Even when the facility is old, it is kept in a good shape better that I could expect for a Travelodge hotel. Very clean, staff were friendly and always focusing in provide a good service, bed where well done and clean. Good smell of the room. Clean breakfast space. And okay breakfast. I was not expecting any of this to be honest, I choose this hotel because this was the best option for friendly and to sleep for a night but I was very glad and express my satisfaction to the front desk that they were doing a good job.

The coffee from the machine didn't taste good

The highlight of my stay was the front desk clerk Samira, she was so welcoming and pleasant, quickly accommodating a request for the first floor room. She was so quick to answer questions and always with a smile and a little laugh. She is a gem!! The pool, hot tub and sauna were exceptional. I appreciate it there were towels in the pool area. Breakfast was very good and the young lady stocking things up was very pleasant and helpful

I'd like to have had a small table and reading light on both sides of the bed.

The complimentary breakfast was a welcome bonus value. There was a nice selection of assorted items that would appeal to almost anyone. The king size bed was comfortable, and the temperature was pleasant (although the older AC unit was somewhat noisy).

It's an older facility, with walk-up second floor rooms and additional sets of stairs. This can pose a challenge to anyone with mobility matters. Sound insulation was minimal as you could hear sound coming from outside the unit

Tried to book one extra night, called booking/reservation number several times. It was hard to understand individuals who answered calls, I had to call several times. Finally booked and received email confirmation of booking then got a call late in evening that they were full. I had no where to stay. Nice lady from front Reception advised that this has happened before. This needs to be fixed. I think I should get a free night for future trip for my troubles.

Place looks worn on the outside( which I'm sure will be upgrade), but as soon as you enter, you quickly notice and feel the new vibe. Money is being spent to upgrade. Room was descent and clean, pool area was fantastic, great spot for kids and adults, with all three, pool hot tub, and sauna... .. and as a basketball team, the size and ability to put us all in one area was great, because the kids could run around and not really bother anyone...

I liked everything, though one thing could be added, and that simply would have been some bacon and sausage with the breakfast..

Breakfast room was nice, just no Gluten Free options, brought my own GF product. Maybe a question of food allergies should be asked during booking process. Location was great, close to highway 104.

Access door for night arrival was locked before specified time. That made for round about trip to our room. There was no elevator, so luggage had to be carried up flights of stairs.

It was in a very convenient location. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room lived up to my expectations. It was great to be able to get up in the morning and have breakfast available. If I travel to Amherst again, it is definitely where I will stay.

There are not any improvements that I can suggest. Everything was to my liking.

Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful as well.

The breakfast options were fair, but there was no protein option. To offer bacon and hash browns with the rest of the breakfast options would send the hotel experience soring to new heights.

Clean,quiet,friendly, reasonably priced

My room 301 unfortunately had no hot water in shower,staff suggested we go to another room to shower which would have been down on the 1st floor. As we were all settled in for the evening we decided that was not an option for us.. So I suggested a discount on the room & staff agreed. Thank you !

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. The staff were wonderful - friendly, helpful and informative. This is a great location to explore Nova Scotia.

I liked it all.
