Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast. Good value (except for the $15 per night parking fee).

The $15 per night parking fee is an excessive hidden fee. The hotel should be more upfront about this fee.

We enjoyed the informed friendly staff. At check in the person before us was very upset that there is a $15 parking fee for guests. Because people park and leave their cars to go ski etc. it’s the hotels way to identify who paid to park. The employee stated why there is a parking charge. She was reserved and calm, very professional. I don’t agree that a guest should pay for parking and a slip can be provided to know the difference between cars from ones that park to adventure. However he was very upset, and rude to her. She doesn’t make the decisions as to who pays for what. I greeted her with a smile and understood the parking fee. My encounter was pleasant and very nice. I appreciate Ethiopia and Katie for their customer serves skills and tact. I will return and am okay with having a parking charge to ensure I have a spot. Especially in season. I don’t agree with it, I do understand.

The pillows need to be upgraded. I requested additional pillows and it was still very flat and I have neck issues. I travel with a pillow just the ones here aren’t for propping up in bed to read while relaxing. Would have like whip for evening hot chocolate.

Bunk bed room was clutch, pool was nice with comfortable lounge chairs, everything was brand new and clean, bed was super comfortable

Asked for late checkout but keys stopped working, location is central but nothing within walking distance, store items were insanely priced, light in bathroom wouldn't stay on

Great stay. Very comfortable! Beautiful remodel! The staff - especially the cleaning staff - is fabulous.

The 25.00 USD for a fairly typical buffet breakfast and 20.00 USD per night for parking felt like hidden fees and left a bitter taste. But overall, lovely, especially the staff.

Great location close to downtown Truckee. Breakfast was really good with attendants who were on it and made sure to keep the breakfast area clean and items restocked. Small gym with a Peloton, treadmill, elliptical and dumbbells (5-50 lbs).

Since the location is off a busy road, could be a wait to make the uncontrolled left turn out of the hotel (which takes you toward downtown Truckee). Turn right outside the hotel takes you toward Lake Tahoe - be sure to check traffic/roadwork conditions because there could be a lot of traffic.

Breakfast was perfect to start the day. Great selection, clean, plenty of food and others.

I wasn't expecting the parking charge. Nobody said anything and found the charge on the e mail when I got home. They should be upfront and let customers know when we check in.

Everything about the Hampton Inn exceeded my expectations. It was perfectly located - right down the street! - for skiing at Northstar. We were two friends and we each had lots of space. The room was spacious, the fridge was big with a freezer, the heat worked well (It was winter!), there were outlets for our devices and our blenders. The shower was nice and hot, and all the things we needed in the bathroom - dryer, towels, were laid out nicely. Most of all, the staff at the front desk were always friendly and welcoming, and gave us whatever we needed - advice, water bottles, suitcase storage - with a smile. The breakfast was the most substantial ever to get fueled for the slopes - substantial eggs - omelettes or scrambled, meat like sausage or bacon, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice, all of which I ate, and lots of pastries i didn't. There was an outdoor hot-tub on outside, that we didn't have time to try, but others said it was comfortably hot even on the coldest night, though quite chlorine-y. Still - a hot tub for post skiing!

There was literally nothing I did not like. A few of the electrical plugs did not work but there were so many it did not matter, partly because I did bring extension cords and USB chargers to extend them. The tea maker broke the last hour there, but we got the hot water from the breakfast place. All of this was reported and they said they would fix.

A very nice room with good facilities, nice and clean, good breakfast

The air con unit had a fault on it and kept coming on every 40-45 minutes making a loud noise. Unable to switch off the unit and it only started after midnight, I was too tired to get dressed again and go down and speak to reception about it.

The facility was beautiful, clean and smelled wonderful. The staff engaged you in conversation and made you feel welcome! It was a perfect day!

Aside from wishing there was a little more coffee and creamers, it was a perfect day!

The room was spacious and clean for us 3, the fridge and microwave and coffeemaker made it possible to store and make our own meals, and the breakfast service had eggs as well as a variety of other things!

My partner did not like the powdered egg omelette. I thought they were fine!
