Waking up to the majestic sight of Mount Fuji each morning was nothing short of magical! We savored simple joys like enjoying our Lawson breakfast takeaways and our own shabu shabu (we bought simple quality ingredients from the supermarket) at the table while soaking in the view—truly a highlight of our stay. The apartment itself was impeccably maintained, with all the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. I was impressed with the smooth operation of the apartment despite not having any staff on ground. They responded efficiently via the booking.com app when I had queries. Self check in process was simple! Parking spot is conveniently located by the apartment. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: ten min drive from Bell Shopping Mall (perfect for groceries and last-minute snacks from Daiso) and surrounded by local eateries such as Sushi-ro. Don Quijote is also a ten min drive away Fuji-q highland is also a ten min drive away. The apartment is also near to the Kawaguchiko station and that famous Lawson (as with everywhere in Japan, please be a considerate tourist) We drove to Fuji Safari Park (about an hour away), and it was a **fantastic experience for our little one**—highly recommend for families! Don’t miss dinner at Funari - a must go! Our little one loved her stay here so much that she shed tears when we left—proof of how special Fuji san has become to her.

Modern, clean apartments. Good location with a view of Mt Fuji.

Our room was on ground level so when we sat on the balcony, the barrier completely covers the Mt Fuji view. I saw from other traveller’s photos that the top level rooms did not have this problem so if you want a balcony view, ask for the first floor rooms.

Self checking in , passwords etc delivered by email morning before, easy to checkin. All went smoothly. Had,some on line contact and all staff were super polite and caring. As for the room....spacious...2 huge double beds....decent , basic kitchen stuff we used. Super comfy sofa....Huge TV, not that you need it. VIEW of FUJISAN to DIE FOR. We stayed in one day and sat on balcony , so happy. In total stayed 3 nights, and were sad to leave.....couldnt book extra night cos they were full.

Perhaps a little overpriced but then it's high season. Be ware of one flight of steep stairs, not an issue for us.

One of the best views from any hotel room I have ever stayed in. You cannot beat the view of this place! We got to say "Good Morning" and "Good Evening" to Fuji-san right from our balcony! Definitely recommend asking the staff for a room on the second/top floor. The room was quiet big for 3 people and plenty of space for everyone to put down their suitcases. The location was idea because it was only 8-10 min walk from the main Kawaguchiko station. Which worked out very well for us, because the buses in this small town are limited, packed, and expensive. So walking from the main station worked out very nicely. I would 10000% stay here again!

The road from the main station to the accommodation are not that nicely paved, so it was hard to wheel 2 large suitcases on this road. Also there are no elevators, so you have to carry all your luggage up. However this is only a 2 story building and they have this small slide on the side next to the stairs to push and slide your bigger luggage up and down.

I loved everything about this property! The beds were very comfortable and I really liked the sofa area too. It was nice to relax, eat and watch TV there after a long tiring day. The shower was very comfortable and soothing. The toilet and shower area were conveniently separate. The apartment facilities and design was very thoughtful and accommodating. We wanted to extend our stay but it was booked so couldn't unfortunately. I would love to stay here again next time we visit Fuji mountain.

Perhaps the only thing was that we got the ground-floor apartment and Fuji mountain had a tree in front of it on the right side. From the top floor apartment, I think the view would be nicer.

View of Fuji was excellent. Parking convenient. Spacious room had all what a usual hotel room has. Good location, walkable to train station, also a short 5 min drive to ropeway station or lake cruise departure point, Fuji Safari park & Gotemba premium outlets are around an hour’s drive, Fuji Q amusement park can be seen from here & its a short drive getting there. Though this place has no staff on site, communication or getting info was easy through this app chat.

Just a slight bummer. Both bed heads had a layer of dust. The entrance area was also dusty. Both i had to give it a wipe. The entrance to the parking was easy to miss at night as it has no light. Located next to train track so the usual noise when train starts running in the morning.

The host spoke english and understood our needs. Instructions were clear. The place was very clean & easy to find - near fuji-q land. The place is new and there is a 7/11 nearby. But of course nothing beats the view of Mt. fuji early in the morning. This is more of a BNB house than a hotel. You can cook (there are utensils, microwave, mini ref). The toilet & tub are separate rooms which means one can poop while another takes a bath. I like that there is a dining / sofa and this can really fit 4 person in reality.

There were no coffee or tea but you can buy them at 7/11. We had to go out again since we didnt notice.

Out of all the accommodation that we had stayed in whilst in Japan, Kainosato was by far the best. Very, very clean; amazing big room, amazing bathroom (OMG THE BATH) and the most stunning view of Mount Fuji. Very easy to get to, just a 10-minute stroll from the station. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay - one that I will not forget.

Not enough cooking utensils...... Steep stairs....beware. ALL rooms are overpriced intros area....so you have to pay more........If you have GREAT weather, yes it is worth it....BUT remember, it's a tourtictic place with many people.......We preferred Fuji City.....zero tourists, cheap hotels!!!

Fantastic location at easy walking distance from the main station and there are a lot of cafes, and a 7/11 next door. The room was very big and comfortable beds - very spacious. Super clean as well Best of all was the absolutely fantastic view of Mt Fuji right from our window and the charming balcony. Check in process was simple and efficient and the staff had sent detailed instructions for automatic check in.
