We got upgraded to bigger room and the view was magical. We stay outside all the time.

The facilities was quite poor. The staff was nice but need proper training and grooming.

De Serenity offers a stunning view of the forest with great service and well-equipped clean villa. You'll be provided with necessary items like drinking water, cooking utensils, fridge, rice cooker, toaster, portable BBQ pit, two giant loaves of bread and even mosquito coils for your comfort. Staff welcomed our arrival and communicated effectively on where to park and provided the WiFi password through WhatsApp. We were lucky to get the public pool to ourselves as there were no other guests during our two-nights stay. For breakfast, they provided packets of nasi lemak, noodles and some kuih which was really nice. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

In terms of Internet connectivity, some might struggle as there are no phone lines and the WiFi connection is unstable. Which is great for people like me because I get to avoid work. But here's a tip: download whatever movies/TV shows/music so you can watch/listen offline. In other words, bring your own entertainment to keep yourselves occupied.

The property is really nice and would be better if there was a kitchen door. The balcony is open and there is a possibility that monkeys could get in

If the day is cool, you can see many different species of birds and butterflies. Smother yourself with mosquito repellent if you plan to hike to the top of the hill.

There is no wifi because of the location. You need ConnectMe app.

Very nice modern villa overlooking the green tropical forest all around! Perfectly furnished, clean, comfortable, pool available to relax. We had an excellent communication with the owners, arranging all the transportation for us, taking care of everything to satisfy our wishes, we have enjoyed the barbecue. Thank you very much!

The natural, serene, peaceful environment. Quite soothing and calming watching the rain and sunrise, except when there is loud noise from kids/ guests at the swimming pool nearby. We upgraded to a larger room immediately, with better wifi and further away from the pool. The host/owner is kind and attended patiently to our needs. Her staffs are friendly and helpful as well. Overall, still a pleasant and healing stay.

Noise from the pool, depends on which room you stay. No food vending machine, mini marts, or restaurants up in the mountain, luckily my family insisted to bring some food to cook/bbq. Not a big deal if you are planning to stay in the room with electric bbq tool and cooking utensils available. Poor wifi (if you need it, ignore if you don't), yet not a big deal too. Find it slightly pricey.

Quiet, Peace, well maintained. Very friendly owner Ms Malini and her husband. Very concern and caring and very helpful Rina. Very forest, greenery, peaceful environment with chipping sounds of birds ... you can smell the whole garden... beautiful. bigger space, bigger balcony and well equipped house. we stayed in Emeralda Villa- 6 people. they provide bread, butter and jam, coffee, stimboat pot, electric bbq set, drinking water. all so good! thank you. will surelu come back with a bigger group!

phone reception not that good.. but its ok. its holiday. so its meant to be quiet and no disturbance...

We, group of 12, are very satisfy with our stay at JR villa. The spacious semi-open air lounge that provides great view of rainforest is really impressive, the full-size well equipped kitchen is so convenient for our food preparation and the Living room is complete with a large screen TV with Astro that enable my mum to continue watching her favourite drama. At night, the kids enjoyed very much of viewing the sky that full with stars, and there were some fireflies flying just next to the balcony. The villa didn't provide anti-slip in bathroom, however upon my request for the safety of my parents, the owner purposely bought and placed the anti-slip mats in the bathrooms for us, thank you very much Ms Malani. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend break for us at the villa, I will recommend this great villa to my friends. It will be prefect if swimming pool cleanliness being improved and with less chlorine/chemical contain.

Simple delicious mee hoon goreng with sambal ikan bilis and ayam goreng for brakfast,credit to Umi,friendly and very helpful. The Villa owner such a nice person,fast respon to my question and responsible too.

Maybe change mosquito coil to Spray or liquid electric .

The staff are super friendly and very helpful. They accommodated for additions of things we required during our stay like bbq grills and etc

The place is slightly small than expected but its not that bad
