Location and staff. We were in center of Chianti, able to do day trips to different places of our interests, and return in the evening to this quaint small village with the most memorable sunsets because of its location. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We rented 2 rooms, one of our family members had to depart at 2 am, and the made a breakfast bag for my relatives so that they had something to eat and drink on way out. Will never forget that extra touch.

The location is great, the town of Radda is beautiful and very relaxed. The property is located in the centre of the town with very easy access. The room was spacious and comfortable with lovely views of the church and town square.

The jacuzzi and sun lounger area is very small and you are restricted to using it in set time slots booked through the reception team. The majority of the afternoon most of the sun loungers are in the shade so if you want the sun you either need to get in before anyone else or sit in the jacuzzi.

The staff is lovely and gave us a very heartwarming welcome. The room was very comfortable and charming, with an amazing view. They went the extra mile and surprised us with a bottle of wine to celebrate Christmas. We loved the experiences at the restaurant and the Spa.

The wi-fi in the room was not the best and oscillated a bit, other than that, there is nothing negative that I can think of about my experience there. My only recommendation is to go there by car or taxi. The bus is a possibility, but not very flexible with only a few departures by day.

I really enjoyed the breakfast, it was well presented and plenty of choice. Most lovely coffee. Staff were so attentive and helpful. Room was lovely. Radda in Chianti is a beautiful town, views over the Tuscan landscape are exceptional! You do need a car though to explore other areas.

Found bed a little on the hard side. Only thing I was little upset by was that I had emailed the hotel months prior to my stay asking about booking a taxi. I was told to request this on our arrival as taxi need to come from Florence and so that they can get it booked for us. Unfortunately on our arrival we were told taxis come from sienna and cannot be pre booked. We were attending a wedding at the end of the week, therefore we then had to sort this ourselves.

In April I can say it’s such a beautiful and calm place to be, very relaxing. Small but nice spa area, stunning surroundings and some good restaurants nearby. But I understand it gets busy during the summer, so I don’t know how relaxing it is then :) Special thanks to the guy at the reception on our last day who recommended to visit Montefioralle - we would have missed that but thanks to him we saw this small gem as well!

The suite was well equipped with a lovely bath in on bathroom and a shower unit in the other bathroom,there is a separate lounge area with settee,chairs and tv as well as a tv in the bedroom.We parked our car on the Main Street away from the hotel and walked to the hotel,I didn’t fancy driving through a ZTL zone,you do get 15 minutes to drive to the hotel,unload and find a perking spot, down narrow streets to access the hotel.We asked at reception when we booked in where to park and it did take a bit of persistence to get the receptionist to offer directions to the free hotel car park which was located away from the hotel,down hill,the map issued was not very accurate but we found the barrier parking area after a drive around.Radda is a lovely stop off with good restaurants and shops,a fair amount are touristy.

The parking,you have to be persistent to get the details of the free hotel parking.

Nice location, clean and spacious room. Staff was super helpful and pleasant.

When we first checked in, we were a little dissapointed. Hotel looks much better on the pictures, in reality it's a different vibe. Considering how much it costs we were expecting more. It looks more like a budget hotel, than a 4*. But staff in the hotel are some of the nicest, most helpful and genuine people I ever met. Mariangela at the reception and the waiter (i can't remember his name) are the reason I'm rating the hotel higher than I would. They made our stay special.

The bed was a bit too hard for me. Shower could have been more powerful. The friend who had a room to himself at the top of the hotel was not provided with any tea & coffee facilities, we should have probably said something but he just came down to ours if he wanted a cup of tea.

Cluster of buildings all with the same owners so we had access to the indoor pool, wonderful breakfast and gorgeous old sitting rooms. Parking for us was very easy in February.

It is a little confusing on where to go for check in because they have one reception covering many buildings and that reception has a different name than our hotel.

Gorgeous property, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, lovely facilities, amazing restaurant. Just everything about this place was wonderful.

It is a little hard to reach if you don’t have a car so if you are planning on using public transport, make sure you check the schedules very closely and accommodate enough time to make the bus to take you here otherwise you will end up paying about 90 EUR for a taxi.
