Room was clean. Staff was great. Pool stay was beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast choices were more than fine and lunch tasted great. Hvar can get VERY loud at night in the summer with all the partying going on and this was a 15 minute walk from the busy marina. Much more quiet. If you want a more relaxed, pool like atmosphere, stay here. You can always walk to town for lunch, dinner or excursions (which we did almost every day).

Pool staff were not very attentive. Nice, but just not around much. Most of the guests had to find a staff member to order a drink or get a menu. For the price of a room here the service everywhere should be top notch. Rooms were clean but a little smaller and my balcony door did not open all the way as it was next to my night table. I barely got out. They greeted us with a basket of fruit upon arrival but unfortunately only the banana and oranges were edible. Just getting picky here but the hallway carpets also need a refresher. Probably not quite a 5 star hotel but maybe a 4.5.

I cannot emphasize how much we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Moeesy! The staff is friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. The facilities are immaculate and stunningly gorgeous. The pool area was ideal - we loved swimming, lounging, and having drinks by the pool. We also loved the easy access to the beach area! The location of this hotel is perfect. We came for part of our honeymoon and are not into the party scene, and since this hotel is located a few minutes walk away from the old town (there is a beautiful walking path you can use), we didn't have to listen to disco music all night (a complaint we heard about from friends who stayed in the Old Town). We also loved that our staff helped bring our luggage to and from the port, making it very relaxing to get to and from our next destination. Everything about this hotel was incredibly wonderful and special. I cannot recommend it enough and I cannot wait to go back!

Probably a minor issue, but the F&B could be improved. The drinks menu was extremely limited. A larger and more imaginative cocktail list would be appropriate, the Aperol Spritz was mixed with something less than your normal Prosecco and it was strange that mixers cost more than the spirits. A coffee machine in the rooms would have been nice, but the restaurant did have a great one downstairs during breakfast. All very small points though and did not detract from a wonderful stay.

Beautiful setting and lovely finishes throughout. The location is lovely, a walk from the centre but we liked this as it was very peaceful. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Kristina at reception went above and beyond to help us on our honeymoon, thank you so much.

Hotel is almost brand new and everything was gorgeous. Perfect location in a quieter area of Hvar town, just a 10 minute stroll on the waterfront promenade to Hvar port. Room was fabulous with a large outdoor terrace, robes, fresh towels daily, bed was really comfortable. Lovely pool area with plenty of chairs, also fitness and spa facilities. We had a large amount of laundry to do after being on a cruise for a week and the max laundry charge was only 30 euros, plus it was cleaned and returned within hours. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Kristina at the front desk.

Bar area was a bit too well lit, which is a shame because it was beautiful, ambient lighting would be so much more welcoming.

My wife and I chose Moeesy for part of our honeymoon and are very happy we did. It was the best hotel we stayed at in Croatia. The location is very convenient, roughly a 15 minute walk into the center of the port/town, while being in a quiet area. Breakfast was delicious, varied, and the pear puree chia pudding is fantastic - as are the omellettes. The rooms are high quality with comfortable beds, and definitely have a premium feel. What's most stand out about this hotel is the staff. They are extremely friendly, kind, and well trained. Kristina - the concierge - is a real asset to the hotel. She was very kind to us and offered advice on things to do, restaurants worth visiting, and my wife and I really enjoyed our conversations with her. 10/10 worth it.

Words cannot describe the beauty of this hotel. The moment you set foot on its grounds, you are welcomed by the friendliest people on earth, (the gorgeous views are a plus). Once you are there, you will never want to leave. The hotel is well maintained and spotless. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast includes wide varieties (with a fantastic -and super friendly- egg station chef). The pool area is beautiful, and you can directly access a beach right in front of the hotel. Walking from and to the hotel from the center of Hvar is lovely and enjoyable (20 smooth minutes). But the hotel staff are the reason our stay was perfect. Kristina and Mia from reception, Dino, Nikola, Sara, and Marco from the pool bar, the gentleman who carried our luggage, the entire breakfast staff, and the house-keeping team (sorry I could not remember everyone’s names).. They all worked relentlessly to make us feel welcomed. These people know how to personalize your stay, and they will do anything to put a smile on your face.

Our experience at this hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The location is ideal, just a short 10-minute walk from the old town. The hotel itself is stunning, with impressive facilities that include a pool offering breathtaking views and a well-equipped gym—something you don’t often find in hotels. The food was consistently excellent, and the breakfast in particular was a real highlight. Our room was spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was not only professional but also genuinely warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Kristina at reception and Roman and Nikola in the restaurant, but honestly, every staff member went above and beyond to ensure we had an outstanding stay. Their smiles and dedication made all the difference. Highly recommended!

Excellent location, 10 min walk from old city center. Hotel was modern but with charm and was quiet and clean. Spacious breakfast room, pool and lounging area. Friendly and professional staff. Really appreciated the luggage pickup from the ferry terminal so we could enjoy the walk to the hotel. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

My husband and I loved the property, staff, and service so much that we extended our stay an extra week! It was definitely a 5-star experience. The hotel is what made the entire trip to Hvar incredible. Sara made such a creative surprise customized to my husband’s preferences for his birthday. Nikola was very kind, funny, and always put a smile on our faces. Marko, Dino, and Kristina were also wonderfully kind and courteous to us. I got to meet the director as well, who was very kind. Overall, the experience was unforgettable because of the wonderful people who work there. They will forever be in our hearts. We will definitely return! We love Hotel Moeesy.

My husband and I love to see everyone happy and comfortable. A couple of the staff members had beautiful tattoos they were expected to cover out of respect for the guests, but my husband and I would prefer to see them comfortable and happy, as the tattoos were not offensive whatsoever. We travel all around the world, and we love tattoo art!
