The rooms are modern and spacious. The bathroom is clean and the shower is large (it also drains properly and the water temperature is good - unlike other places we stayed). Free towels at the pool was great and the parking was secure and plentiful.

Our only gripe is that the aircon was leaking and dripped water(?) onto the floor. It had actually stained the wall and would spray water when turned on. However, it still worked and kept the room cool. Also the pool is not an infinity pool. It’s lovely but it doesn’t meet the definition of an infinity pool.

Marina di Petrolo Hotel provides it’s guest with a wonderful experience from the moment you step foot in reception. Staff are helpful, friendly and kind. The rooms are clean, comfortable with excellent amenities. Our room had the most beautiful view which we loved waking up to each morning. The location is excellent with plenty of things to do both at the hotel and in the nearby towns. The breakfast selection each morning was delicious and the staff were so incredibly lovely and helpful. A truly beautiful location and currently my favourite hotel I’ve stayed at, I can’t wait to return in the future.

The breakfast was fantastic (especially for Italian standards), all staff were very nice and friendly! The parking was convenient. The room was ok (the shower was a bit old). As we checked out at 7 am, they packed a very nice breakfast for us. Thanks for that!

The swimming pool was a bit disappointing: the kids were jumping, it was quite crowded, the view was a bit worse than expected, the water in jacuzzi was dirty and smelly. Although we actually liked the area (palmas, chairs, shower, towels, etc) and the bar, we didn’t really enjoyed it as expected.

Rooms are very clean. The beds are really comfortable. The ocean view was great and the breakfast was outstanding.

I had to leave.

This was a beautiful, modern hotel on the Sicilian ocean waterfront. The room was perfectly clean, the AC was nice and strong, and the bathroom had a large, modern shower. Breakfast was epic! Full espresso bar staffed with a barista and freshly made pastries, charcuterie, and eggs. The pool has a panoramic ocean view. It's bigger than it looks online so you can actually swim good distances in it or lounge too. They also had a poolside café with a full espresso bar. Absolutely wonderful stay in Sicily. Highly recommend!

Fantastic small hotel in an excellent location. The staff were wonderful...friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Only 10 minutes walk to the port area, beautiful pool and the rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Looking forward to going back to Castellammare del Golfo again sometime and won't consider staying elsewhere.

10.30 checkout is a little early i feel. We extended ours by 4 hours for a reasonable €25 fee.

This was a hidden gem - we loved this hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean - the products in the bathroom were spa level products. Breakfast was served on the top floor with a beautiful view of the gulf. Parking was included. It was a 10 min walk to Centro Storico and there were lots of restaurants and shops as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very central to Scopello and San Vito lo Capo. We also did a morning drive to Erice and Trapani which was an easy drive.

The apartment room was a good size and had a nice terrace which we enjoyed sitting out on. Building was 10 steps away from main hotel. Aircon worked really well which was a blessing as the temp outside hot 30 degrees most days. Pool was lovely, not heated but so refreshing on a hot day and with lovely views. We took advantage of the couples massage and spa session. Would definitely recommend this as the massage was so relaxing and spa is beautiful. We only had breakfast in hotel once but the was a wide variety of food and view was amazing.

Shower temperature was a little variable and bathroom smelt a little even though it was spotlessly clean.

Rooms were spotless and great value in terms of size. Hotel staff couldn’t have been more helpful - from the girls at the pool to reception staff who booked us transfer etc

This is difficult as the stay was great - lifts to the apartments could be beneficial as we had to carry any bags / luggage up when checking in however someone did offer to help us with this. Food options by the pool could also be a good suggestion - unless paying the breakfast (which we didn’t do), it would have been good to purchase food by the pool area.

Wonderful staff with great suggestions and recommendations from restaurants to activities to day trips. They responded quickly and with a smile to any and all of our requests. The location was perfect and walkable to all parts of the town, the centre and the beach. The hotel was very clean. Parking was easy. I’m not sure that I could find something that I didn’t like about our stay here. For reference I travelled with my sister and my adult son and stayed for 3 nights.
