Very close to the station and bus stop. The hotel is literally behind Fuji-Q Highland so if you're planning to visit there it's very convenient. They allowed me to leave my luggage when I was too early. All facilities are clean. Plenty of showers, sinks and toilets.

You have to be out 10am-3pm for cleaning.

This hostel is wonderful! The beds are large and super comfortable. The capsules themselves have multiple lighting options, multiple outlet options, a lockbox for personal items, and a fan with various settings. The facilities are incredibly clean and felt very safe. The staff are nice and helpful too! It’s also right next to a convenience store which was great.

You have to leave the property from 10am-3pm each day for cleaning, which isn’t always super convenient. While it is close to the local Fuji-Q Highland bus stop and Fujikyu-Highland train station, those are both for local travel within Fujikawajguchiko. The Fuji-Q Highland bus station for expressway buses coming into and out of the city is about a one-mile (20 minute) walk away — just something to keep in mind.

I loved how clean and organised the hotel was. They had amazing amenities, and great social area where you can eat and talk. The staff were very kind and professional. There is a Lawson adjacent to it to get food and it’s great if you want to go to the Fuji k theme park as it’s only a 2 minute walk!!

It was difficult to sleep at night due to sound. Especially from other guest using the bathroom blow dryer. On one night a fire alarm went off at 4am which woke up all up and the staff didn’t know how to switch it off. Overall sleeping at this hotel was not great for me (only as I am very sensitive to noise)

I wanted us to have a true Japanese experience on our first trip to Japan, so I booked a capsule hotel while visiting Fujiyoshida. My husband was on the men’s floor; I stayed with the women on the main floor. I was truly surprised by the level of cleanliness and order that awaited me! Everything was immaculate - the locker room, the dressing/shower room; the bathroom; the capsules. Pristine!! The bed was roomy and comfortable and I slept soundly. There is a bit of a learning curve here - bring ear plugs for sleeping as the “doors” are simply roller blinds that don’t have soundproofing! Also, remember to leave a 3” gap at the bottom of your door for air flow. I didn’t do this and the capsule got a bit stuffy.

I should have asked for a capsule that was NOT directly across from the women’s bathroom! Too busy and noisy until 11pm.

Very clean facilities and the staff was helpful

This was my first time in staying at a communal hotel so I don’t know what to expect. I stayed here because my kid wanted to do this since we were traveling to Japan. So the men’s side was a bit busier than the woman’s side (as expected because I think a lot more men are going to travel solo than women). Being a light sleeper, any noise from a neighbor woke me up and I like to sleep in the cold so it was a little warm for my liking. But again, this was nothing wrong with the hotel- more of just my individual preferences-

This is my second time staying here during my visit to Kawaguchi-ko. The first time was in 2018 when they provided all Shiseido products in the hotel. Although they have changed to another brand, it’s still lovely and satisfying. They provided everything, including all amenities and makeup remover. You just need to bring clothes, skin care products, and makeup. The only downside for me as a non-morning person is that we must leave the hotel from 10am to 3 pm, although this is understandable for cleaning purposes. The location is convenient, with the bus and train station just behind the hotel. Highland Park is nearby, although I haven't had a chance to visit it yet. Since my last visit, the area has had more restaurants, making it feel livelier. I accidentally left my favourite bead bracelet there 😭 and hope to find it when I return. Ohh.. And I’ll definitely return to stay at this place.🫰🏻👍🏻

The cabins were the biggest I've stayed in, in japan! Lovely huge bathrooms and products to use. The common area was also good. Right by bus and train station and in the middle of all things to do!

I work remotely and when I asked if there was anywhere I could take a work call as there were signs in the common area to not play things outloud, I got a sharp 'no' with no help as to where I could go. Also being out 10-3 was okay but cutting off the lounge area seemed unnecessary as I tried to return to charge my phone and I got turned away sharply again by staff.

Very clean, modern and convenient. Lawson convenience store right next to it. Big supermarket and drug store not far from it. Really convenient for the Fuji-Q Highland amusement park. Staff is really friendly. One stop from Kawaguchiko station where you can get buses to different parts of the Mt. Fuji region.

It's generally quiet, but if you are a light sleeper you might have some trouble as there's always people coming in and out even during the night. Luckily they provide free ear plugs. I wish the lockers were a bit bigger. Everyone needs to leave the premises between 10AM and 3PM, which wasn't a problem for us but it might get annoying if you are tired and wants to sleep till later.

I enjoyed my stay at Mt.Fuji Cabin & Lounge Highland Station Inn. The hotel location is good (just a short walk from the Kawaguchiko station where one can rent a bike). It is also rather convenient to walk to the Chureito pagoda if you are not in a hurry. All the basic amenities have been provided. The individual capsule, public shower and locker room are all good. You can also use the washing machine at the hotel. Good choice for travelers who want to spare some budget and yet have a place to stay when being at the Fujisan Five Lakes area.

None! Everything met my expectations.
