If you prefer getaway from loud city streets it is perfect spot. Almost private beach, BBQ area and nice views are all you get. Hosts are 24/7 attentive and can help you with anything

it is bit offhand that you need to drive off road for 20 mins to get to the main road. Would be much easier if there is a small boat for guests to use. Could be nicer decorated for that price.

The Villa was overall a very good spot, peaceful and beautiful.

The separeted room ("master bedroom"), as described, is outside of the main house and smells very strongly of mold, it was very hard to sleep there even with the window open. The main bathroom shower is leaking and it floods the floor, and both shower holders were broken/loose. There were 2 gas stoves but no lighter or match sticks, so we couldnt use it. ALSO, BE CAREFUL because this house is only acessible by boat, so if you want to get to know the island, you will have to pay the taxi boat many times (this was our fault because we didnt read the description carefully).

The location was absolutely amazing. Incredibly beautiful. The host was very nice and did her best to make us feel welcome and show us around. If you have a boat it's got really good access to other beautiful spots around the island but you definitely need to take a boat. The house has great potential and is very relaxing as its not in the hussle and bussle of town but it has not really been finished and we were there with 6 people expecting to have 6 good beds but that was not really the case.. I would recommend for 2 maybe 3 people. But 6 is too much. The local water taxi was good and costs 20€ in and out of town. Upgrade living on solar was fine. We were able to run the aircons to cool us down at night which was appreciated

The second part of the house with two beds was full of mildew and smells off. The kitchen facilities we're not really adequate and as you are remote living you really need to be at a cook but the facilities we're not able to be used very well even the outdoor gas burner was broken so it leaked gas. There were not enough cooking utensils for a proper cook up. They would have done well if they provided mosquito repellent etc. Maybe some snorkelling gear or fishing rods would be good if you took it but it would be even better if they provided it. I would love to go back if they fixed these issues.

So, we booked this house even though it didn’t have any major ratings because of its sea-front location. The location is amazing, very secluded and quiet. A few native friendly neighbours. Before booking this property one needs to know that the house is not accessible by road. Google Maps does show a path to the house and the house offers a parking as well, which is hilarious but this is off-road and your car-rental company will not allow you to take your vehicle there. You need to take a water-taxi from the Stari-Grad port to come to the house. The house has a small private pebble beach which gives you access to crystals clear Croatian waters. the terrace is superb for sunbathing in the mornings and star-gazing at night. Exactly the type of location that we were looking for. The property is managed by a hotel, which in my opinion turned out to be very good for us. The people that we were in contact with (Marina and other hotel Staff) were very friendly and available as a 24/7 contact. On the second night at 12.30am we lost electricity to the house and Marina assisted us in getting out of the problem and arranged for a transfer to the hotel in Hvar. Luckily they had free rooms and we were able to spend the night in the hotel and have a sound sleep and breakfast the next morning. Not even once we had a feeling that she didn’t want us to contact her. She helped us with finding a parking at the stari-grad port and gave us suggestions regarding POIs in Hvar.

The fact, that the house is not accessible via road (which was not mentioned in the description at the time we booked and the booking is non-refundable mind you), made us feel unsure and a bit sceptic about the house. We were informed about this on the day of our check-in and that the Water-Taxi-transfer to the house was organised by the Hotel-management but we were asked to pay for the transfers (150HRK one-way). After a discussion they agreed to pay for the transfer to the villa at check-in and it took them a few hours and conversations with the “owner” to organise for return transfer after check-out. Our ferry got cancelled and we informed the manager about it and a late check-in at 9.00 pm was possible as well. Check-in went well. The main building of the house accommodates upto 3 adults or 2 adults with a child, has a bedroom living room with a kitchenette and a bathroom with washing-machine. The 2nd bedroom is built under the porch and is accessible from the terrace. This 2nd bedroom had a disgustingly bad smell of fungus and mold. The room was most probably not open for many days and not properly ventilated. The ventilator in the bathroom on the ceiling had mold around it, which was the probable culprit. The room was habitable the next day, after we kept the windows open. The view of the ocean from the terrace was breathtaking although the 2 sun-beds were damaged. But we still had enough sun-beds for 5 of us. The second day of our stay went pretty well till midnight till we had no electricity. Marina and other hotel staff did an amazing job with assisting us and getting a place to the hotel. The electrician figured out the problem the next day. The house is run on solar energy and probably was out of juice. The installation didn’t take into account that the house has 3 air-conditioners. The hotel night-staff promised us breakfast the next morning and assured us that this was included but the next morning the manager had a different opinion.

The location was great. The area is very peaceful.

The state of the property is very poor. Everything is broken
