Hotel was very clean, there were always staff cleaning, both in the restaurant and around the pool. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Tables were cleared quickly. Our room had a sea view (which is what we paid for) and it was well worth it, really beautiful. We had a small balcony which was lovely in the evening. The pool did not seem very large in the photos however it was perfect. There were a selection of sunbeds including double bed type and ones with canopies. We came down to the pool at different times and could always get a sunbed. This was one of the best aspects of the hotel, nothing worse than having to scramble for a place by the pool. There was a small bar in the pool area which served drinks and food. We ate lunch there every day, simple food but good value and tasty. The bar staff were fantastic. Service was very good, they worked so hard and kept the pool area clean and tidy. There were a couple of stag parties in the hotel during our stay but they were no trouble. We didn’t hear them at night and we were near the front of the hotel. The hotel is about 10/15minutes from the centre of town. There is a hill and a number of steps so probably not suitable if you have mobility difficulties.

Very little, but there is very little storage for clothes in the room. Obviously room sizes can’t be changed but perhaps a few hooks on the wall behind the door would help.

The location is just perfect, close to the city center, the beach, and some really nice beach clubs. Our room was super comfortable and clean, and the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and the hotel surprised us with a cake and a sweet handwritten card. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special. He loved it and so did I! The pool area is amazing, great vibe, perfect for relaxing with a drink in hand while listening to some good music. It truly felt like a holiday. The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options. All the staff members were incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel has everything you need it’s complete. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back again.

The only downside was the unexpected €100 deposit on the credit card at check-in. I understand it’s a standard procedure for damage protection, but it wasn’t clearly mentioned during the booking process, so it caught us by surprise.

The view was great…. If you are not great at walking up steps /hill. It is a long trek up to hotel . Pool area nice. Rooms nice and clean. Quite small though. But good value for the cost. Breakfast had a good selection. Great hotel for groups. Would stay again . 😊

Amazing people are working there! Everyone was supper nice. Room was amazing with beautiful view. Clean and tidy. Breakfast were included and it was tasty, I noticed there are great variety of food you can chose for breakfast. Location is great as well 10 min till town center. Only issues it is when you are walking towards to hotel you are walking bit up hill, but with a great view. Nice bonus is restaurant for lunch and dinner in the hotel was chipper than places in the city center (still tasty) which was very convenient if you don’t want to go to the center and stay by the pool.

Only issue was with the bed. They put 2 mattresses in one big platform and because the platform didn’t have any frames mattresses were constant moving.

Great pool with music playing throughout the day. Plenty of sunbeds. The location is great, a short walk into the town. Recommend renting mopeds from the hotel, they have a recommended route that leads to beautiful beaches and great views. The staff are really friendly and service is always quick. Our room overlooked the pool and sea which was much nicer than the ones facing the back.

I read it was popular with stag do’s, only saw 1 but they took over the pool on the Saturday being very noisy and drunk and mocking other guests. Also woken up in the night by drunk men having a party next door. It’s not the most relaxing place.

The hotel is set in a beautiful location surrounded by pines with superb views of the ocean. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble on arrival and delivered a truly amazing customer experience for my family - a huge thank you to Kocha, Andrea, Tea and Kristina who really went the extra mile to make our vacation perfect! The Pool area is clean with plenty of space/ beds and loungers, surrounded by olive trees, rosemary bushes and vegetation. The Pool bar served a good selection of drinks, local beer on draught and provided a wide selection of high quality pool food. The bar area provides a good selection for familes with young children also, ice creams and slush machine for the youngsters. Our room was an ocean view with balcony, great views. Room size was adequate for 2 people, decor was minimal and uncluttered, with a good stocked mini bar. Breakfast was buffet style with selection of juices, good coffee machine and variety of cold food (cheeses, local meats, hams and fresh fruits, salad items, great selection of breads and rolls), hot buffet also provided a great choice of eggs, sausages, bacon etc The lobby area is very relaxed, with an open covered area to relax with views to the swimming pool, chilled background music was relaxing for breakfast and down time. The hotel is a short walk to the ocean and coastal path which has a variety of fantastic beach bars/ clubs dotted along the route. The water was crystal clear, clean and perfect for snorkelling and swimming with easy access to ocean via steps or ladders into the sea. The Car rental Real Hvar at the hotel were superb - Ante and his team provided a superb service to us and nothing was too much trouble, very friendly, helpful and will definitley use again - thank you also for your friendliness and amazing service!! To sumise - we had an amazing stay at Pharos, cannot wait to return!

Be aware there are no lifts at hotel, this didn't affect us as we have a younger family, this isn't a dislike as such, just an awareness as bags will need to be carried up stairs if rooms are on higher levels.

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with swimming pool as the epicenter: comfortable rooms, terrace with cafe-restaurant (excellent chef!), friendly and efficient personnel. In the rooms fridge, large-screen TV, strong and stable wifi.

Have not found anything which could still be improved.

Excellent location, modern and clean. Large rooms with nice balcony. Lovely, fresh breakfast, wide range to choose from and plenty of food. Clean pool area with good pool bar and always lots of sun beds. Nice beach close by.

Not an issue for ourselves but no lifts.

The location of the property (walking distance to Hvar town) along with having a lovely pool & sun loungers, as well as being close to the coast, was a perfect combination! The breakfast was lovely with loads of choice and fresh food. Staff were super helpful and friendly.

Generally we liked everything, but I think the room was maybe a little small and there wasn’t any coffee or tea making facilities in our room which we would have liked (but the fridge was great). The mattress and bathroom could also do with a bit of an upgrade. Also, getting to the property with large suitcases was a nightmare as it’s up a steep hill, especially in 30 degree heat! We weren’t told that there was an option to have our bags collected from the ferry port - something we very much wished we knew! Luckily we used the service on the way home but, this service should be made much clearer, especially for first time guests.
