The hotel is nice, the location has the view of Mt. Fuji, amazing views from the room. The room itself was huge and there is an onsen inside the hotel, which was great for relaxing after a day sightseeing. I didn’t try the food at the hotel, but they offered breakfast, lunch and dinner. I liked that the hotel was near a park, so had that nature vibe.

The location is not within public transport reach..so you have to take taxis to go anywhere and taxis in Mt. Fuji are a bit scarce. It would be great if the hotel had a shuttle service or something like that. A taxi from the Kawaguchiko train stn to the hotel is roughly 1900 yen by the way. I would leave in the morning (would try to get a ride with a hotel guest checking out) and then take a taxi to the hotel at the end of the day. Keep in mind that especially on weekends, when fuji area is busier with tourists, finding a cab is very hard and there’s lots of waiting (thankfully the hotel people helped me with that!, many thanks!).

You can view the Mt Fuji clearly from the rooftop on clear days. We requested breakfast and dinner at the hotel and enjoyed Japanese dishes. Staff members were very polite and helpful. Rooms are very spacious and different sizes of yukata are available.

It is about 8km away from the station but there is no public transport. We used taxis and it can be expensive.

View from my window was amazing, I saw Fuji in the morning. Staff were really friendly. The bath was really comfortable.

The lobby was a little dark, the lighting could use improvements.
