Situated in a close proximity of Himeji Railway station, making the transfer easy .Himeji Palace and Arcrea on a walking distance. English speaking polite staff was helpful. Helped me keep my luggage even after check out in front of the front desk. It was comfortable for us to attend the Asian, African Pacific Classic Powerlifting Championship at Arcrea Convention Centre , where my son Chinmay would compete under Men's 66kg category to win Silver Medal on 10th July 2025. It was indeed fun to stay at Comfort Hotel Himeji

Space in the room was enough for only light travellers.

The location was perfect, close to the central station, city center and the castle. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. :)

The air conditioning was remotely controlled to a specific mode. I would have wanted to use the "Dry" mode, since it got quite humid in the hotel room itself. But the mode was locked to "Cooling".

Good location about 500m from station. Hotel has all the usual range of features typical of Japanese hotels. The room had all the usual amenities as well and was more spacious than other hotel rooms we have had. Room actually had two chairs so one of us didn't have to sit on the bed which we liked. The buffet breakfast was excellent - a mix of Western and Japanese dishes. A convenience store next door to the hotel which is handy. Very nice walk from hotel to Himeji castle via covered arcade. Himeji has good train connections so good place to hub for other centres e.g. Osaka and Okayama if you have the JR pass.

Friendly staff. Easy check in. Nice breakfast already included in the price. You could borrow an umbrella for free, free lemonade at the lobby. The staff helped us calling a taxi and they made sure the taxi driver understood where we wanted to go.

The double room can be a little too small if you have a lot of luggage. For us it was ok. (2 adults and one 6 year old)

Everything went smooth. Rooms are super small, but that's what you're signing for. The breakfast is very good, buffet with multiple dishes to choose from. 5 minutes from the train station, short walk to the castle grounds, all izakayas in the center are just around the corner. For this price it is bargain.

We were perfectly fine.

Great location to Himeji station, shotengai, and castle. Kobini right next door. Free refreshments. Can use the lobby area to eat outside food. Morning breakfast offers variety of Japanese and Western options.

Flat pillows. Twin rooms are more spacious than double rooms, but only a few are available.

We arrived a little early. However, the hotel staff were more than happy to store our luggage for free while we went out for a few hours. The room was very clean and well organised. The amenities were good. The complimentary breakfast was good, and had a good variety. Location-wise, the hotel was a walkable distance to Himeji station and Himeji Castle. It was great that there was a 7-Eleven right next to it.

This is such a great hotel. Perfect location because short walk from station then from hotel another 10 to 15 minute walk to castle. Fantastic to have breakfast included. Over all great value for money and ideal for a 2 night stay. Very comfortable beds and great complimentary coffee and library nook.

Super variety and healthy options offered for breakfast. Location was good with about a 7 minute walk to the Mito station.

At late night, several other hotel guests were making way too much noise for an extended amount of time. This was unfortunate.

Breakfast was included and the staff are polite and nice. The car parking fee is only 550 yen for parking until 10am but the staff allowed us to park until 1pm so that we could go to visit the castle the next morning and come back to get the car. Excellent!
