My stay at Riva Marina Hvar was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel is located only steps away from the ferry disembarkment which made for a seamless transfer as well as a great view of boats coming in and out of the harbor. Despite the proximity, I also found it to be quite peaceful during my stay. The room was excellent, the amenities updated and cleanliness top notch. Above all, the staff was absolutely wonderful from the front desk to the meal service but particularly the gentleman who aided me with my luggage. It is a team of consumate professionals who go above and beyond for their clients. I won't hesitate to stay here again when I return to beautiful Hvar.

The location was perfect, a short walk to the main square. The breakfast was fantastic, one of the best we’ve had in our travels to any country. The staff were really friendly and attentive. When we arrived we were welcomed with a glass of fizz, which was needed with it being 32 degrees! We stayed for my birthday and they all were wishing me happy birthday and they gave me a piece of cake to celebrate with at breakfast.

The only trade off was room sizes, they are ‘cosy’ but fine for a short stay.

The location of the Riva Marina could be any more convenient for the fairies is literally on the Harbour where the ferries dock, the down side of that is it is extremely busy all the time in front of the hotel, sometimes a little chaotic, which I feel the staff also struggle with at times. The room was very well appointed, however the bedrooms are a little too small, even though we had a suite with separate lounge area, the bedroom part was far too tight around the bed, bathroom was perfect. Breakfast at the Riva Marina, was hit & miss, visually it looked amazing, the indoor dining area is stunning, & the buffet style display is picture perfect, although it ends there. The coffee is bad, a really bad tasting blend, or maybe it was the water they make it with, we had to keep sending the coffee back. A great choice cooked breakfast menu but not great execution, something definitely lacking in the kitchen. Add to this the fact that the staff can cope with the amount of people that are coming in just for breakfast , while waiting for there ferries, its just frustrating.

Size of bedroom area, far too small. Service at breakfast, & far too busy. Oh yes the music was like going back in time, all 80 music, just didn't fit the location, not a good vibe. They need some chilled tunes on.

When I booked this hotel, I expected something nice because of the price and all the lovely reviews that I read beforehand. But I never could have imagined what an amazing stay we would have. Our trip started off great with the lovely transfer team that got us to the hotel. We were then greeted by such a friendly team of staff who got us checked in. Our room was absolutely fantastic! A sea view with such comfy beds! The breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Good food and really friendly staff. We also ventured over to the ‘Adriana’ one of their partner hotels to use the pool and the experience did not falter. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I genuinely could not recommend this place more!

I could not come up with one bad thing to say about this place!

Very nice but small rooms:10x15, part of which is taken up by built in closets and desk. Plus Narrow hallway to door & bathroom. Fancy coffee maker & refrig/bar. Bathroom is large, with 6' marble countertop (yay!) and 3' square shower with a long shelf (yay again!). Nice under-counter lighting is nice at night - provides glow for finding the restroom without lighting up the whole bedroom.. Very helpful staff. Room Service Available! You can put suitcases under the bed. Soundproof to street, with lovely views of water & yachts!

Room was small, especially with 2 suitcases. Hallway was noisy, due to marble staircase & elevator lobby. We had to put a towel under our door at night.

The Hotel was Fantastic, when we arrived by ferry we were met by a porter who brought our bags straight to the Hotel which was only a very short walk from the marina. The hotel was spotless, very comfortable, and totally soundproof. Breakfast was amazing with fresh produce and friendly service.Hvar is a special place, and The Riva Marina is a top-class hotel. We will definitely be back again.

There is nothing that could be improved.

The hotel exudes quality and service from the moment you step inside. Nothing is too much for the staff attending your needs. Everything is exquisite, clean, done to perfection. Absolutely fabulous.

Rooms are on the small size. There is limited space to hang clothes, store suitcases, even hang towels after a shower. This feels like a hotel where you stay for 2 nights, longer would feel cramped.

Our stay was sensational, the facilities, breakfast, location and staff were all fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable - they even surprised me with a birthday cake! The rooms are small but very luxurious. It was also a nice surprise to have access to a pool, gym and rooftop bar at their sister hotel just a short walk away.

Initially I was worried about having the cruise ships (small) docked in front of the hotel but we didn’t hear a thing.

Lovely modern hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and it’s in an excellent location. WiFi works well. Good amenities- coffee machine, mini bar, toiletries, complimentary wine, chocolate and biscuits

The room was very small - we didn’t have space to leave our case open or store our case. There were stains in the furniture (looked like coffee stains but wouldn’t come out) and general wear and tear in the room.
