The breakfast was superb! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

The window curtains are too small, not covering the whole window. Also it was hot, no circulation or fresh air. Only option was to open the windows, but it will get noisy and mosquitoes will get in. There wasn't enough outlets near the beds/not working.

All good, excellent breakfast and restaurant, plenty of car parking (free), beautiful swimming pool for morning swim and sauna for afternoon relaxation. Beautiful location in old cloister building, nicely renovated.

There are 2 sauna cabins, both equipped with water bucket or water dosing on the stove. It would be better to make a clear distinction between 1 dry and 1 'wet' cabin, to serve all customers better on their preference.

The hotel is nice, well renovated, extremely friendly and helpful staff, it was a great hotel and experience. I did not try out the food unfortunately. I would definitely go again when in the area. Easy parking that is off the main street. Great place to stay for a day or two.

The heated swimming pool was a bit too cold. Compared to German swimming pools that are heated, this felt very cold. Also the room heating did not seem to be on all night/day. So at times the room was cold, maybe it added to the cosy feeling, but I still wish I could warm the room a bit more.

Lovely hotel. Great pool and sauna facilities. Safe car park for motorbikes. Close enough to the Nurburgring for a taxi if you’re in a group. Definitely a hotel worth staying in.

The rooms got quite warm even when widows were wide open. A/c would of been ideal. From a personal point, the pillows were hopeless. Just not firm enough. Might suit some though. Trivial complaints really.

The staff was very nice. The hotel had available parking for free and the breakfast was also good. The room had an Ok size and bed was comfortable.

It is a bit old and you can hear everything from the room: people in the corridor or your neighbors. I would not recommend the restaurant. The food was not the best and it took hours for them to serve a salad and a schnitzel (not the best quality either)

We had booked the Budget Tweepersoonskamer. The hotel room is spacious. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very good for example, with a honeycomb. Free parking at the hotel. The Augustiner Hotel is located in the middle of Hillesheim. A beautiful hiking area. Tip: go to the Italian restaurant nearby Taverna Romana

The location, the facilities

The access card is needed for electricity in the room and to go in or out of the hotel or to visit the facilities and they gave us only one for a family of 3. We requested another one the next day but some doors were working while others were not. There was a lot of confusion there, but overall everything was good about the hotel.

Room and cleanliness were good. Rooms only made up every 3 days. Pool and sauna area superb.

At first breakfast there was some confusion with staff over my requirement for Gluten Free bread. Once sorted all was then OK.

Nice and clean. Restaurant was very good for an evening meal and breakfast. Staff were very nice. Parking was easy

Could do with a little refreshing and adding some up to date touches, like usb ports to charge phones.

Hotel facilities and rooms are clean modern and comfortable in an characteristic area.

Air-conditioning is missing during warm days.
