Beautiful interior with Native American decor. Pool and grounds were fantastic. Easy free parking. We would walk to Old Town to shop and eat and watch flamenco dancers in the plaza. The hotel itself had 2 nice art galleries, a Native American jewelry store, several bars, a rooftop restaurant. Just across the street was the Sawmill shops with dozens of options for food. And our room was delightful, with a balcony facing the Sandia Mts. We even saw some of the balloons past by from the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta!

It was very expensive to stay and eat/drink there. I’m glad we had options for meals in Old Town and the Sawmill.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent restaurant and rooftop area. Staff always pleasant and accommodating. Location super. Across street is Saw Mill, a collective of restaurants and venue for entertainment. If you don’t want to eat in the restaurant this is a great alternative within walking distance.

This time there was road work which made getting into the hotel using the main entry awkward. This will be over eventually and you can still access a large parking area behind the hotel. It’s just a little confusing to get into. Our room had a wide swing in temperature at night which disrupted our sleep. I had also requested a room on the inside of the hotel overlooking the courtyard which was not accommodated in spite of being told that it would be booked as I asked. Minor disappointment overall.

This is a beautiful property with very nice amenities including a large fitness center, a nice pool and hot tub, and several interesting shops. The room was well laid out and very quiet. The staff is great -- they are very helpful and accommodating.

We reserved a king balcony room, but our balcony was small and without any furniture. It had a solid railing rather than the glass one shown in the photos. Since the weather was cool, this did not matter much. I mention it just an FYI that not all "balconies" are the same at this property.

Service was incredible. Everyone was nice. The coffee bar attendant was nice but short. Service at the front desk was very attentive and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. We were on a road trip so we got in late, and unfortunately, only had bout 12 hours onsite. They gave us a late checkout and parking is included in the resort fee. I will 100% be back to fully indulge in this property.

Breakfast options were limited to room service. It wasn't super inconvenient but it would have been nice to have more options, as we got in late and slept later than the service was offered.

We had a great stay at Hotel Chaco! The young man who assisted us during our late check-in was extremely helpful. There was a hiccup that was completely my fault, but he was very professional and kind and resolved things quickly for us. After getting settled into our room, we then went up to the rooftop and ordered to go. The young lady who took our order actually brought our food to our room for us! She was so sweet! Our stay was so wonderful because of them! My husband and I only stayed for one night but will be sure to return to Hotel Chaco every time we're in Albuquerque.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The design, architecture, and decor throughout the hotel was extremely impressive and deserving of a 5-star rating, The grounds were well-maintained. Everything about the property was first-class!

It's probably due to my age and certainly not limited to this hotel, but I just prefer doors on bathrooms rather than sliding panels if I'm sharing the room with someone else. I can't call this a negative for this wonderful hotel,, just a personal pet peeve. Regardless, I would highly recommend the Chaco, and we look forward to our next opportunity to stay there!

Excellent rooms, gym, lobby. It is across the street from the Sawmill Market, which has a rich selection of food and is a lively place to hang out. The staff members were super friendly and helpful. It was our second stay there, and we were upgraded to a suite for no extra charge without requesting it, which was much appreciated.

The coffee in the room is sub-par. The hotel really needs to upgrade this because it is one of the pricier properties in Albuquerque. A Nespresso set up would be a huge improvement.

The location was great to be able to walk across the street to Sawmill Market. Room was comfortable, nice hot water. We needed a microwave and they brought one up to us, really nice!

The balcony floor was sticky and dirty. Fire alarm went off during our stay, we didn’t get any kind of information, would have been nice to have like automatic phone call with basic instructions like “please evacuate now” or “stay in place”

Excellent location with many eateries and shops within walking distance. The room itself was gorgeous and incredibly spacious. While not called a suite, it certainly bordered on suite amenities. The hotel boasts one of the most beautiful lobbies we have seen. The staff is incredibly gracious. Service, cuisine, and atmosphere in the restaurant were all exceptional. We were moved to a better table without requesting it, and were seated next to a celebrity finishing his meal, accompanied by his little dog. Exceptionally pet-friendly.

My experience at Hotel Chaco was the most top tier I have ever had. There is so much careful attention to detail. So many different textures on the walls! The grand entrance is breathtaking and there are a wide range of amenities that make you feel rejuvenated. I was blown away by the bedding. Every sheet was soft and crisp and the pillows were exactly what I needed for the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. The balcony is so intimate and I was able to see the mountains my view. It is right across the street from the Sawmill market which has a range of delicious options, but the resident chef at Chaco curated a well crafted menu. Every staff I met was warm and accommodating. If ever I end up back in Albuquerque, I will certainly rest my head at Hotel Chaco
