This was a welcoming and very pleasant place to stay at the end of December, with a warm and comfortable bedroom suite including a spacious bathroom with a good bath as well as shower. The breakfast was excellent, including tasty good-quality local ham and cheese. Dinner was separately available at the La Deu restaurant across the road and was of spectacularly good quality and good value. The hotel and its garden are in the forest, with many birds around, and a beautiful scenic walk along a quiet little country road to get in or out of town in 20 minutes (or easily by taxi).

Really lovely hotel in a super quiet setting. Its 2km or so away from Olot in the middle of a quiet forest, and we loved the tranquility and the fresh air. There is a restaurant across the road for dinner serving amazing food for very reasonable prices (menu del dia option). Breakfast was very hearty and classic Catalan style. We arrived on bikes and they were really cyclist friendly (have a locked shed for bikes). Really enjoyed our stay!

Surrounded by beautiful fields ,woods and a wonderful restaurant El Deu the other one is too expenive ...the room had 3 room bedroom bathroom and tv room which was wonderful

you need a car or bike because we walked and its 2km from the bus stop and at night we walked into town ..so its a bit too much unless you like walking 8 km

The location is very good. Very quite in the green (the other side of the road is the border of Garrotxa NP) not to far from Olot Centre. Located between 2 great restaurants so allows you to walk back to the hotel after a delicious diner. The breakfast was good and staff very friendly.

Bed mattress and pillow a bit hard but didn’t stop me going off after a long biking day.

This location is truly thrilling; pictures cannot do it justice. We journeyed with our two children. Our son was thrilled with his unique attic room. The air is so crisp and refreshing, it feels almost edible. The surrounding area is stunning, with a highly recommended restaurant close by. The breakfast, served in traditional Spanish style, was absolutely delectable. Everything was good! Thank you!

Very little English spoken. Uncared-for pool. However I am nit-picking. Overall it was excellent

Very comfortable and romantic hotel. The apartment was spacious, especially the bedroom. We asked to include our son, and they kindly added a bed to the room. Exclusive breakfast with local products. We loved it!

An ideal location for walkers, whether short- or long- distance. Set in shady woodlands, not far from a GR hiking route, but also with plenty of short walks in the vicinity. We stayed outside peak season, but I imagine the shade of the trees would be a delight in summertime. Proof that the're is a lot more to Spain than crowded beaches!
