Absolutely GLORIOUS property! Very relaxing and great location in Tuscany.

I did not appreciate the proprietor of the property approaching my wife and I at our dinner table and telling me that "it's not good for her if I book using Booking.com" because she makes less money. If that is how she feels about it, she should de-list her property from Booking.com. It's an absolutely ridiculous expectation on her part that I should voluntarily pay more out of my pocket, and ignore the better deal I see on Booking.com so that she can make more profit, or that I would even know that. But can you imagine telling a guest this while they are trying to enjoy dinner? Very poor taste on her part. That was the one black eye on an otherwise wonderful stay.

It is a beautiful property with exquisite views. The owners are lovely people and the staff were helpful and pleasant.

It is rather frustrating when the rooms on Booking.com are presented in one way by picture, but when you arrive it is nowhere near what you consider a high price for very mediocre accommodation. It is not the first time it has happened. The self-service everything is not appealing. Not even a fork is put on the breakfast table. You even have to boil and time your own eggs. The establishment should really review these little details which make a big difference. We all do self-service at home. We don´t need it in hotels.

The food was outstanding and the service was excellent

the hotel is not heated as Italy has a rule in that no central heating can be turned on before November 1. With the temperature dropping to 45 F at night during our stay our spacious room with high ceilings became unbearably cold. The only allowed solution was a small ceramic heater which was inadequate. The common seating room was too dark - needs more light to make it more inviting

Is a beautiful cottage with a great view, the pool is one of the best I seen, tennis court is in good condition with a amaizing view, dinner was good value for money.

Coffee and water in the room is a must. Is not acceptable to ask for it or made your self and pay for it, consider the amount of price per night. I would like to be more social, to be able to meet and talk to people over a glass of wine or dinner.

We loved our stay at this beautiful villa. All of our expectations were exceeded. The views are incredible, the grounds lovely and relaxing. We enjoyed several nice hikes in the area, wine tasting, and the pool. Breakfast was amazing, and dinner both nights of our stay served some of the best food we had in Italy. We hope we can return to this idyllic place!

The staff was lovely. The hotel itself is beautiful, I loved the pool and garden area. The location was great to take day trips to different places.

I'm a picky eater, so the evening menue wasn't quite to my taste. However, we found nice restaurants on the area, so it was all ok.

The pool is large, plenty of shadow under the trees, the garden is huge and amazing, the pool bar, the coffee mousse is delicious, the prosecco… The tennis court is a big plus for sports amateurs (my children play tennis and they enjoyed it every day)

The breakfeast was very good - big spread. The only drawback for me was that the Orange Juice was not fresh. Fresh orange juice was served but at an extra cost, not that it mattered to me but given the overall polish of the place, I think fresh orange juice should have been thrown in.....

The internet could be spiffed up a bit + it would help if they also served dinner a la carte instead of a fixed menu, since the fixed menu (which is certainly good, though those that know italy also know that Tuscan food isnt at the same level as that of Emilia ROmagna :-) can be a bit too filling every day.

The hotel location is so good that we decided to slow down the pace of our vacation and spend more time relaxing in the yard or by the pool. The area is very quiet, you could only hear church bells every hour from a church nearby, and the scenery of Tuscan hills lived up to the expectations. If you want to book this place definitely consider spending at least a day to relax. Hotel staff was great and welcoming and dinner was very good. I would definitely recommend eating here instead of eating in Panzano.

The most charming, elegant, comfortable place you could ever ask for, also the food is amazing and the staff are helpful and friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough, if you are planning to visit. DO IT. Villa Le Barone is a dream ✨💛✨
