We loved the homey feel to the lodge. We would go out to dinner at night and come back to freshly baked goods laid out for guests. It snowed each night we were there. I woke up to my car (and all the guests' cars) cleaned off each morning by the owner. Incredibly nice people, great location, great space, felt very much at home at the lodge.

Everything was perfect

We loved the adirondack chairs and fire pit on the grounds! Evenings spent under the stars with a nice fire! The complimentary breakfast was fresh, homemade and very good. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The furnishings may be a bit dated, but who cares when you can sit by the mountain and star gaze!

For a continental breakfast, the choices were excellent, hardboiled eggs, homemade pastries and fruits. The homemade pastries were delicious. We were also grateful for the staff to clear the snow off of our car and shovel us out early in the morning. Excellent service!

The room was comfortable and the shower was exceptional, with great water pressure, hot water, and a removable and adjustable shower head, which is unusual but welcome to a short person. The breakfast was good and the location fine for our purposes.

The location was great. It was a beautiful and convenient location. Breakfast and available coffee, hot chocolate etc. are a very nice touch and much appreciated.

The only issue (which wasn't much of an issue) was how early the people above us were up and walking around. A little loud, but it was only while they were getting ready to go out, and we had ear plugs!

I have stayed here many times when visiting VT for ski holidays. It is perfectly positioned to reach multiple resorts like Stratton. The rooms were always clean and spacious. It has always been quiet at night.

May be a few more hot breakfast options would be nice, but the coffee is good.

Quiet location with a great restaurant down the road, Fat Crow and shops. Great field to walk our dog and the lodge provided a ground floor with a door right near the parking spot. Breakfast was thoughtfully chosen and tv in the room. Wi-Fi worked well. Bed and pillows comfy! Good water pressure in the shower and the room was clean.

We loved our stay at the Lodge. Beds were very comfortable and I loved the wooden furniture in the room. it created a very calm and soft atmosphere. Also breakfast was very tasty and with extensive hours. We also appreciated that the owners try to limit spoiling with compostable cutlery available. I really hope to come again!

On the second morning I could hear cars passing by a bit louder than the first day

The setting was beautiful with the mountain backdrop and out in the country, no bright lights and traffic noises. The Lodge was older and has been remodeled nicely but the has kept its original charm. The bed was very comfortable. We sat out one night and gazed at the stars. The breakfast was very nice and they use as many local products and fruits as they can. We stayed 3 days and didn't miss one breakfast! The owners were great, there when you needed them but never a bother. When we left they gave us a thank you card and congratulated us on our retirement and cute tin of Vermont maple syrup! Next trip to Vermont we will be staying here again.

The rooms had everything you could possibly need! Coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, popcorn, ice available, alarm clock, a fan, white noise machine (upon request), and plenty of wall plugs for phone chargers etc.
