Wow what an amazing hotel! Perfect for children and families, pool and slides where fun and my eldest loved kids club where he felt happy and safe. There is so much to do at this hotel and the villa’s are beautiful. The buffet food was some of the best I’ve had at a hotel and there was plenty to choose from. There is a taxi boat a short walk down to the harbour that takes you to the old town for just 2€ (kids are free) we loved doing this! The surrounding area is simply stunning. Would highly recommend if you are thinking of booking.

The buffet did get chaotic and very busy. This whole area could do with being bigger for the amount of guests you have.

Exceptional stay with kids. The staff made our stay very comfortable with their focus to keep children entertained and amused during entire day. Special thanks to the staff in the playroom, the girls made their best effort keeping the venue safe and engaging environment. We are getting back in July once more.

The issue with the bad smell from the bathroom was reported to the staff.

Big number of local, loud people on the resort pool. I don’t mind locals on a beach, but if you pay for big money for expensive resort it is simply not fair to let so many people in for free, on the hotel facilities. I have never seen that on any resort. I felt like a fool. Why not to take cheap apartment close to resort, and simply walk in to use the facilities for free? On the other hand, hotel guests do pay 10 eur for a sun bed on beach, while locals are for free on the pool in resort with very serious prices. Lot of cats in a restaurant, it is not good from hygiene point, not to mention that some people are allergic, there should be at least one cat free corner of the restaurant.

This resort has it all and is perfect for families, be it the smallest ones or more grown-up kids (adults will love it too). The resort is eco-friendly, so there's that. The staff is amazing. As I came to breakfast the first morning, I stood there somewhat bewildered as to what was what. But lo and behold. A member of the staff asked if they could show me around. I've never experienced that before. It was not that I got escorted through the lavish buffet, but that the waiter noticed my predicament and acted on it. That is something of note. The food was great, loads of variety. Grilled fish, meat and vegetables, and, of course, easy stuff for the kids such as pizza, etc. And please, try their local wine. It's truly worth it And the place was clean. There was absolutely nothing that bothered me in that regard. Last but not least: beds and pillows were so comfortable. I really didn't want to get out of bed. Also, there is a short walk 1½ km/1 mile to a store close by if you need something. After that, just a few more steps into a beautiful town that dates at least back to 300 BC. Tl;dr: Choose this resort for your vacation. It's well worth your time and hard earned money.

There was nothing not to like!

Everything was perfect! - beautiful place which was not crowded in June and close to the lovely center of Stari Grad - villas are equipped with everything you need with great relaxing opportunities on the terrace - great kid's club with many rooms and great toys and very friendly staff - super entertainment program for adults (aqua aerobic, bicycle, kayaking) and for children (especially mini disco) - delicious food, great choice - staff is really amazing, especially Dušan (sports) and Yunanta (waiter) - super swimming pools and slides - love also the environmental aspects (solar energy, wood and stones used in villas in ok)

There is no single thing that comes to my mind... just a nuance, but an improvement would be to have the same children toilet seat near a swimming pool (used also during breakfast and dinner) that was available in villas and kid's club.

Hotel is new, services are really good. Some of the stuff were really friendly, like Ante in the dining area.

During check-out day, guests are requested to take their luggage out of the room before 9 am so that they are moved from the villa to the luggage room. We did that and left our backpacks in the room to take breakfast. This was communicated in the reception upon check-out, but after we went back to our room, our stuff was not anymore, and the cleaning service was already preparing the room for the next guests. Although nothing was misisng, we felt vandalized and that our privacy was not respected.

Kids had a fabulous time, loved the breakfast and dinner options, great slides in the children pool, nice beach area for the grown ups. Really lovely kids gaming room (at kids club) . Comfy room and beds. Overall a good relaxing time for the whole family.

A fee things that could be improved from my perspective: No adult swimming pool - the pools (baby, toddler and family) are all on the same level and mostly joined up. Weird configuration where car park is in between pool area and pods. Also there is another Valamar resort right next to amicor, but they have a separate pool and restaurant area. One single restaurant - there is a nice range of options but it is somewhat limited vs other resorts No free transfer from hotel to main city (stari grad). Count 25eur to go to ferry and 55 eur to go to main hvar town. A bit secluded from main hvar town (count 30mns to go there)

I would absolutely recommend this property for younger families! The waterpark was a huge hit with the kids, as was the evening magic show!! We enjoyed time at the pool and even we for a swim at the resorts beach. Our package was inclusive of dinner and breakfast (both buffet) and was a completely amazing selection of foods (definitely something for both the adults and children). No chance to lose weight on this trip!!

Not sure if the Resort operates a shuttle to-from Stari Grad Port, but a free service for guests would definitely define the total experience from arrival to departure. If arriving by ferry (without a car) it's too far to walk to and from the ferry port. Luckily there are plenty of taxi's that coordinate themselves around ferry arrival and departure times.

We came without kids this time, but we would love to come back with them because it’s so kids friendly. Lot of stuff for kids to do and see, staff were helpful for everything we asked from them. Breakfast is excellent and there’s a lot of choices, also for dinner. Villa was great, the whole resort is very clean and green. Pools are great and the sea is right there too.

Only the pillows as they’re too soft for me.

Perfect location, everything is immaculate and well presented. Amazing staff who can’t do enough to help. The food is exceptional. One of our best hotel stays ever and we have been in a few. It was my birthday while we were there - I was given a complementary bottle of prosecco and had happy birthday sung to me at dinner by all the staff. Thank you!!
