The hotel and rooms were beautiful and comfortable. While there were no staff continuously onsite, they were responsive to needs and the housekeeper was so kind when he was onsite.

The outdoor area needs some work. There are boards that surround the pool as a walking surface that have deteriorated. When walking on them, one split and my foot went through it.

Situated within the Bahia Principe compound, PBBH is an original building with 7 rooms. There is an enclosed garden and a swimming poll; there are communal places (business/family room). It is about 2.5 km from the beach and there is a shuttle at our service. I liked the large room, with access to a terrace; the staff was simply superb. The place was always spotless. I liked that it is surrounded by vegetation and greenery. I also liked the beach club associated with Bahia Principe: nice setup, clean beach, good service. In short, an excellent place to relax, rest, and enjoy the water.

Not too much in terms of nearby facilities such as restaurants or shops; there is a need for more variety. Ideally, one would need to have a car to be able to explore more of the area around the property.

In such a facility and for the price you pay it is really strange that you have to pay 3 dollar for a nespresso coffee in your hotel room. One coffee a day per person should be included or be available at a normal price. We were lucky that it was not fully booked, but the building in itself is quite noisy, you can hear everything that is going on in the common parts.

They were doing renovations on the property so we were moved to an upgraded villa suite on a neighboring property so I can’t review the hotel itself but the villa we stayed at was gorgeous and very comfortable.

It’s very far from everything. You definitely need a car if you are staying here. You also have to go through a guarded gate every time you come back which isn’t the hotels fault but kind of annoying since you have to give your passport/ID each time. Also the pool did not seem super clean.

The staff is very attentive and accommodating! The accommodation felt very safe and secure in a great location.

The only thing we didn’t like is a few things were a bit run down and it’s not the most suitable for kids but other than that, everything was perfect

Beautiful villa set within the lovely Tulum Country Club property. Sandy, Leandro, and Raul made our stay - they were so kind and thoughtful, not only offering suggestions and arranging transportation, but also making sure we were very comfortable. Breakfast at the villa was delicious, and the on-property restaurant for dinner was wonderful! It was fun to stay within the lush and beautiful greenery, then either bike or golf cart ride to the beach. Definitely recommend!!

Just had the best stay ever! Check-in and check-out were a breeze, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The staff were amazing—so attentive and kind. My room? Absolutely stunning and spotless. Five stars all the way!

We have an absolute fabulous time, so we have no dislikes at all that we can recall.

Everything was perfect, excelent staff, great food, super comfortable beautiful room in a gorgeous modern villa. They have reasoneble prices for room service and the food in the restaurant is super delicious. They also have best conversion rates if you pay in US dollars that I have seen anywhere in mexico. Very refreshing for accomodation to be so hassle free, honest and without any hidden costs. I would totally reccomend anyone to stay here, especially if you are looking for complete stress free relaxation and comfort. They also offer free shuttle to the beach, but we enjoyed their pool even more than amazing beaches of Akumal.

Its a little slice of luxury made small. This does not apply to the rooms, beds or pool! The staff goes out of their way to accommodate the best possible experience with the food, communication and options for transportation to the beach and back.

There was a smell in the bathroom which according to the hotel is sadly part of water system in the area.
