Marina di Petrolo Hotel provides it’s guest with a wonderful experience from the moment you step foot in reception. Staff are helpful, friendly and kind. The rooms are clean, comfortable with excellent amenities. Our room had the most beautiful view which we loved waking up to each morning. The location is excellent with plenty of things to do both at the hotel and in the nearby towns. The breakfast selection each morning was delicious and the staff were so incredibly lovely and helpful. A truly beautiful location and currently my favourite hotel I’ve stayed at, I can’t wait to return in the future.

Rooms are very clean. The beds are really comfortable. The ocean view was great and the breakfast was outstanding.

The apartment room was a good size and had a nice terrace which we enjoyed sitting out on. Building was 10 steps away from main hotel. Aircon worked really well which was a blessing as the temp outside hot 30 degrees most days. Pool was lovely, not heated but so refreshing on a hot day and with lovely views. We took advantage of the couples massage and spa session. Would definitely recommend this as the massage was so relaxing and spa is beautiful. We only had breakfast in hotel once but the was a wide variety of food and view was amazing.

Shower temperature was a little variable and bathroom smelt a little even though it was spotlessly clean.

Rooms were spotless and great value in terms of size. Hotel staff couldn’t have been more helpful - from the girls at the pool to reception staff who booked us transfer etc

This is difficult as the stay was great - lifts to the apartments could be beneficial as we had to carry any bags / luggage up when checking in however someone did offer to help us with this. Food options by the pool could also be a good suggestion - unless paying the breakfast (which we didn’t do), it would have been good to purchase food by the pool area.

Wonderful staff with great suggestions and recommendations from restaurants to activities to day trips. They responded quickly and with a smile to any and all of our requests. The location was perfect and walkable to all parts of the town, the centre and the beach. The hotel was very clean. Parking was easy. I’m not sure that I could find something that I didn’t like about our stay here. For reference I travelled with my sister and my adult son and stayed for 3 nights.

Lovely staff, nice big apartment, lovely pool would be nice if the pool bar did snacks of a day instead of just crisps, we ended up buying our own snacks and lolly ices it’s a long way to the supermarket if you don’t have a car. But we had a lovely stay and the kids loved the pool.

Nowhere to get any ice cream or snacks for the little ones. Would be nice if they had this on the premises.also very hard getting the pram downstairs as there is no lift but we managed because there was 4 adults.

Great hotel for stopover before flight home. Clean spacious room. Modern fresh decor Good breakfast choice. Friendly kitchen staff. Pool. Plenty of restaurants in vicinity.

Surprised no overhead shower in room considering modern decor or robes to wear to pool as had to go down to reception in bathing costumes to ask for towel. Reception staff ok but didn’t want to do small talk. Unusual compared to other hotels in past 2 weeks where staff were extremely chatty and friendly.

Room - Great room and a lovely view of the coast line. The room was very clean and comfortable with great amenities. Hotel - Lovely hotel which is well designed and thought out. Plenty of parking for the guest, a great pool that looks over the water with a great bar and very cheap drinks. Hotel also includes a gym and spa. Location - Great location right in town, walking distance to some really incredible restaurants. Staff - really really nice and welcoming, they helped us find really nice restaurants to try. Would recommend!

We didn't stay long enough to explore the city more and take full advantage of the all the hotel amenities.

The girls at the check in were really nice. The hotel is good, the restaurant is good on the top floor overlooking the sea. We had a nice room with balcony and sea view.

There's no beach. There's a little path (if you can call it that) that leads you to a rocky 'beach'. It smelled like urine and feces. It's very difficult to get in and out of the sea. Italy has a major problem with garbage. It really hurts to see how much garbage there is on the streets and in the sea. This sea was no exception. I like to snorkel, but sometimes it just feels you are snorkling in a garbage dump. The amount of plastic in the sea is shocking and mocks the fact that in the office and schools we are debating about the use of plastic straws and wooden stir sticks. Seriously. I find it shocking this is Europe. And it really is the same everywhere in Italy (I went to Sicily, Sardinia and South on the main land).

Cleanliness and very helpful staff. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The little beach is virtually inaccessible and not set up to sit on in anyway. The main beach is a very long walk away although wonderful when you get there. The pool is not heated. The bedroom storage is inadequate. Only 5 hangers and no drawers or shelves at all. We left most of our clothes in our cases. They charge for the sauna. Unheard of in any hotel I have ever stayed in. The breakfast was very basic. No hot food offered.
