The room was very clean and tidy. When we arrived the outside of units and driveway were being cleaned, but not a big deal as just wanted to drop our bags and then head out again. When we returned it was all finished and looked very good. The room itself was well appointed with all that you need for an overnight stay, and added bonus were electric blankets on the bed as it was a cold winters night. The shower was great, lots of hot water and lots of pressure!

All went well, staff we met were very pleasant and helpful. Bed was comfortable and warm.,

Being old people, we found the TV difficult. A helpful young staff member tuned it into channel 1…..then later I pressed the wrong button and that was the end ! We didn’t have any TVthe 1st night….turned it on late and it was on something we had never heard of so didn’t know what to do! …..turned it off. Our ignorance Im sure?

The motel was in excellent condition and immaculate. The large room we received was very comfortable and well appointed. The kitchenette should have napkins/paper towel. The owners were helpful. It was a good value and we’d stay there again.

The breakfast offered wasn’t worth the value so we made our own.

Lovely room and the outdoor area looks as though it has been spruced up. Makes the environment a lot more inviting.

In the past, staff have been really friendly and welcoming. This time, there was no small talk or chit chat, even though I was the only customer in the office. This is such a shame as I have stayed in this facility at least half a dozen times and intend to continue staying here.

Clean, well maintained & comfortable furniture. Addition of armchairs a bonus. The decor was very pleasant, even the gardens and car park was tidy and well looked after.

Coffee plunger was another bonus but only supplying enough coffee for one was disappointing. Plug thing in bath/shower broken, just sitting in place and dreadful shampoo conditioner supplied.

We had an excellent say with Cathy and Jim had great to visit , gave us lots of directions around town things to see . even to help Find the next hotel in the next town. Highly recommended.

Nothing great place to stay wish we had more time

Exceptionally clean and the amenities were constantly topped up. The man who greeted us on arrival was very helpful and informative about the area. Very quiet location yet very central. Easy parking. Lovely bath :)

Can't think of anything

Lovely couple with excellent customer service. We loved our 1 bedroom apartment. Was spacious, modern, clean, central to everything. We'll be back should we need accommodation in Whanganui again 😊

As a truck driver I am used to motel overnightings. For my holiday we chose this for our week-end in Whanganui. This is by far the best place I have stayed. Would recommend to anybody if you are looking for a tidy and spotless place

absolutely nothing that I didn't like

Was clean and comfortable, spa bath was lovely, the coffee plunger was a bonus, great to have that and not just instant coffee. Overall was a lovely stay

It was a cold day, and the room was very cold when I entered, it would have been nice if the heat pump had been put on to take the chill of the room, only a suggestion, but everything else was lovely.
