We booked the cottage knowing it was pricey ($400) but the idea of cooking the steaks on the fire with an amazing view won us over. It didn't disappoint, we arrived later than planned so it was a bit of a rush getting the fire going before dark. We did the shopping in Page beforehand, only the wood we still had to buy at the adjacent gas station. We were lucky as they only had 2 bundles left, this would have wrecked the plan if they had have run out. I think the Lodge should sell wood themselves or possibly supply some free as the rent is expensive. They have only been open this year (looked like the old lodge was on the opposite side of the road) so everything was new and and in working order. Really the Cottage was wasted on us only stopping 1 night, it was spacious and well laid out. It's an amazing place to stay with the peace and amazing views.

some Utensils and a poker for the fire would be good (I did mention this to reception the next day and she welcomed the feedback and said it's new and they were happy with the feedback) as said a guarantee of firewood would be nice.

We stayed in one of the cottages. Everything inside seemed brand new and was just pristine, and the decor was so attractive. The bed was comfortable; the towels were fluffy; the kitchen was well stocked. There were even live plants inside, and we had an incredible view through the living room window of marble cliffs that glowed in the early morning light. The fire pit outside added another dimension for sitting around in the evenings and watching the stars come out. The restaurant menu was a real surprise - who would expect to find a fabulous kale salad way out in the middle of the desert, not to mention all the other usual things and the bakery counter had lots of yummy pastries.

Marble Canyon Lodge is located near the gorgeous Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, Lee's Ferry, and the Navajo Bridge. I had a rental car, so I elected to drive the just over 2 hours to the south rim of the Grand Canyon during my stay. It was an easy drive. The area around the lodge itself is remote and, therefore, quiet. There is a restaurant and gas station/c-store on site for added convenience. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were both very easy. NOTE: Booking shows that these rooms have shared restrooms, which is not the case.

There was what looked like a communal sitting area adjacent ot the office/restaurant building that was closed off (for construction?). I wanted to sit outside at night and do some stargazing, but there was only one picnic table on my side of the building, and it was in front of another occupied room. Everything closes at 9pm. The doors to the rooms are quite noisy. Every time my neighbors opened or closed their door, I heard it. This was really only a problem my first night there as one of my neighbors must have opened and closed the door fifty times. Internet was spotty.

Lovely clean and well presented rooms. Great choice from the menu at the onsite restaurant. The burger and cocktail special were delicious! Restaurant staff couldn’t do enough for us. The Location was perfect for exploring horseshoe bend and surrounding areas. Sadly it was cloudy the night we stayed but would have loved to have seen the stars from there!

The staff member who checked us in wasn’t overly friendly and didn’t make some bits clear. For example, they have 2 bags of ice per room available which could have been signposted upon check-in. The same staff member was also chewing gum with a wide open mouth. It might not bother some people but coming from a customer service background it wasn’t in my opinion that professional.

Pleasant greeting at check-in, beautiful setting and very decent accommodation.

Under-staffed restaurant struggling to handle tour groups. Very poor wine selection and only sold by the glass. No bottles of wine could be purchased and the restaurant staff would not allow us to bring our own wine for consumption and pay a corkage fee. Most unsatisfactory and this diminished the restaurant dining experience. Internet connectivity in the room was slow and intermittent, as well.

The property is very clean, room is extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Literally the only negative about this place was the fact that they have heavy metal doors that slam when you get within the last 2 inches of closing it. We did not need to get up early since we were staying for 2 days and yet we were woken up instantly by the sound of other guests leaving and the cleaning crews going into the vacant rooms and slamming the doors. Extremely irritating... That's the only negative that we would have to say.

I was a travel agent for 16 years and I have traveled all over the world. This was the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed in! The staff was very friendly and the room was well thought out and very cute in its decor. The souvenir store had some cute items that I could not resist. We dined at the restaurant and it was delicious! We were able to order several things we had never had and then a hamburger too and it was all amazing and our waitress was very friendly too. We are already planning our next stay here as it was amazing and there is so much to see and do in this area!!

no complaints, we had an amazing stay here and we highly recommend it!

One of the only few options available within a short distance from Lee's Ferry (10-15 mins) Newly renovated, the property is excellent for stargazing as there is absolutely no light pollution around. Also historic Navajo Bridge is just 5 min away. Located on 89A it is almost same distance from both Page, AZ and Kanab UT (apron 45 min - 1 hour), just be mindful of a time zone change during summer months. Hotel doesn't have breakfast but there is a restaurant on site that opens at 6 am. Delish

Staff was great. Having ice available was a bonus. Rooms were comfortable. Convenient for our planned activities.

Price has tripled. I really liked the lodge better before renovations. Food was disappointing. On previous visit it was excellent. We had really planned to eat more meals there, but drove to Page instead.

The brand new rooms are fantastic. The location is gorgeous and perfect for adventure, from floating the Colorado River , fishing Lee”s Ferry, viewing California condors, to exploring canyons and hiking Coyote Buttes “The Wave” area and White Pocket. Plus the delicious Blue Corn deliciousness found in their restaurant.

Restaurant parking was not obvious to me. (Just park right in front).
