Room was very clean and spacious. Location was close to the location we were visiting and close to shopping, dining, etc. It was quiet at night. In general, the room was a good value compared to other properties we've stayed at in the area.

The furniture was a little care-worn and the decor a little dated but not a significant detraction. Shower/bathtub might have been better, including some kind of safety footing in tub, as well as more accessible controls. All are minor quibbles considering our short stay and the fact that we were out of the room for the most part except to sleep.

The room I stayed in was huge! It was a wonderful night of sleep! I had driven since 8 pm the previous evening from North Carolina, arriving to where I was headed in New Hampshire about 12 pm. I was able to secure a room at your hotel around 2 pm. Because I had driven all night, I was extremely tired. When I arrived, the desk clerk, I think his name is Fritz, told me he didn’t know if my room was ready. I told him I had driven all night and he let me go ahead and check in. The room was clean, huge and the bed was so comfortable! After a nice hot shower, I went to sleep around 5 pm and slept till about 8 the next morning. It was quiet and comfortable, a perfect place to stay!

Felix at the check-in office was friendly, welcoming, and professional . After we checked in and went to our room, our tv cable was not working properly, and we called the office for help. Within a few minutes, Felix came to our room and fixed it. I can not say enough about this place. It may not be considered a 5 star motel, but we were very satisfied with not only the service. The room was clean, bed, comfortable, and fresh, and the bathroom very clean with awesome shower water pressure. Everything we needed! We are looking forward to staying there again next time we are in VT. Thank you !

everything was as we wanted. nice bed, good bathroom and tv. good parking for 1 vehicle. we didnt get a chance to visit the attached restaurant as its hours didnt fit our travel schedule, but looked like a good option for next visit. the location was at most 15 minutes from everything we ended up doing on our trip. lots of good food, entertainment, and local businesses nearby. definitely will stay here again in the future.

the provided soap in the bathroom was empty, and one of the towels had a spot of what looked like blod on it. we didnt try any of the added amenities, like breakfast or the pool, so cant speak on those.

The room had the usual amenities. The king size bed was really nice, and clean. Nice quiet atmosphere. What was exceptional to me was the 75 foot heated pool, another 75 foot unheated pool, a hot tub, steam room, sauna and a small exercise room. I would definitely stay there again when in Brattleboro.

Like most motels there is a tv, but no real tv guide to let you know which channels have what programs on them. Not really a complaint against the Colonial. Just an observation.

The location was great for me as I was attending a festival about a half hour away. The place is dated but clean. Breakfast was mediocre. The shining star is the two pools! Both pools are indoors and they are great. There is a hot tub and saunas there as well. The staff is very friendly. I liked having drinks and dinner at their Indian restaurant there.

Would have been nicer if they scrambled the eggs them selves. Mattress needs updating.

Great value for the price and a great location. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There were a few bad reviews about the Wifi, so I was a bit worried, but they seemed to have figured it out, and Wifi was working fine for me. The spa was really good - two pools, a sauna, a steam room and a hot tub - all fully functional and enjoyable. They also have an Indian restaurant next to it, which had very authentic home-made Indian food. I speak as someone who backpacked in India four times. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Vermont.

We had stayed here before but had more time for leisurely things this time around. The pools, hot tub and steam room are incredible and the perfect end to a busy day. The people are very nice and accommodating. We will stay here every time we are in brattleboro. Also, the room we had was huge and very comfortable for two people.

The TV didn't work when we first got there but they quickly took care of it

Instead of the traditional, highway motel I expected, I was surprised by this multiple building property located on a large property extending away from the busy Putney Rd. The property also has a quite good Indian restaurant. The room I had at the rear of the property was extraordinarily large. It had been redecorated fairly recently and was clean and adequately though minimally furnished. The bed was comfortable. This property houses two large, indoor swimming pools with sauna and other facilities open to the public on a membership basis and hosting classes for children. It reserves one of the pools for laps swimmers. The breakfast was modest but adequate with a waffle maker. They did run out of tea.

The room was very spacious. The continental breakfast was great. They had bagels, muffins, cereal, bacon, sausage, and eggs. I was quite surprised to see so much offered for free.

Thought the carpet looked clean, I don't like carpeting in motels or hotels. It kind of gives me the ickies. Also, the windows didn't open. The cranks were stripped
