My husband and I were there for a leisurely week long visit with the main expectations being a comfortable room with great A/C and plenty of restaurants nearby. Upon arrival, there were a few problems with the room, but the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The refrigerator didn't have a freezer, so he brought in a brand new one with a freezer. Also, he brought another bedside table as there was one on only one side. The room was clean, and there were no odors. The A/C worked great. The bed was comfortable. There was a microwave. Ice was available. The bathroom was clean, and the shower had a strong spray with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was a continental type, but the area for it is very small. We didn't use the pool, but others did. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, many you could walk to. A movie theater is across the street. A grocery store and the Barstow Outlets are a short drive away. We didn't see homeless loitering around the property or unusual activity . We felt safe. We would come again.

The a/c works great but is loud. Also, the bedside lighting isn't on both sides of the bed, and it can't be turned off while in bed. The updated rooms have the bedside lighting on both sides but in the ceiling, so this isn't ideal. The property could use some landscaping and / or just the weeds being taken care of.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were in room #117. We didn't use the WiFi if we did it was no cost. We didn't have breakfast as we wanted to sleep in. A special thank you to the lovely husband and wife that run the Super 8 Barstow CA. They are very nice and they did everything to please us. Its not that often we come across lovely people like them anymore.

Everything was very good for us, we didn't have any complaints.

My trip was 100% great thanks to the staff who were wonderful staff could not be more helpful even when I lost my case from Amsterdam to Las Vegas . I loved the fact that when I asked through Bookings . Com I asked what is included in the breakfast meal was it just cereal or a cooked breakfast I recieved an answer back via bookings . Com , we don't do breakfast here but on my second day I discovered that they do do coffee and a cereal snack , sadly I don't like coffee so I asked the receptionist at that time where can I get hot water for the tea bags that were on display and she got me some from the back room , since then there was hot water every morning , it does help to ask lol 😆.

The maid service was there to clean my room every morning.

It was quiet and the managers were very nice either late into the night or early morning. The room need an upgrade but the price of the room with breakfast was a steal. Recommend it for anyone that needs some sleep while on a long travel

Having to wait till 9 to be able did you stay there depositing your dad stay at the window I'll see you come to check the road before you can leave with your money

Staff was very helpful with my reservations and friendly as well as helping me get the best value for my stay and when I needed to extent it they were patience with me which made my concern easier. So thanks Super 8 I had a super experience staying with you and I will be back in the future.

Very clean. Owner was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We arrived very late and he went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. Good value clean and comfortable.

Early check in (much appreciated), Pool, clean rooms, clean bathrooms, fresh clean white towels, enough storage areas for luggage, pool towels available at the front desk, breakfast included with waffles (although very sparse breakfast but anyway), coffee basics in the rooms, even an iron and ironing board were provided, good TV, nice air condition, parking, soap, shampoo, conditioner provided, extra service if you would have forgotten sth like a toothbrush etc, they would offer stuff at the front desk for emergencies - so lovely!, comfy beds, clean sheets, desk and chair in the room, cool surroundings, a lot of places to eat nearby, two outlet centers only a few minutes away by car, all in all we can warmly recommend this place!

Breakfast very sparse. No cream cheese, butter, tea, bread almost empty, no orange juice (machine broken). It would need someone from the staff to constantly go through between 6-9 and clean the tables as well as the machines, storage areas, etc. Only one sunbed by the pool, otherwise only chairs. But apart from that, great.

Room was a nice size, with a comfortable double bed. Clean and nicely presented bathroom and wash area. Good to have a coffee machine. Breakfast was good. Up early so nice to be able to have somewhere to sit outside. Sat here on the night previously and had a drink in the warm air.

Room smelt a little damp. When we arrived, we left the door open for a while to get rid of the muskiness. Room a little dated but overall it was a good stay.

Clean and comfy accomodation when you are on the road and all you need is a clean bed, shower and working wifi. Food outlets around the corner. Polite and professional staff. Easy parking.

Nothing to complain about. Everything met our expectations.
