Set amidst numerous chain motels, this independently-owned, mid-priced property set well back from the road was a most pleasant choice. It’s evident that the owners take pride in their place; the room I had (207) was spacious, clean, and well furnished. There was a fridge, microwave, and even bathrobes; the outdoor pool looked lovely and clean, and the air conditioner in the roomwas quiet and efficient. And they even had fresh fruit, yogurt, and breakfast snacks in the lobby. Although this is a pet-friendly property, even the dogs were quiet the night I was there.

room was remodeled, perfectly fine for a stay. Small to-go breakfast items like yogurt, little cakes...free coffee-wish they would upgrade that a little, kind of watery but decent. Staff wonderful and kind-remind people that breakfast ends around there at 11am except for a very few places. I like an all day breakfast place.

pool area needs some work, the pool was too cold for me during this time so I went in only on one day for a few minutes. Upgrade tables and chairs to resin ones with a few more umbreallas.

I wish I could give more stars for service. The owners are the most amazing people you will ever meet. I went here with my pup and we were both treated so well. They knew my dog Sami by name, spoke to her and gave her treats. When I called to check out the next day, the owner asked how Sami was doing and how everything was. When I was checking in, they gave me a ton of recommendations on where to see covered bridges and where to eat that was dog friendly. I did both things and it was incredible. I now know that I need to spend more time in this amazing town. Now for my room, it was so clean!! Everything was perfect. I was so comfortable and loved how adorable this place was. The bed was so comfortable, I loved how close the place was to everything. It was a quiet night for us. I travel with my dog everywhere. This by far was the best experience for my furbabe and by the way, the cheapest pet fee ever! I cannot say enough pawsitive things about this place. Please go here and please spend time at the local parks. The whole city was breathtaking and I cannot wait to go back. (Cross posted on Google as well :-))

The staff were very courteous, helpful, and friendly and the room provided a generous variety of teas and coffee. The bed was super comfortable and the room very spacious offering a copy of the bible and the Gita. Only one mile away from the pleasant Marina trail walk, across the street from a large grocery store, and seven minutes from downtown Brattleboro. Plus, a very good Mexican food truck was available in the parking lot all day!

Hotel was in a great location. Our first time traveling with our 2 small dogs. Hotel accommodated us with a room on the first floor for easy access in and out with the dogs. Room was clean, beds and pillows comfy, plenty of towels. Loved the little table and 2 chairs in our room to set and eat at. The dogs appreciated the beds were low enough they could jump on them by themselves. Grab and go breakfast was perfect for us. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!

The room was not huge but it was large enough for one night, the beds were immaculate—but not full of some artificial VOC smell. The staff was very considerate and offered personal service via a phone call when I texted that we were going to have to check in late. It was very reassuring! We went out for breakfast because we prefer a big meal then They had pastries and coffee and fruit, which was fine, but with the money we saved, a bigger meal was OK down town. Great pool! Very clean and large and inviting in the sunshine!

Some gaudy statues of lions and Qusn yin, but they were not off-putting, either. They were part of the property’s history.

The bed was very comfortable and the neighbors next door or possibly on the floor above were quiet, no loud activity, for a good night's rest.

It would be nice to provide a hair dryer on the bathroom wall. There was a high window on the back wall without a curtain; not knowing what was outside past dark, it felt a bit uncomfortable being there. As TV stations vary from region to region, a printed card showing the correlating numbers and stations would be good.

The room was clean and comfortable. There was enough furniture for two people. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a good assortment of breakfast items and fresh coffee.

The road into the Inn needs work. The neighbors are fast food restaurants. The neighborhood is commercial, but that also makes it very convenient. There is no traffic light for the Inn, which can make entering Putney Road difficult during rush hour, however, there is a nearby rotary for changing direction.

Friendly staff at check in, very accommodating people! Pool was closed due to thunderstorms but they offered to let us use the pool the following day when the storms cleared up, even after check out which was so kind :) good location across the street from grocery stores, some food trucks, saxtons distillery, and a food truck was available on site. 5 min drive or less to downtown. Room was clean and comfortable, and shower even had hair conditioner which is rare to find! 10/10 would recommend and stay again!

We were looking for a simple affordable place to stay on our way north. They folks here were super-friendly and I loved the giant fish they had in the lobby. It's like 30 years old! Plus, there's a couple nice cats roaming about. I like quirks like that. It makes it more homey. Everything is close-by too.

The mountains in the background might be prettier without all the trailers & stuff.
