Absolutely everything!! I highly recommend this place 10/10. The beds are super comfy that I slept in an extra 2 hours than my body clock normally lets me. Everything felt clean. I felt safe. Justin was often out and about around the grounds so it was easy if you needed to ask about anything he was more than happy to help. He makes you feel right at home.. Great communication before check in and during the stay. When you speak with Justin, you can tell this isn't just a motel to him, but you can hear his heart, passion and drive to make the motel something special and memorable for his loved ones and himself. Everything you need is in that room. The Games/kitchen room is awesome, there is so much variety of things to do. I stayed in room 11 themed Barman Josh's VIntage Bottles. I loved the history in there with the bottles. I definitely look forward to returning soon. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Chinchilla for the Watermelon Festival thanks to Acacia Motel for adding a positive experience to the weekend. Absolutely brilliant and Thank You 😊

Nothing to fault at all

The changes made to the Acacia since I last stayed are beyond impressive. The themed rooms continue to just get better. The cleanliness and bed comfort are top notch. But the new games room is unbelievable. Not only is it reminiscent of the 1980's, but all the games are included in your room cost. I was impressed the room cost is the same price as my previous stay, but the new included facilities add a whole new dimension to the trip. They have thought of everything including a dining table like a giant record to enjoy your takeaway while you chill out and watch the huge TV. There's even a free to use water cooler to top up your bottles. The new paint job on the outside is very cool and retro. This motel is certainly the only one in Chinchilla to stay at if you're travelling for work.

I regularly attend Chinchilla for work. The Acacia Motel is the only motel I would stay at. Certainly, the best value and with the improvements over the past 12 months, the Acacia Motel is in my opinion the best accommodation for comfort, entertainment and price point. The highly detailed themed rooms continue to be the highlight of my trips. The motel is also ideally located within 2 min walk to KFC, Subway, Domino Pizza and several coffee shops so you don't have to get back in the car to go out.

I cannot think of anything that could be improved.

Stayed in the Vintage Bottle room which was tastefully themed around Craft beers and vintage bottles including the 100 year history of Coca Cola Bottles. I travel to Chinchilla for work every few weeks and this motel continues to impress. The social gaming room is a great place to unwind and listen to some music while eating take away after work. As always the themed rooms are immaculately presented and the management excel in every way.

There is nothing I can fault

Set off the highway so you don't hear the traffic. Breakfast is no longer available but there is a fantastic local cafe or Coffee Club within 2 min drive or 5 min walk. Rooms are cosy and very comfortable. All rooms are themed and have trivia questions to help entertain. Basic toiletries supplied (soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner). Towels lovely and soft. Justin is lovely and very helpful. If you need something or want to know something just ask. There is a laundromat close by (2 shops up from cafe).

Would like to stay longer.

What an amazing hotel! Justin and his staff were fantastic and made us very welcome. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and clean and we loved the games room. Would definitely recommend!

The one and only drawback was the lack of a pool. The weather was hot and we would have loved to take a dip.

Justin runs a fantastic motel. Each room is individually styled and there is a brilliant tv/games room. It was a real pleasure meeting and chatting to Justin. The next time we’re in this part of Queensland we’ll stay or call in and just say hello. Thank you.

It was perfect.

The themed rooms make this motel interesting, fun and unique. I received a free upgrade to the Family room which has been themed around gaming. I honestly was not expecting a room with a full size video arcade machine. As always the beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms always clean. 10/10 keep up the great work you are doing! RD

It was great. I felt as I went back in time to my childhood. Brought back great memories. I would definitely stay there again.

Honestly nothing, the Fun Director advise it is in a state of renovation. However I would not have known. It was quiet and very pleasant.

The owner really put himself out to accommodate my needs. As a travelling trainer I have a lot of paperwork to complete and my motel room becomes my office, once he realised what I needed he put me in a room with a very comfortable bed and a full sized office desk. I could set up my Laptop and the printer and plenty of room to spread out paperwork. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Great place to stay.

I have no complaints and will stay here again
