It was clean and well maintained. The decor was modern and the bed was comfortable. The value was exceptional and the staff were very nice. I was just passing through and it was located near the highway but far enough away from the road that it was quiet. Overall, this was a really great find and I would definitely stay there again.

For the price, it was excellent- but the breakfast was modest (but great for the price) and a very nice bonus! I don’t love the ac units that blow air on and off all night but again, that’s pretty standard for a lot of hotels and they temperature control was just fine.

This was a one-night stay headed North from So. Florida. The check in front desk attendant was efficient, professional and explained the continental breakfast hours, etc. Breakfast was a brief continental breakfast with sufficient items. The young man on duty mastered the art of multi-tasking and doing an excellent job. While I was there eating breakfast (about 15 minutes), he manned the front desk, answered the phone, checked out customers and kept the breakfast bar well stocked including freshly brewed coffee; all with a smile. My compliments to this young man.

My room was several rooms down from the front entrance. Someone checked in at 4 AM, left their vehicle (truck) running the whole time he/she checked in. The vehicle was parked under carport near hotel check in. My suggestion is to ask management to post a sign(s) in carport area reminding customers to turn off vehicle while checking in. And, prevent the possibility of seeping Carbon monoxide.

We have passed through Santee about twice a year on our way to Florida for the past 7 years or so. We found this place and have enjoyed it ever since the first time. We have our dog with us, and they accommodated us the first time beautifully. They gaves the ground floor, corner room and they have given us the same room every time we've come since. So it actually feels like home to us at this point. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

There is nothing that we don't like it's the perfect place for a stay over.

This really fit the bill which was overnight stay at a great price. It was clean and the woman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Understand that it's not a luxury hotel, but it provided everything we needed for the purpose of the stay. It is located almost immediately off the highway with gas stations and restaurants nearby. Room provided mini fridge and coffee maker. I thought it was very clean and bed, linens and pillow were very comfortable. This is a dog friendly hotel and they conveniently put dogs in 1st floor rooms. Dog fee was very reasonable and they do not charge for service animals.

I don't remember a dedicated dog relieving area or for that matter a lot of green area to walk the dog. The hotel sits behind a few other higher story hotels and at night it wasn't lit as well as I would have liked. I didn't feel very comfortable walking by myself so at night my husband walked the dog.

I am handicapped and the accommodations for that were exceptional! I also loved the fact that the rooms were NOT carpeted.

I didn't like that we registered as a couple(two people) and they gave 3sets of towels for every other day, it should have been four sets. In addition, I noticed that the floors were not swept and mopped at no time during our stay, that just didn't sit well with me.

Room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The entire facility was very clean.

The bathroom is very small. The sink faucet needs replacing; the water barely came out. I reported this issue. The room has window type AC and can leave a musty smell; it wasn't bad; just seems typical of these types of units wherever we stay.

The location and the price. The beds were really comfortable and the room was clean. It’s listed as a 2 star but it’s better than some 3 stars I’ve stayed at.

Lots of trucks parking so it was a bit noisy. But if all you need is a stop on your roadtrip to sleep, this is a great spot. It’s very basic, which I am fine with.

Very easy off and on to interstate. Plenty of parking for all types of vehicles and sizes. Rooms were very clean, modern and the bed was very comfortable. The woman at the front desk at check in was very polite and professional. Nice little breakfast in the morning with quite a few different foods to have. Very nice stop.

The room was very clean and everything was in working order. ( Coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, etc) The bed was very comfortable...For the price of the room you can't beat it. Excellent value!!

The entrancece to the rooms right out to the parking lot. The swimming pool was out of order. There was no workout room, that I was aware of

Great stay for the value. Updated room features were really nice. Some features still need updating (shower). Otherwise it was a quiet, very comfortable stay! Dog friendly with nice sidewalks and grass around building to walk pups. Definitely good value, great staff, would stay again!

The bath tub had old non-slip strips that were off putting and there was a cracked but cemented tile in our bathroom area that was not lovely. But these were just cosmetic, still very clean. Oh and the rooms smelled like disinfectant... which isn't a terrible thing if you get the air circulating.
