I had traveled a long distance to Albuquerque for a conference in the hoteI. I needed a room with a bath tub somehow my request had not been seen when I booked, but once my daughter and I talked with the front desk and management they worked diligently to accommodate my need and moved us to a different room with a bath tub. I also accidently left my luggage at the hotel and didn't realize it for several hours. My luggage was kept at the office and was safe. When we called, the hotel reassured us that they had my luggage waiting for us. We felt relieved to know that the staff took such care of my luggage.

The pool/hot tub area was large with many lounge chairs for guests. The pool was great for families with younger kids because there wasn't a "deep" end (max 5 ft in the middle). Room was clean with great views of the mountains. Sawmill Market, which is a hip food court, is a short walk away.

While the hotel is "technically" in Old Town, we chose not to walk to the shops/restaurants because of the heat and people experiencing homelessness walking around. If I didn't have a young child in tow, I wouldn't have cared.

Great location to walk to Old Town as well as Sawmill for multiple restaurants. There is a beautiful fire place in the lobby to sit in front of. We had a beautiful view of hot air balloons taking off every morning out of our window plus a view of the mountain.

It was very loud in the hallway from the staff in the morning (starting at 6AM) and they had an event one night which filled the parking lot. People were extremely loud in the hallway all night. The walls are very thin. The shower was not very strong and there should be a fan in the bathroom as the door opens right into a bed.

This hotel is amazing. The staff always have smiles on their faces. They are always able to help out immediately. The beds are comfortable, the view from my room on the 10th floor was breathtaking, especially watching the 4th of July fireworks. The pool is comfortable with an ample amount of seating and another nice view. It's also so close to the Historical Plaza.

I just wish it cost a little less money but you get what you pay for and this place is fantastic.

The property itself and the location were great, as was the restaurant staff and the food. There were several highly rated restaurants and brewpubs within walking distance. The beds were quite comfortable and the room and bathroom had better lighting than any other hotel we’ve stayed in. I also appreciated the magnified mirror I found in the closet.

As mentioned by other reviewers, the shower never got warm enough to actually use, even after I let it run for 10 minutes at 6am on a weekday.

The character, grounds, and proximity to other things in walking distance: sawmill market and old town.

There are 2 elevators and one was broken the whole time. Then on one evening, the second one was out of order and we had to walk up 9 flights of stairs. I am glad that I am not disabled or had to carry my luggage. This would’ve been impossible. It was fixed by the morning. Hot tub needed to be skimmed/cleaned.

My room was very quiet and comfortable and had a wonderful view of the Sandias.

I wish the pool had been cleaned up quicker after the windstorm. I wanted to go for an evening swim, but the pool was filled with pine needles. I also wish the procedure to ask for a late check out was smoother. I requested a late check out the evening prior but was told it had to be the "day of" even though it was "first come, first served." So I called at 5:30AM and was told it had to be after 8:00AM. A lot of effort for one additional hour.

Gardens, fountains, interior decor, building, location, pool and hot tub - all were terrific. Restaurant LVL 5 was terrific.

Staff did not know the area; could not answer questions about getting to places or things to see that aren't the most obvious. But this was true at Sawmill, the national monument, and so forth. Or the history/background of things. Best to come prepared with your maps, routes, history of each place... LVL5 restaurant women's bathroom lights were not on in the stalls - very strange. Hostess knew exactly how to correct this, but we had already navigated in the dark - like camping.

I was very impressed with the staff at Hotel Albuquerque… who were welcoming, efficient and helpful…. A particular mention to Diana on the front desk who was very patient and kind The rooms are large and the air conditioning very necessary as temperatures were well in to the thirties The Qbar was a nice place to sit for a drink and the foyer areas very comfortable

I had an adjoining room, with noisy neighbours …. But that was not the hotel’s fault. There are many functions and occasions hosted well by Hotel Albuquerque…. Which does alter the ambience .

We met David, the executive housekeeping manager in the elevator and he introduced himself and inquired if we were happy with our room, which we appreciated. We had drinks and snacks at the bar during happy hour and the prices were reasonable and the waitress helpful in choosing drinks. Great location for the Old Town and Sawmill Market. Loved the robes in the room:)
