I loved this place so so much!! Possibly my favourite place I've ever stayed in Mexico, and I visit family there every few years. You're in the jungle, waking up to the sounds of motmot birds and howler monkeys, but with a huge comfortable bed, well lit pathways to your room and the restaurant, a hot shower and two beautiful cenotes. The staff are all so friendly and it seemed as if all the other guests were also there for a bit of peace and rest, so it was a very chilled place to be. We ended up changing our plans to just spend the day there as it has such a nice feel. And we saw spider monkeys up in the trees!

The breakfast was nice but quite basic, a bit more fruit or tortillas instead of white bread would've been nice - but maybe the bread is for the european tourists! The coffee wasn't very good and sometimes had run out by the time I went to get some.

Everything about this place is magical! Breakfast, lunch/snacks, drinks and evening food in there restaurant was great! The pod was everything you can expect, was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable with net around. Shower was great! There is hot water. The cenote’s were great spent most of our time in them watching the turtles, catfish and deer fish spa. The natura rescue was great our guide ceaser was great. And their cenote was unbelievable!! Staff were friendly!! And if you’re worrying about the bugs please don’t we spent two nights and sore a millipede on the path and that’s it. Obviously there’s lots of mosquitoes your in the jungle. So bring bug spray. Defo use the bikes and cycle into akumal we found a lovely restaurant tavern.

These are not bad points just needs improving - bring your own small travel fan to put in the bed area, there is a fan in the pod but the heat is unbearable still. - going back and too the sanctuary maybe use better transport

This was our best stay in mexico. Loved it. Everyone was super helpful. Note - Their Monkey Sanctuary is a different one from the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary. We didn't realise and booked the other one. Both do great work but I wish we had done the Akumal glamping one. ALSO book their Turtle trip. Again we missed their one but talking to them it sounds like it would have been amazing. Just say yes to the transport to beach option if you don't want to walk. Anyways ... these guys are so helpful and lovely and on-site restaurant was perfect. Another restaurant we liked at the beach was the bakery / cafe.

Was a little out of the town but only about 10 mins walk to town and 20 mins walk to the beach. I'm sure if you didn't want to do the walk they would help you with transport. Oh walking back after dark the road was unlighted. Our ph torch worked well for us but others may prefer to get transport.

Staff was extremely helpful and nice. you must do all activities they provide , worth the money, the experience and helping the rescue center and the entire concept . Best experience was without a doubt our tour with the guide Cesar around the park. Like the cesar salada he says. The best! The massage is also a must , 4 types of masssage in 1h30 with a topnoch massagist . food very tasty . we also took the to see turtles , booking via the the reception they provide a local and help the camping too. confort of the place is high considering its camping. cenotes in the park to swim.

The tents on the property are in a beautiful forest. We saw two Iguanas and monkeys. They also have two cenotes on site in which you can swim or even get a fish pedicure (try it - it's fun!). The staff was super friendly and eager to help. A small continental breakfast is included, which you can increase for a small price. Distance to Akumal is walkable. In general the area feels very safe (we walked to the village at night without any problems). They have moskito nets around the beds. I would stay there again.

The moskito nets were a bit stuffy but it felt good to have them (even though we didn't see many moskitos). My major negative point was definitely the man-made noise in the morning starting at around 7:00 (we heard leafblowers and other loud machinery), which kind of ruins the feeling of being in a piece of rainforest. There's also a construction site nearby but that should not be there for much longer (the train was already running when we were there and it was actually pretty quiet).

Loved staying in the glamping tents. We got to see monkeys, amazing birds, iguanas and bats. We also took the tour to the rescue centre which was excellent and included a stop in a gorgeous cenote. There are also 2 cenotes within the premises. One is being worked on but we could still go to submerge our feet for a "foot spa" with small fish (my feet never felt softer!) And the other one was great for a refreshing swim. I very much preferred staying here than somewhere by the very busy beach.

It was magical arriving in the dark & being led to our hut, the paths all lit up through the trees. The units are much more than tents & have en suite bathroom facilities, which is a first for me, even for glamping! This made a huge difference not having to find shoes, unzip the tent & trudge to the loos in the dark, as a result slept much better! Having a shower in the outside - but still totally enclosed attached was a luxury! Swimming in the cenote in the morning was very special & even a life jacket for children - which my daughter really appreciated as she had been rubbed badly the day before by being given an adults one. Free foot spa, see photo!! Breakfast is simple but delicious. I was worried by other reviews about noise from the construction of the new train, but I need not have, I heard no noise apart from the birds!

That the toaster for breakfast only had one side working - so only 2 out of 4, not enough & had to queue as a result.

I LOVED this place! So beautiful in nature, surrounded by trees, plants and animals. The cenote is beautiful where you can swim. The staff is super friendly and the breakfast that is included is simple but nice! You are secluded from nearby places but they provide bikes which is nice to tour around. I really didn’t want to leave this magical place!!

The mosquito net is too tight around the king size bed, so advise to get a bigger one.

It was so amazing to be surrounded by nature. We made some lovely iguana friends. Great news we didn't see that many bugs and it wasn't the worst place for mosquitos (go figure!) and for our 'giraffe' room the wifi was fantastic. The bathroom 'outside' had great hot water and water pressure and the room itself was spacious and clean. The mosquito net added extra security and the room can be blacked out so we slept really well until about 4/5 am when you hear the building site nearby. Free bikes and beautiful cenotes with a fish spa :)

1. Sadly the building site and trucks nearby are very loud, I woke up a few times thinking there's a storm outside. 2. On the check in day we weren't greeted with a smile, the girl seemed more annoyed and disturbed than anything else. 3. The breakfast, although free, was very limited. Fruit, juice, toast, yogurt, granola and jam. We had to keep asking for another pot of yogurt every morning (which was like two spoonfuls). I understand it creates less waste but we would hate to ask for more than 2 times.

Our stay in the jungle was absolutely amazing! We had the nature reserve tour just as we arrived and Ceaser our guide showed us all the rescued animals, we tasted a wild chilli plant and honey from bees on the grounds which was the best honey I have ever tasted, we stopped in the truck half way to the reserve to hold a wild tarantula which was in the road. All of the animals are all so well cared for here, we swam in a private Cenote with stalagmites and stalactites all around us, a truly magical experience and we even got to see fire flys at the end of our tour <3 truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! You 100% have to stay here! Also a continental breakfast was included which was really nice :) we only stayed for one night but wish we stayed for more as they do yoga here I think and also seeing turtles which we couldn’t do due to weather reasons but more of a reason to come back ;)

Nothing.
