This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I truly appreciate how quiet the rooms are and the attention to detail from the staff. This time, I ordered breakfast, which was quite diverse and definitely exceeded my expectations. Everything was fresh and delicious. They even went the extra mile by offering free ice cream at night to cool you down after the onsen, and a probiotic drink in the morning, such a thoughtful touch!

I noticed that construction started this year of the building next to hotel, so there may be some noise from Monday to Saturday, unfortunately. Otherwise, the hotel is very quiet.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! It was in a great location which was very close to Himeji Station and the staff were very kind and accommodating to my early arrival. I was able to drop my luggage with reception and go out to tour the city. When I came back in the evening, they had already put my luggage in my room which was awesome. I also used the onsen facilities which were exceptional. The onsen was very clean and had a calming atmosphere. They even had a small outdoor bath on the roof which was lovely. I also used the laundry room which was very easy and straightforward to use. I had a very comfortable stay and wish I would have stayed longer than 1 night!

The location, the staff, the onsen - everything was great. The natural onsen's waters were very soothing, that it also had an outside pool was great. The staff was extremely friendly, suggesting places to see, and good restaurants. Their English was really good, and we asked help for another reservation and they called them in our name, and sorted out the problem for us. The location of the hotel is very close to the train station, and the main historical attraction (the Himeji castle) is in walking distance - so, it was a great place for a two day trip.

The breakfast alone makes this hotel worth it – easily the best I’ve had in Japan. A huge variety of bite-sized dishes lets you sample all the local specialties without being wasteful or overeating. From oden to different types of tofu, fish, and more, it’s a real culinary experience. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the train station, and the reception staff are friendly and helpful.

The onsen is really lovely to relax after a long day! Also the free ice cream and ramen is a bonus! The location is right by the train station and very close to Himeji castle, which makes it perfect for sightseeing. The size of the room was a little larger than I was expecting, so that's pretty great too.

The itself room was a little dusty, but overall quite clean.

I always like the Dormy Inn hotels. This one in Himeji is also great : the room is clean and enjoyable, the view is nice. They give you free dessert and after the onsen you can also take free yogurt and ice cream and noodle at night. They have all the facilities and equipement you need. The emplacement is great because it's really close to the main train station. They can keep your luggage if needed. You will feel safe as a solo traveller.

It was the first time an employee asks me if I have any tatoo during check-in ..... because I have a small one they gave me a patch to cover it in the onsen. I was very surprised so be carefull if you have lots of them because you definetly can't go to onsen in this hotel ! The bed and pillow quality wasn't the most confortable and there is only a little isolation so you can hear the room next to you. They are only two elevators so it can be quite slow sometimes.

Our room was mostly very comfortable - clean and quiet, with good quality bedding and enough storage for our suitcases. The real standouts at this hotel were the beautiful, sparkling clean onsen and sauna and the exceptional buffet breakfast featuring local specialties.

Our room's very efficient air conditioner could not be adjusted and so made our room overly cold.

Exceptionally convenient location for the train station. Great staff service too - including an extra touch of putting our luggage in the room (we had dropped it off before check in time). Good hot spring facilities and the smart TV was a nice touch.

Some of the room furnishings were a little worn out and the hotel could use another elevator, some of the waits were a little long at busy times.

The location was perfect. Just a short walk through the central part of the city to the Castle. I highly recommend walking from the hotel to the castle at night. There are lots of restaurants and convenience stores very close by. The free ramen was great. Served by the loveliest chef in Japan. The breakfast was incredible. The onsen was lovely. All the staff were so friendly. So glad we stayed here.

Good breakfast with Western and Japanese options - we used both. 3 minute walk from Himeji station, about 15 minutes to Himeji-jo. Many great places to eat nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful in storing bags prior to check in (and receiving them from Yamato shipping) and storing bags after check out.
