Room was clean and comfortable. I believe they are updating as I saw a few things that were chipped and worn. Heat, hot water and relatively quiet with having a dog with us. Also were accommodating about getting in an hour earlier than expected.

Sand the parking lot after it snowed. Other than an older heater in the bathroom and no fan in there, it was what we expected. Nothing else was an issue.

Spacious room for the price. Great wi-fi too. The decor is reminiscent of a small ski chalet room. The property owners have done an outstanding job in renovating / updating this property's room. Despite the fact that this motel is practically on top of I-91 and is very close to active freight rail tracks, the rooms are very quiet. While I heard people check into the room next to me as they were bringing stuff in from their car, once they were in the room and their door was closed, I barely heard them.

The water pressure in the shower is lower than other area hotels. The property is definitely on well water rather than a municipal water system. The pressure isn't bad if you're used to typical well water pressures. My particular room (Room 106) didn't have anything resembling a closet. This wasn't a problem for a summertime visit, but not being able to hang up a sports jacket, rain jacket or heavy winter coat could present a problem at other times in the year. All of the other rooms I've stayed at here had a small closet immediately inside the front door; so this is quirk of this particular room.

The room was spotless and updated. Was happy to see lovely new duvets on the bed. (No outdated motel bedspreads here). The owners seem to be constantly working to improve this property, which is older in a charming way but definitely updated. Was very happy to find a dog friendly property in such a quaint Vermont town. Loved that it had a front and back door for dog walking purposes. Breakfast started at 6 30 which is important when you need to leave early.

It was super clean and a great value so would definitely stay again.

The location was great and the room was clean, comfortable, and updated. Perfect for a home base during our short visit.

Not sure anything can be done- walls are walls. But we heard the Neighbor’s tv through the wall when we were going to sleep. We aren’t light sleepers so that wasn’t a big deal to us, but it would something that I was mindful of if I was a light sleeper.

My room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, especially given the price ($10 to $20 less than local chain hotels). The Inn has very easy access from and to I-91. The room's heater / AC unit was surprisingly quiet. It's very easy to connect the the in-room TV to a laptop or streaming stick to stream video rather than rely on the available cable TV service (which is very basic).

The Wi-Fi cut out several times briefly (first time I experienced this during my several stays here). I usually stream TV using a Roku stick rather than figuring out the channels on the local cable service. The cut-outs required me to restart my streaming service more than once to continue watching the live games I wanted to see.

Owner extremely friendly and cordial. Staff is friendly. The motel is being updated and great accomadations for the price. Went for skiing. Four ski areas can be accessed from this location in less than an hour drive. Okemo, Bromley, Stratton, Mt Snow. Other areas available in a little over an hour drive. Easy access off Interstate 91. Restaurant at location is not open at present, but is in the plans to open when staffing can be obtained. Restaurants available in nearby Brattleboro a short 15 minutes away.

The Quietness, Close to Landmark College, Cleanliness, The security cameras were amazing!

Being on the 2nd floor ( only because I have arthritis in my knees) There was not an exhaust fan in the bathroom.

My family stayed at this location when I was younger. The place is exactly how I remember it. It's very clean and very affordable. We really enjoy the location a lot too. The Town is quaint and so beautiful! We hope to be back for a visit again very soon!

Sad that the restaurant is no longer open and the beds were too hard.

The perfect location off of the highway and near many hiking trails and places to shop and eat. We loved that we could bring our dog with us also.

The only thing we expected and don’t have was an on-site restaurant. The website and the booking link said they have a restaurant on site but the restaurant has been closed for some time apparently with no plans to reopen in the near future. maybe- update the website in that. Thankfully we had plenty of nearby options so it all worked out.

Nice size room for the price (less expensive than other neighboring hotels). The bed was really comfortable. Electrical outlets in the room were conveniently located and plentiful. The walk-in shower rather than the usual tub / shower combo is a nice touch that I actually prefer. Good quality Wi-Fi and easy access HDMI port on the TV allowed me stream my favorite Netflix, Amazon Prime and Fubo-TV broadcasts.

Odd thing to say: my room didn't have a closet (not true of all rooms on the property; there is some renovation being done, hopefully a new closet will be built in this room - #106). While I lived out of my suitcase for the stay, it would have been nice to hang up my clothes for the next day so they could un-wrinkle a bit. The room didn't have a suitcase rack (other rooms for previous stays do), which meant that my suitcase sat flat on the floor rather than somewhat elevated.
