I liked the peaceful location

There was a cook top but you have to pay for silverware, plates and cookware so that kind of made the cooktop pointless for me. There is no breakfast offered at all (not even continental)

The staff was great and super welcoming. Vanessa did a great job cleaning the room before we arrived. The walls are so thick we didn’t hear ONE sound from the guests around or above. Room is great for two adults. We traveled with an infant as well and I would encourage purchasing a bigger room as the room was too small for a pack n play or sleeping arrangements for infant that needs to follow safe sleep rules. The faucets in both the bathroom and kitchen were backwards. Typically wouldn’t be much of an issue except the hot water gets so hot that I did end up getting burned and having to get burn cream. I did let the staff know so hopefully maintenance does change this around since it is a simple fix. Shower head definitely needs replaced as some of the nozzles are broken causing them to spray outside the shower and making it difficult to rinse thick hair.

I recently stayed at My Place Hotel in Colorado Springs and was extremely disappointed with the misleading advertising on Booking.com. The listing promised a full kitchen, yet there were no pots, pans, or essential cookware provided. After speaking with Destiny at the front desk, I was told that refunds couldn’t be issued as the policy was clearly stated on Booking.com. However, upon reviewing the website, I found no such policy regarding the lack of kitchen supplies. Destiny explained that they don't include dishes, pots, and pans because it's a liability. When I asked for clarification, she mentioned concerns about theft and the potential for guests to get hurt. I found this to be a very poor and unconvincing answer. I have stayed at many different hotels with full kitchens, and they all include pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. Destiny also acknowledged that this issue has occurred before and mentioned that corporate doesn’t make concessions or offer refunds. This left me feeling lied to and taken advantage of as a customer. The experience was frustrating, and I believe others should be aware of this deceptive practice. I hope the hotel chain My Place Hotel addresses this issue to prevent future guests from experiencing the same disappointment. Sincerely. Paul and Jan Walker

The misleading advertising that the hotel had a full kitchen. And yet there were no pots pans or dishes and utensils. The attitude I got from Destiny. And the way she made me feel. Horrible hospitality from her part.

Good location, right off the highway. We got a room overlooking the mountains. Although we could see the highway, we did not hear any noise. The manager, Rihanna and Yesania at the front desk were very helpful at check-in. I had reserved a room with recliner but they did not have any overlooking the mountains. So I said I would prefer the view to the recliner and they gave me a room on the 3rd floor with a great view. There was hot coffee in the lobby and also a coffeemaker and coffee in the room.

Blinds were light blocking, but not blackout.

This hotel was really nice. It was perfect for what I needed for my sister's wedding. It was 15-20 minutes away from everything I needed to go to no matter what way it was. The front desk people were AWESOME and the room was perfect. It has a fridge and freezer with an ice maker microwave 2 burner stove sink with a garbage disposal the only thing is you have to bring all your own kitchen supplies pots silverware cups bowls plats whatever you need. The shower got super hot and youre able to change the shower head pressure. They have a door in the room so if you need 2 rooms with your kids or family you can use the door. The only thing that really sucks was the walls were pretty thin the people next to use started fighting at 6am LOUDLY cussing and yelling at each other and their kids. The kids were yelling and then to doors started slamming. Of course this isn't the hotels fault you can get loud people at any hotel.

Honestly we liked everything except the people fighting next to us but that can happen anywhere.

Loved this clean, comfortable hotel. Amazed at the kitchenette that had a full size refrigerator and cooktop burners! You could actually cook here if you wanted! Staff was friendly and helpful. Cute little path outside to walk your pup. Nice patio with tables outside to eat or enjoy the outdoors.

Not sure if this is normal there or just a one day thing but there was only one employee to service the front desk and often he was not available (sign posted that he was helping another customer). This situation happened 3x for us when we had questions, needed something or the coffee ran out, no one was there. But when he was there he was very helpful (it was the same person working when we checked in and in the morning). Maybe they just need a second staff member to help cover the front desk?

Clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, full kitchen and the views.

Only one trolley was available to take your luggage from your vehicle to the room. With the number of rooms in the hotel they could use some more trolleys to carry luggage. The elevator needs some upgrade/repair as its very old and was hardly working on our first day of stay and was out of order during our 2nd night stay and we had tough time carrying all the luggage from our room in 3rd floor to our vehicle during our checkout.

For our purposes it was a perfect location. Situated nicely for the Ford Amphitheater and the Air Force Academy. Nice and clean. Great staff

Original listing indicated breakfast included - turns out that is available for $7.49 for a juice and egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. You are better off driving to one of the nearby fast food restaurants. Pillows were not particularly comfortable - seem nice but unfluffs as soon as head hits pillow.

It was an amazing stay. The only thing was missing was breakfast. You can charge but provide the breakfast. That was very incontinent for me in the morning with the family to go out for breakfast. That is the only negative thing.

The location was perfect for our purposes. The room was mostly comfortable and the kitchenette with the full fridge was greatly appreciated.

Would have been nice to have the option of a king bed and two recliners. It would also have been nice to have access to dishes, utensils and cookware for the kitchenette, and a comfort/chair height toilet would have made the stay perfect. The only other problem was the ONLY luggage cart was missing and we had to make several trips to bring our belongings to the car.
