I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Fortuna and would def. visit again. The hotel had a lovely pool area, room and hotel were clean and had everything I needed. Same with the breakfast. The area of the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The balcony with sea view was worth every penny. Such a beautiful view!

The only thing you need to know about this area is, that you are a little lost/stuck there without a car or scooter or anything. There are two little shops directly next to the hotel,where you can buy water and drinks and fruits and some food , but depending on how long you stay, it is with to go shopping in Hvar and then take some food etc with you.

Just a beautiful family run hotel. They asked me before I got there if there was a reason for our travel and I mentioned it was my husband and my 20th Wedding Anniversary when we got there our bed was decorated in a heart shaped rose petals and we were given a bottle of champagne. All the staff for lovely and friendly. This was a simple lovely hotel with a lot of heart. Also they offered a complimentary airport drop off service for our departure.

My only issue was we had to pay an outside guy to hire sunlounges on the beach Euro20 each. I would have liked the hotel to have a deal for its customers at a cheaper rate especially as the beach is literally at its doorstep

We LOVED the location, right on the beach, stunning view and great swimming! Many good restaurants around. We also loved using the pool for the baby to swim. Lounge chairs and shade on the deck. Hotel staff were very friendly and made us feel extra welcome on our arrival as it was a special occasion and were always there when we needed something throughout our stay! We appreciate the complimentary transfer from and to the ferry dock for arrival and departure. It made it very smooth and stress free. Breakfast being included also helped when traveling with a baby. Whatsapp message to get cocktails delivered to the pool was another bonus. We relaxed the entire time we were there. Also nice having the room cleaned and refreshed everyday.

If you don’t have a car, it’s a bit hard to explore the island. The hotel has a deal with a local taxi to do 18€ transfers to Hvar town. We just stayed local as the 2 beaches were stunning and restaurants were amazing, especially Gostiona Milina right next door and Gostianica Mala Milna at the beach around the corner.

We loved staying at this family run property! The staff were so lovely, and made us feel so incredibly welcome!! The hotel overlooks Milna beach, so location is perfect, and we preferred staying in quiet Milna, rather than Hvar, which was a quick drive away. We also did the coastal walk and beach hopped one day, all the way to Hvar, easy to start from the hotel. Breakfast was included and was a great buffet, which you could take outside overlooking the water. There’s also lots of cute restaurants along the tiny strip, not all of them were open because the season started 3 days before our arrival, but I imagine in peak season it’s more of a vibe. Our balcony was the best part of our hotel room and it was hard to pry ourselves away from the view. If you’re a couple or family craving something more quiet and less busy than Hvar, then this is the spot!!

Where to start? Staff is exceptional — focus and dedication to comfort and satisfaction of clients are exemplary. Josipa, Mario, Marko, Martin and others from whom I did not obtain names were so helpful in providing recommendations to beaches, hikes, restaurants and sights to see — and why they recommended such — that my wife and I felt like a local guide was accompanying us in person on our island of Hvar adventure. The hotel’s location is a close taxi ride away from Hvar town yet removed enough that out-the-front door beaches are uncrowded. Our room, 302, had a small balcony with table and chairs that was so pleasant in the morning or afternoon. The outdoor pool area was also quite nice; lots of padded lounges with large umbrellas next to a large pool in a quiet zone behind the front of the hotel. Dining options at the hotel restaurant were plentiful as were the seating arrangements — fully inside, inside with open windows or outside with umbrellas. Hotel was very clean and the bathroom had a truly great shower — much appreciated after an ocean swim! Complimentary transport from and to the ferry was included for our stay.

Not a thing — our only regret is not being able to stay longer.

We absolutely loved Hotel Fortuna and its location in Milna. The staff were all fantastic, friendly, and helpful. Our kids even left belongings at breakfast and the team held on to them and got them back to us the next morning without us asking. We so appreciated being connected with Damjan (driver) who drove our group of 6 back and forth to the city at an affordable price at any time we needed. The pool was wonderful and the perfect temperature (much appreciated with heatwave during our stay). The beach is so nice and much cleaner than some of the others closer to town. It was easy and affordable to rent chairs and an umbrella (no need to go out super early in the morning to get them).

We appreciated the option and convenience to get drinks delivered to the pool from the hotel bar but unfortunately they weren’t great. We found the cocktails at the tiki bar across the beach to be better quality.

This hotel is ideal for a relaxing getaway, offering a complete vacation experience with breakfast, swimming, and dinner. The beach and breakfast are truly exceptional. The beach was uncrowded, and the sea was crystal clear—perfect for a peaceful day by the water. The hotel's restaurant boasts an exclusive menu, offering a variety of delectable dishes. We enjoyed every meal we had. The hotel itself was spotless, with immaculate rooms and facilities. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly kind and polite, making our stay even more enjoyable.

You need to use car or taxi to reach to Hvar city and Stari Grad.

I almost have no words to describe our stay in hotel Fortuna. Everything was flawless from start to end, all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their faces. The beach right in front of the hotel was also something else. The room was very comfortable and the balcony with the sea view is one of the highlights of our trip to Croatia and Hvar. The restaurant was very good as well, we loved everything that we ate there :) The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise with lots and lots of options! Thank you again for the amazing stay. We hope to come back really soon!

Absolutely superb family run hotel. The owners and staff are amazing, the whole hotel is spotlessly clean. We booked a comfort room with sea view and balcony, the room was lovely, comfortable bed, mini fridge, two tv’s, air conditioning, nice bathroom great shower. Food is excellent and not over priced. Stunning location, The swimming pool area has very nice sunbeds and parasols, during our stay on two afternoons we had the whole pool area to ourselves. The hotel is over the road from the beach and also has a small restaurant area on the beach side of the road which is lovely for breakfast, lunch and supper or just to have a drink and chill out whilst taking in the stunning views

This family hotel was really cozy with all you need, comfortable rooms, extremely good food and with the best service I have ever experienced. I paid for laundry and they even hang it up in the room for me. They had free shuttle to the harbour and worked with a taxi guy called Damjan who we texted with through WhatsApp, and he drove us back and forth to town every day at a cheaper sum than ordinary taxi. Milna beach was also really nice
