtful little touches, from the ice cream on arrival (which was absolutely amazing!), to the Cots for my babies which came with proper cot bedding and hooded bath towels (if you know you know!) and even a changing table in the ladies toilets…I’ve stayed in so many fancy hotels and most of them don’t have this or it’s such a squeeze to actually change them! The rooms were all really clean with plenty of space for my toddler to move around (read run 😂) and the breakfast was also perfect for all 4 kids-toast, cereals, fruit, croissants and yoghurt keeps them all happy!

The only issue we had was the lack of aircon in the room however they did give us fans and we happened to visit when it was 33 degrees so 99% of the time you could never need the aircon so completely understandable why they don’t have it!

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We liked being able to use the fridge downstairs and having access to free tea and coffee. The location was convenient for the station, and for exploring the old city. We loved the complimentary ice-cream on arrival. Very refreshing! Thank you.

Our room was at the back of the hotel, overlooking a busy main road which was noisy. We wanted to open our windows because it was hot but the noise forced us to keep them them closed. It was a hot day when we stayed and our room was hot, but the fans provided were a great help. We were disappointed that there was no breakfast available for guests who had to leave early to catch a flight from the airport. Breakfast opened at 7.00am. We had to leave by 6.45am We thought it would have been nice to have something available, even if just a pre-packed croissant, a piece of fruit and maybe a yoghurt in the fridge? The coffee was nice though!

Friendliness of the reception staff on arrival was great. In addition, I got even a delicious ice cream. The free internet was fast and the location very central. The breakfast was very simple but perfect for me. Also, there was free water and coffee/tea one could get any time of the day free of charge near reception. The bed was very comfortable! Also, all cleaning and kitchen staff were genuinely very friendly and had a nice smile! Thank you!

I wouldn’t say „not like“, but the interior of the room was a little minimalistic not to say cold. But I got quickly used to that. Also, it was an exceptionally hot day in Zurich so my room was hot. There was a fan that helped a little but I see why some people would have a problem with that. But still, knowing this isn’t a five star hotel, you get what you pay for which is pretty good :)

Room was basic but very clean. and comfortable. Very nice, modern bathroom which must have been upgraded very recently. Location of hotel was great being in the Old Town and very close to the railway station. The lady at reception was very helpful and efficient. Breakfast was good and substantial. The reception area had a water and coffee machine providing drink free of charge.

Would have liked to have had a TV in the room. No air conditioning but I knew this beforehand. So, it is a bit of a negative if staying there in height of summer. The room had a ventilator, though.

The cleanliness and the convenience. The hotel is strategically located within walking distance to Zurich main station and Zurich old town. Lots of good restaurants around.

I stayed there twice during my one week travel across Switzerland. My first stay we were accommodated at much bigger room so there’s place to place our suitcase. But my second stay, one week later, we were assigned a very tiny room with very limited space. We could hardly find a space to place our suitcase.

This hotel offers great value for money. The rooms are clean and functional. During my stay it was very hot and the fan provided did little to cool the room but those very hot days in Zurich are few and far between so i can only recommend more powerful fans. My room did look over the street with a bar on it which was noisy but i always travel with ear plugs. I note that the hotel provides ear plugs too. The location is superb. Very close to the main station and all that is near by the river. Breakfast was good.

Super friendly staff that could speak English. Elevator. Small fan in room. Ability to leave luggage at hotel after checkout for the day and still have access to power, communal area and toilet after checkout allowed stress free exploring of Zurich when only booked 1 night stay. Excellent location, centre of town sandwiched on all sides with the major tourist attractions and public transport. Had a European power adaptor (not Swiss, it's different!) but room had USB A outlets so was able to charge my phone and several shops within walking distance with a europe->Swiss adaptor.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. It's very easy to get to from the station, close to areas of interest and close to a supermarket. It also has level access, automatic doors at the entry and lift access - all important to me because I travel with a Travel Scoot. Hotel also lent me a much needed adapter - which I later purchased from them. You can't get the Swiss ones in NZ. I also loved the building design and appreciated the breakfast, given the high cost of food, and the always offered help from staff with my tray.

I was fortunate to have a corner, and therefore larger room, and don't know how I would have managed in a smaller room. Only suggestions I have are 1) that it would be good to have a night light!; 2) offer a part service option so that your rubbish bins can be emptied; 3) make it easier for guests to recycle.
