Lovely and peaceful location - 5/10 min walk to beach in one direction and same distance to Villasimius town where good selection of shops and restaurants. Staff very welcoming & helpful. Room, pool & communal areas excellent. The gardens are beautiful & lovingly cared for. Small fridge in room added bonus.

Hotel Mariposas was like a dream. Incredible scenery with the garden and pool view. The room was very comfortable and we loved sitting on our balcony. An easy walk to the beach, and a short drive to Porto Giunco beach! Also a short 10 minute walk into the main city which was great for dinner in the evenings. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the hotel bar as well. The breakfast was delicious! We will most definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at Mariposas Hotel in Villasimius, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their warmth and professionalism were evident in every interaction, making us feel like valued guests from the moment we arrived. The food at Mariposas was nothing short of spectacular. Each meal was a delightful culinary journey, with fresh, local ingredients artfully prepared and presented. Whether it was breakfast by the pool or a more formal dinner, the quality and flavor of the dishes exceeded our expectations. Speaking of the pool, it was a true highlight of our stay. The setting was serene and beautifully maintained, offering the perfect place to unwind and soak up the Sardinian sun. The pool area was spacious, with plenty of comfortable loungers, and the water was crystal clear. In summary, Mariposas Hotel is a gem in Villasimius. With amazing staff, incredible food, and a stunning pool, it’s the perfect destination for anyone looking to relax and indulge in the beauty of Sardinia. We can’t wait to return!

Fabulous friendly oasis of calm. For all ages definitely the best place in the area, I almost want to keep it to myself!

Excellent, welcoming service from the time of check-in and throughout. Tasty breakfast served each morning. The hotel has a high end charm with personable service. Simius beach is a mere 5 min walk with restaurants and charming cafes. The town, a mere 10 min stroll, is a buzz of activities, busy shops, bars & restaurants - day & night adds to the fun, holiday atmosphere. Hotel is perfectly situated to explore all parts of Villasimius. Public transport is available although car rental is definitely the best option for day trips.

Noisy group of friends/adults talking, screaming too loud. In the swimming pool, at the breakfast, in the seating area. Like a grown up kids first time away on holidays. This hotel is quiet. It's a boutique, family hotel with a relaxing atmosphere. You want to party wild? Go somewhere else, please :))

A beautiful and tranquil setting. The garden set up around the pool is really lovely. We came with our 1 year old, and the surroundings were perfect, with the beach a 5 minute walk. Lunch is lovely on the terrace, as is breakfast and the staff paid special attention to our daughter who had an allergy. I’d also say restaurants locally are really nice, friendly and were accommodative. Our room was perfect really, a seperate bedroom for our child, and a nice balcony for us to chill out.

The pool is a bit too cold for really little kids, but apart from that it’s beautiful!

Our second visit to this lovely little hotel, 10 years later and very happy to report it hasn't changed! It is in the perfect location between the beach and the town, the staff are so delightful and helpful, great breakfast, stunning gardens and lovely rooms.
