The room was quite big for a Japan Hotel, bigger than the usual Apa Rooms. The Staff was nice and accommodating.

The breakfast buffet was not good, they didn’t have a lot of choices for foreigners, mostly Japanese dishes (which is fine) but more dishes like curry or fried noodles which I suppose would more fit to a lunch than breakfast. The staff shut the warming lamp and everything down at 9:00 even though the breakfast was till 9:30. It felt not very welcoming as if they try to hush you out. The washing machines did work, but they had a little stench to it, I was just hoping that my clothes wouldn’t smell.

Very comfortable and clean. They let me leave my bag before and after check-in. Nice staff. Good location.

Quite pricey for what it is - by far the most I have ever paid in Japan (I have visited a few times). The initial communications after booking had a bit of a weird tone (like, if you are more than 2 hours late from the arrival time, they will give away your room?). I had a double room for one average sized person + a small backpack, and I can't imagine larger / taller people and full suitcases fitting in here.

I've stayed in 3 APA hotels (Tokyo Hanzomon, Osaka Namba, and Himeji), this one was by far the best out of them all. The rooms were bigger, there's a dedicated space near the door for hanging clothes and putting your luggage bag, and you get a decent hairdryer. Being an APA hotel, you get all the other usual bells and whistles: a well-equipped toilet, free TV channels (unlike some hotels that require you to pay), fast internet and comfy beds. The front desk staff were also friendly and welcoming. The location was great, only a 5-minute walk to Himeji station. Highly recommended.

The centralized air conditioning system can be a little bit noisy, and the water temperature from the shower head is a little unpredictable, sometimes warm and sometimes a little cold.

We stayed for 2 weeks at APA Himeji. This was my wife's idea (she did something similar at another APA); at first I wasnt sure this was a good idea, but in fact it worked ouy very well. Room is small but beds are excellent and I slept well, breakfast was outstanding, and location was very convenient for doing day-trips by train.

The price/quality ratio was pretty decent even though the rooms are extra small. Breakfast was great and the views from the breakfast room was inspiring in the Winter morning.

The rooms are small but it's not the top of hotel where you're going to go and spend time in. For sleeping and spending the day outside is absolutely fine. Apparently their curry is famous and it does rise to its fame.

The location is great - just a few minutes walk from the train station. The hotel check-in and check-out were easy and the room had a very comfortable bed, two types of pillows, free movies and a built-in plug adaptor.

The hotel staff sets the air conditioning, so not much flexibility if you feel hot or cold, although the temperature was just fine.

1. Great location inside downtown Himeji, food court and shopping streets around. 2. Easy to access traffic center and Himeji Castle. 3. Luggage keeping service even after your check out.

1. State Route 2 is so congesting, feeling the traffic when you go out. 2. No ramp in front of the gate, bad for luggage and wheelchair. (10cm height difference to reach the sidewalk.)

Good location for visiting the comercial streets and the Castle and really close to the train station. They keep the bags after check-out.

Room in the smaller size Spectrum, but expected in Japan. Its enough for 2 medium suitcases and 2 bagpacks but probably dificult if it was a large suitcase (which i don't recomend for Japan anyways)

Breakfast was good, the room was very spacious. Location is perfect: very close to the railway station and to Himeji castle. Ladies at the reception were very nice and I felt really welcome while checking in. One of the best options by price/quality ratio so far during my travels to Japan (it's my 3rd time).
