I was blown away upon entering A Piazza del Gesù. The artistic design, rustic modern meets antiques with a dash of brilliant monastic simplicity...the location was perfection, set in a lovely square with a large fountain. Add in a room with a tub overlooking the garden and view of the ancient city and whoa (the bed was a king size and very comfortable). The husband of the duo is a talented architect, I only regret not having met him. Breakfast was fabulous with peonies and candles on white linen tablecloths. I will definitely be back if my travels takes me back to this beautiful, Medieval town packed with history.

This is a beautiful property in a wonderful location. The garden and pool made you feel like you were in the country but the town was at your doorstep. Everything is in walking distance plus it is on a piazza with several restaurants- lively but not noisy! Our room was on the ground floor which was an added bonus. The view from the room higher up was spectacular! Breakfast was delicious served by a very pleasant lady. Host and hostess are very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous accommodation with lots of light, fabulous view of the piazza. Updated, clean and really good breakfast.

Only issue was when we were arriving, we let the host know we were about 30 minutes away as requested, then we contacted them from McDonalds nearby. Yet when we arrived we had to wait quite some time before anyone came out to let us in (without any reason for the delay.) Other than this, no issues at all.

Location, building,grounds,breafast,staff,atmosphere This place is in the absolute perfect location. The house is a blend of old and new. It is incredibly beautiful and the grounds are amazing. The owners are very beautiful people and very interesting The breafast was lovely When I return to viterbo I would not even bother looking for another place to stay as this place was perfect.

Location of the property is excellent, the building very interesting and with lots of charm, lovely garden to relax in after a long sightseeing tour. Everything of interest very close by. Parking was easy and safe.

The family was very busy at the time of our stay and we felt a bit in the way!?? Twice breakfast was not ready and the croissants arrived when we had finished. Fruit out of tins. The room is quite minimalistic, big, but no comfortable seating apart of the bed. No water at arrival? A small gesture with means a lot after a long journey

Everything was spectacular, private parking, restful and spacious clean room with shower and bath, incredible breakfast, hosts were hospitable and friendly. The garden view and fresh apricots were something else - no words for the beauty. To top it off it is the perfect location for exploring Viterbo.

Beautiful! The soft colours, stunning period features and amazing bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful- candles, gentle music and sitting overlooking the beautiful Piazza del Gesu. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful . Would highly recommend,

The welcome by the owner, the ambiance & decoration, the gorgeous breakfast room and attentiveness of Marianna. My room was amazing with endless decorating touches, probably the inspiration of Raffaele.

Nothing I didn’t like

The room was well decorated and the B&B was in a perfect location. The grounds are beautiful behind the facility.

The rooms are on a third floor and anyone with any type of knee or back problems will have trouble traversing the steps multiple times per day. This was never mentioned prior to the booking. The bed was uncomfortable and the TV is far too small. Other than that it was a good value.

We loved everything, the location, the beautifully renovated old house, the architecture, the interior decoration, the garden with a magnificent view, the two lovely dogs and the cute little cat, the friendly owners and of course the medieval town of Viterbo! Great value for your money!

This is really picky, but maybe something salty at the breakfast would be nice. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the freshly baked Danish and cornettos - we northern people are used to bread, cheese, cold cuts, eggs, bacon etc. Coffee and cappuccino were great and served with a smile, though.
