The location of the Riva Marina could be any more convenient for the fairies is literally on the Harbour where the ferries dock, the down side of that is it is extremely busy all the time in front of the hotel, sometimes a little chaotic, which I feel the staff also struggle with at times. The room was very well appointed, however the bedrooms are a little too small, even though we had a suite with separate lounge area, the bedroom part was far too tight around the bed, bathroom was perfect. Breakfast at the Riva Marina, was hit & miss, visually it looked amazing, the indoor dining area is stunning, & the buffet style display is picture perfect, although it ends there. The coffee is bad, a really bad tasting blend, or maybe it was the water they make it with, we had to keep sending the coffee back. A great choice cooked breakfast menu but not great execution, something definitely lacking in the kitchen. Add to this the fact that the staff can cope with the amount of people that are coming in just for breakfast , while waiting for there ferries, its just frustrating.

Size of bedroom area, far too small. Service at breakfast, & far too busy. Oh yes the music was like going back in time, all 80 music, just didn't fit the location, not a good vibe. They need some chilled tunes on.

When I booked this hotel, I expected something nice because of the price and all the lovely reviews that I read beforehand. But I never could have imagined what an amazing stay we would have. Our trip started off great with the lovely transfer team that got us to the hotel. We were then greeted by such a friendly team of staff who got us checked in. Our room was absolutely fantastic! A sea view with such comfy beds! The breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Good food and really friendly staff. We also ventured over to the ‘Adriana’ one of their partner hotels to use the pool and the experience did not falter. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I genuinely could not recommend this place more!

Very nice but small rooms:10x15, part of which is taken up by built in closets and desk. Plus Narrow hallway to door & bathroom. Fancy coffee maker & refrig/bar. Bathroom is large, with 6' marble countertop (yay!) and 3' square shower with a long shelf (yay again!). Nice under-counter lighting is nice at night - provides glow for finding the restroom without lighting up the whole bedroom.. Very helpful staff. Room Service Available! You can put suitcases under the bed. Soundproof to street, with lovely views of water & yachts!

Room was small, especially with 2 suitcases. Hallway was noisy, due to marble staircase & elevator lobby. We had to put a towel under our door at night.

Our stay was sensational, the facilities, breakfast, location and staff were all fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable - they even surprised me with a birthday cake! The rooms are small but very luxurious. It was also a nice surprise to have access to a pool, gym and rooftop bar at their sister hotel just a short walk away.

Initially I was worried about having the cruise ships (small) docked in front of the hotel but we didn’t hear a thing.

Beautiful hotel with great room. The cost of a sea facing room with a balcony was worthwhile. The rooms were spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the hotel Breakfast choices were first class, albeit it would have been good to have better croissants and fresh fruit cocktail without having to ask The double glazing kept all noises outside and a/c was perfect

Manage noise in corridors late at night While breakfast was perfect, it was a shame you had to ask for many items from the waiter Obviously boat arrivals determine the flow at check in. It was a shame that you could check in advance

Great location! Pretty much directly in front of the ferry stop so didn’t have to carry slot of luggage around. Less than 2 minute walk into the town of Hvar where there were lots of accessible bars and restaurants. The hotel was designed very well and with comfort in mind, the beds were so comfortable! The breakfast included in the price was possibly one of the best hotel breakfasts that I have experienced due to quality and varied range of food. Riva Marina doesn’t have a pool but we were able to access the sister hotel (approximately 10-15 walk along the marina/beach) to use their swimming pool and facilities at no extra cost. As hotel guests we were given 15% off the club bar too

Everything was wonderful.

Lovely modern hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and it’s in an excellent location. WiFi works well. Good amenities- coffee machine, mini bar, toiletries, complimentary wine, chocolate and biscuits

The room was very small - we didn’t have space to leave our case open or store our case. There were stains in the furniture (looked like coffee stains but wouldn’t come out) and general wear and tear in the room.

Everything. The location couldn't have been any better, it was perfect. We stepped off the boat onto the beautiful marina and Riva Marina was less than a minute's walk, located close by to the main square, Carpe Diem Bar, local facilities, etc. The rooms had a nice modern design and were kept cool for our arrival, the beds were super comfortable. The staff deserve a mention as were all extremely polite, professional and happy to assist us with any advice we sought. Everything runs cohesively between the teams here. Finally, the breakfast and food served at BB Club was of an excellent standard. 10/10.

We had a truly unforgettable experience at the Riva Marina hotel, we were welcomed and made to feel completely at home from the very start, with nothing too much of a demand to sort whenever we needed help. The hotel has a beautiful boutique feel and matches the charm of the island perfectly. Being on the harbour means it’s a 100m walk from the ferry or a boat. Breakfast was fabulous. Also not noted until we got there was the fact that you can use the facilities of the Adriana hotel across the harbour, and the restaurant has incredible views there. Nothing could have been better and the stay was magical, I hope we can return again soon!

Absolutely nothing needed improving.

Amazing location! A minute walk from the boat drop off and a short walk to everything else! It was classy and beautiful. We had a balcony on the first floor and it was amazing. At night, even though we were right above the bar/restaurant, as soon as you close that balcony door, it's silent! It's pretty impressive to cut out that much noise!

The beaches are too far away to walk, but it's a good excuse to rent a scooter!
