Very friendly staff, beautiful nature around, nice and quite location, cozy living room with super nice view.

There is a private road coming to the hotel, which you need to pay on a special website. If you don't know that, it might be very tricky and bring some unpleasant surprise. We travelled around Norway in a rented car, and received the invoice for all road tolls from the rental company a couple of days after we returned the car. But not for this one - if you do not pay it on your own, you receive it later with a fine. So several kilometers one way to the hotel costed me 500 NOK and I expect the same invoice with the fine for the way back. It would be very good if the hotel staff inform the guests about specifics of this road, as this is absolutely not obvious.

This property is in a quiet location surrounded by beautiful nature. The dinner was excellent - choice was limited and that may have been to the number of visitors. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

It is a detour from the main roadway but having said that would still recommend to stay. Just be aware of the fee to be paid to use the road - the sign is easy to miss.

We made the booking in the morning of the day of the arrival. It first was a little strange when we drove on a gravel road to the hotel. We then found out that we were the only guests. We got our private dinner in the hotel and a private buffet breakfast with plenty of options.

Breakfast was a let down, not much on offer, thankfully I was travelling with my 4 year old grandson who isn`t particularly about breakfast so it was "ok".

Only breakfast. Being English while being fluent in Norwegian is a massive advantage for me, so speaking English with the friendly staff was fine for me but surprisingly I didn`t meet any staff that could speak Norwegian, not a must but surely and advantage for the hotel.

Remote location, friendly staff, baby bed for my toddler was placed and made up to perfection with clean duvet. My toddler would rate it 10/10, he also loved the decorative animals. Beautiful view of the landscape from the room, and pleasant music in the lobby.

The main road to the hotel is gravel on some parts, very low vehicles may need to drive carefully.

The hospitality and friendliness of the manager who welcomed us. Great view from our room of the lake. The dinning and lounge area was comfortable and inviting with an eclectic look and feel. Very hot shower and heated floor in bathroom. They served dinner and breakfast at the hotel.

The accommodation was really perfect, I was able to check in even very late, the staff was very friendly, everything was great!

The hotel can't do much about it, but the Street to the hotel was terrible 😆

Quiet location, very helpful reception!

Noise from other guests! A group of Chinese tourists talked loudly until past midnight and started again at 05:30am! No phone in the room to contact reception!

location is very remote - have to pay a toll to get to the private road where it is located no possibility to eat anywhere else as no local restaurants

The views from the deck as well as the dining room were spectacular. Dinner and breakfast very good. The staff was exceptional and very warm and friendly.
