I purposefully chose to be far away from District 1. The area is very peaceful and a more upscale part of the city. It was really quiet at night and even during the day. It’s a cheap 15 minute Grab ride into the main tourist area, which I did not mind at all. The room itself is a little older, but has everything you need. Get the most expensive room available, if you can, because it is the nicest. One of the staff members, whose name I didn’t catch, was especially nice and helpful and spoke good English. He is like the handyman/manager/Jack of all trades or something like that. He was nice enough to move me to a different/better room when a loud, disrespectful guest kept banging around in the room next to mine at all hours. He was a repeat guest and known offender, and the staff profusely apologized to me for the inconvenience. The new room I was moved to was nice and peaceful.

I chose this hotel for peace and quiet at night and it didn't disappoint. When I got back from partying in Bui Vien (District 1) at midnight, there was complete silence on the street outside the hotel. Superb! There are some coffee shops and restaurants nearby, plus the 7-11 across the road and also a supermarket next to the hotel. The water in the bathroom doesn't get warm, never mind hot. Otherwise I would have given the hotel 10 out of 10. The man at reception during the day was kind and did me a nice favour as well, so my thanks to him.

New and comfortable hotel. Hotel has a quiet rules for 11pm-7am then it's good for customer sleep. Staff is friendly and ready to help. Overall is good, nothing to complain.

This hotel is in a perfect quiet and peaceful area of Ho Chi Minh filled with beautiful bars, restaurants and cafés. It’s a quick grab ride into the other central districts but nicely away from the congested traffic. The staff are extremely helpful, easily extended our day and responded to requests immediately. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious! We stayed in the basement room for part of our stay which was amazing value. 10/10 overall stay and will be recommending to our friends.

The hotel is a bit outside of the city center, so it is more quiet. The area seems to be an upper-class environment. Many Korean, Vietnamese and also Western restaurants. I liked it very much and was there almost a week. Super nice guy at the reception gave me early check-in for free. Also really nice and perfect cleaning and laundry service. It was perfect for me, because I wanted a quiet, safe and comfortable place. Great experience!

Good location within District 7 ("Korea Town"), handful of good cafes and restaurant within walking distance and two different malls (Crescent and Vivo) within 5min Grab ride away. We booked a basement room due to being light sleepers and it worked wonderfully. Room is spacious and had everything we needed.

Cleaners didn't seem to know difference between "Do not disturb" and "Make up my room", so room was not cleaned when sign was hung on the door.

I recently stayed at the Golden Tree Apartment during my visit to the SECC conference, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The location couldn't have been more perfect, with easy access to the conference venue and nearby amenities. The apartment itself was spacious, well-maintained, and tastefully furnished, providing a comfortable retreat after a busy day. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring a hassle-free experience from check-in to check-out. I highly recommend the Golden Tree Apartment to anyone visiting for the SECC conference or exploring the area.

Hotel was located in District 7 in Ho Chi Minh. Place was really clean, peaceful and away from the bustling city. Our room had cooking equipments, an iron a wardrobe for your clothes, toilet was very clean, love the mini balcony where you can admire the view from above. I think it’s an neighbourhood where the expats live as well. It felt so safe and quiet at night as well. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby so you can get your essentials if you run out of yours. Staff at reception was so helpful, attentive to our requests, and quick to respond too. Housekeeping was very prompt when we requested for a room make-up or toiletries when we called the receptionist for it. I would 10/10 recommend people to stay here in the hotel if you would like to stay away from the hustling and bustling city and the hectic traffic in other districts. Hailing a taxi or booking your taxi through the Grab App is fast and many cars are easily available as well. I would stay here again if i ever come to visit HCM Vietnam.
