We mainly book Bed & Breakfasts and try to find historic homes. Maplehurst Manor was the most Elegant and Luxurious restored home we have ever stayed in. Jeff and Marisca were the perfect couple and provided such classy hospitality. Our room was tastefully furnished, fine linens, sitting area with a view, restored fireplace, coffee, chocolates, fresh baked cookies, claw footed oval bathtub with a chandelier overtop, bath salts, shower with multiple jets, double sinks and a charming ladies room complete with mirror, brush and comb, period desk and chair with needlepoint cushion. Our Chandler Suite, Dining Room and Public areas on the landings were furnished with period furniture and one wall featured a exquisite patterned quilt. The home had a beautiful rooftop patio with relaxing views of the countryside. The front entrance had a lovely porch to enjoy the garden view. Our candlelit multi course breakfast was heavenly and presented as if we were royalty with fine china and silver. This home is six star quality and above. Upon leaving we were gifted with a lovely Thank You card, tasty cookies, logo pens and a gracious goodbye. This home is an oasis and we will never find another B & B such as what Jeff and Marisca have provided. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The property was extremely well maintained and Marisca and Jeff were very very welcoming! Every single little detail was taken care of! It was extremely cozy! We had the chandler suite! Wow! Beautiful antiques, king size bed, the fireplace in the big bedroom and sitting area. Also a very big bathroom with the claw foot bathtub and a very nice shower with different shower jets along the wall. And it also included a beautiful makeup table. The breakfast was all homemade and very delicious. The dining area also had a fireplace that was lit, fresh flowers on the table and she had lit candles on our table! We are definitely going back. Best place we’ve stayed at! Ever! ❤️20 out of 10!!

Originally we were only booked for 1 night and the plan was to travel to another place and spend our last 2 nights someplace else. Well that was our plan BUT after spending the night seeing how incredible this place was and the amazing breakfast that was included we just knew we didn’t want to leave. We were so fortunate to be able to book the final 2 nights here and couldn’t be happier. Absolutely no detail has been overlooked and it’s beyond beautiful. Perfect location to go to Hopewell Rocks and easy trip to Nova Scotia and PEI 😊

Immaculate and authentically restored antique home and beautiful property. It was an absolute delight to stay in this piece of Canadian history in quiet Dorchester, NB. Heated bathroom floors, luxe linens, a clawfoot tub, and a gas fireplace in our suite (along with freshly baked cookies). Unbelievable ambiance and hospitality along with a candlelit breakfast which was a highlight of our East Coast vacation. 15/10.

Maplehurst Manor felt like an escape from a fast-paced commercialized environment; going back to a simpler, more elegant time. It was extremely luxurious, the amenities were excellent, and breakfast was unlike anything else we've experienced. The owners were extremely nice and readily available to help with anything we had any questions about, most definitely an experience everyone should have.

This place is a little bit out of the way, but it's definitely worth it! Our room was very large and comfortable and our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The rooftop deck is awesome!!! Plan ahead to have your dinner or dessert out there with a glass of wine. We also loved the warm chocolate chip cookies that magically appeared in our room. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding! Overall a truly wonderful experience! Thanks!

Chandler room exceeded our expectations. There is a wow factor in the master bath and a separate vanity room! I loved it! Perfect for a romantic getaway with your sweetie! Breakfast was excellent too.it was cooked to perfection and served on bone china. Lit candles on the table made it very special. Other surprises await you at thisb friendly, homey Manor.

Quiet location, comfortable beds, large rooms and exceptional bathrooms. Every detail was top notch, breakfast was varied, always well presented and very tasty. Marisa, Jeff and Rosie were wonderful hosts, friendly, caring and obviously dedicated to offering the finest bed and breakfast experience possible. I think they succeeded and would recommend them to anyone and will certainly stay there again, if possible. The little touches were much appreciated, cookies, chocolates, slices of apple cake and the refill of the creamer for my in-room coffee. The Keurig coffeemakers in each room worked great, a nice prelude to breakfast coffee and easy to use. You will not regret a stay here, we found that none of our other trip accommodations could compete with Maplehurst Manor.

A minor inconvenience was that there were no restaurants within walking distance, on the other hand, the area was very quiet and private

The hosts were amazingly hospitable. The bath sheets were awesome and changed out regularly. The heated floors in the bathrooms were lovely. The bed was comfortable and Breakfast was delicious.

We were looking for secluded so this wasn't a problem for us but there is a pretty decent drive to major amenities like Hopewell Rocks, Moncton, Alma and Bay Of Fundy National Park. If you plan ahead it's not a big deal.

Breakfast is cooked to order, with different choices each day - fantastic! Sociable & helpful hosts who were a delight to talk to. Unexpected extras such as home-baked cookies. Great spacious bathroom with walk-in shower. House of great character & with ample parking.

There was hanging space in the closet, but a set of drawers in the bedroom, so that suitcases can be unpacked, would also be useful.
